35 mins ago I was under my covers, crying, wondering what could possibly make this day worth starting. I remembered the commitment I had made to myself to complete this series, so took a deep breath, got out my mat and decided to just let go and do it, and to see where this day takes me. I'm so glad I did. I completed the practice and I'm feeling so much better and ready to face this day - even feeling thankful for it. Thank you Adriene, for greeting all of us with absolutely zero judgement.
Hi Malin. I don't know who you are, but I'd like to thank you for your comment. I, too, was in bed, depressed. Unfortunately, I find it hard to cry when I'm sad. 34 Years of hearing "boys don't cry" makes it difficult for me to express my emotions in that capacity. I had Adriene's video, loaded in another window. I thought about doing it today, but decided to do it tomorrow. Then, I saw your comment. You're honesty inspired me to get out of bed, grab my mat and yoga out. I write all of this to say thank you Malin, where ever you are. Know that seven months after writing your message, you've inspired someone. And, thank you, Adriene. I do appreciate your craft.
My favorite part about this series has become reading the comments at the end of the video. I never directly interact with any of them but I still feel their support and that we're all on the same journey with our amazing guide Adrienne!
Reading the comments after finishing the exercise is like swimming in a pool of positivity 😊 It helps me to be motivated and continue with the challenge
While I agree it is very nice, she still gets notifications for every comment, even on many year old videos, so it's not that surprising she still interacts
@@marianna6733 same! I’ll be starting day 4 tomorrow but I always watch the video beforehand since I can’t contain the excitement. Her encouraging commentary throughout the yoga helps a lot.
Hey ya'll, I completed the 30 day Home series a few weeks ago, and was missing yoga, so I went back to the beginning and started this one. I'm amazed at how flexible and strong I've become. This series is a breeze. To everyone just starting out, hang in there, it's worth it! Thanks Adriene!
Pat Marrocco I tried something today that worked for me to have a longer wind down at the end and wanted to share: I put the day's video in "Watch Later," and then placed a 15 minute relaxation/meditation music video right after it on the watch later playlist. Then, I went into "Watch Later" and clicked "play all." Sure enough, at the end of the video, it streamed right into the meditation music with no missed beat or commercial. I meditated and rested for about ten more minutes. Thought this would help! :)
I have to say these "30 day" videos have been more challenging than I expected but it's such a good feeling (both mentally & physically) to get on the mat everyday. You're the best Adriene!
Jill O'Rourke Hi! Yes! Love to you! They are a bit challenging. But there are some restorative days and ultimately I want you to be able to return to them and see how beautifully you have evolved on the mat. Also, the power of self adjustment is awesome and it all is supportive of mindfulness and transformation! Whee!
Adriene, I can't begin to tell you what a life changer you've been! I've been battling depression and anxiety for most of my life and wanted to finally get some grounding and balance in my life - luckily I found your videos and am so thankful! You have a gift in making people feel instantly comfortable and confidant in their practice - which is hugely difficult considering you are just a pretty face on a screen. Yet you instantly made me at ease and let me understand that yoga is not about "judgement" and doing it "the right way" (which is hard for someone battling depression). Your humour and silliness is just a bright light in my day. Thank you, thank you, thank you, a million times thank you.
+Kasia Croken Yes this. I found the channel 4 days ago when I googled "Yoga for Back pain" Now I'm going though the 30 days of yoga and its helping my anxiety and depression sooo much.
Same here! But in Canada. I miss going to the gym so bad, and where I am we just got hit with second winter this morning. Right when I was about to start jogging outside. So having this series to wake up to every morning helps get my heebie jeebies out.
I rarely ever leave comments on videos, but I felt compelled to share. I have been suffering from chronic back pain for years now (so bad that it was painful to take a deep breath), Doctors had been telling me that I needed to accept the "new normal" that I was feeling and start pain management. I knew that wasn't the solution for me, so I started doing a few yoga poses on my own during my moments of most severe pain. I looked up pinterest yoga plans, yoga youtube videos, 30 day fix plans, all sorts of beginner yoga. I started to feel discouraged because I felt even more pain than before. Then I came across this 30 day plan... I am only on day four and I can already take a deep breath without pain! I am amazed at how wonderful I feel already! Compared to any other beginner yoga videos, these have been the most awakening, informal, easy to follow, and all with a bit of humor :) The most amazing thing is that I actually look forward to morning yoga now. I will report back when I finish a full 30 days, but I already know I'm going to feel amazing. I am so glad I found your videos. Also, I'm 28 and have been battling an incurable indolent cancer for 3 years now. I can't even count how many times I have been told that the way I was feeling was something I needed to accept. I am SO glad I didn't listen. Thank you so much!!
+Samantha Jo I hate it when doctors say stuff like "you should just accept this and move on". I'm like: no, I'm not stopping to find a way to improve my qualtiy of life, even just by a little. I'm happy that you decided to do the same and that it is working out for you!
+Samantha Jo it does wonders for back pain! I quit coffee and had severe back pain as one of the withdrawals. Yoga with Adriene made it go away completely. So glad its helping you!
Hi there, I just left a comment before reading yours. (never left one on a RUclips vid before) but I know how you feel. When I breathe in it's like someone has popped a knife under my shoulder blades! I hope the yoga is helping. Chronic pain is the worst.
Oh my gosh Samantha, you just wrote my life story. I saw so many doctors that they told me the pain was in my head and they even sent me to a shrink. I finally found a doctor who fixed me and things are good. Not 100%, that will never happen, but much better. One of my health ailments is chronic back pain. I have been in Pain Management for well over 10 years now. The pain was getting worse & the doc just gave me stronger meds. I was not happy, I was dopey. Those meds were in sane. I was a runner and exercised passionately for over 20 years but my injury prevented me from ever running again. Talk about depression. I knew Yoga would help but I needed the right one. Adrienne's Yoga is amazing. This is my 2nd time to do her 30 days of Yoga. On the 3rd or 4th day my back pain was gone. Here I am again on day 4 and I haven't taken any meds all day. I so happy to be doing this again. I hope you get the same good results that I did. It's nice to know the meds are there for bad days, but not everyday. I don't want any type of pain to be my new "normal". Good luck. Let me know what happens.
My neck and back are starting to feel much better! I work 56 hours a week on concrete, lifting packages and have been in severe pain. Not too mention the depression and insomnia; I would drink alcohol and take sleeping pills every day, but after these 4 days of yoga, replenishing my body with lots of water and guided meditation through other channels, I haven't needed either to get a good nights rest. Thank you Adriene!
I have been struggling my whole life with depression and anxiety and I always wanted to do yoga but I was too scared that people would make fun of me and see my scars. I would always get anxiety at the end of the day like full blown panic attacks for no reason most days I can't leave the house but I started this and I can't tell you how much better I feel. I feel like I can relax and breath just a little more everyday. Am I totally happy? No, but for at least 20 minutes each night I am at peace with myself and who I am. Thank you Adriene you are changing my life.
I know this is way later but I really hope you're doing better, I myself have recently been fighting what I feel is the end battle to years of depression. Solidarity.
This is the only yoga practice I have done where I don't feel like I'm just waiting for it to be over. I honestly enjoy watching Adriene's videos and the attitude she brings to the mat makes me so happy to be participating. I also love the little reminders to smile and remember why I am doing yoga. Looking forward to the next 26 days!
I was in an abusive relationship last fall, and it really messed me up. Today especially was a rough day with my PTSD and I was looking forward to doing yoga all day. The second I was on the mat I felt in control, even if I was struggling. But it was when Adrienne said "life is good" during child's pose and then again at the end, I started crying. A good release after the hard work out on my legs and back (severely messed up even after 2 years of therapy). Thank you for giving me some catharsis today ❤️
Thank you so much for addressing downard facing dog, I was feeling kinda bad for not being abble to put my heels on the floor... seems so far, I don't know if I'll get it one day but I am definitely enjoying the journey! :) Does anyone struggle with the cobra too? Going from plank to cobra is never a nice transition to me, I always ending up more or less gracefully falling :/
one thing to appreciate about this virus is that we finally have time to slow down and take on this challenge. i'm just 4 days in and already feeling so much better.
I have made a commitment to really move every day of 2022. I cannot live a sedentary lifestyle any longer. Thank you Adrienne for making all of your videos available to us. Onward into 2022!
I was feeling lazy and I didn't want to do this but as usual I am so glad that I did! This was amazing, I'm so relaxed and ready for a good nights rest. I see why people love yoga now.
I have been struggling with balancing graduate school, full-time work, and studying to get my state and federal licenses. My boyfriend, who is a firefighter for the state of California, introduced me to your videos because he felt that I would feel healthier and happier if I infused my life with a little physical activity. This was the best gift I could have ever been given. At first, I was nervous because I have never been so out of shape in my life and was worried I was not going to be able to keep up; I've been to a few yoga classes where I had to leave half way through because it became so grueling. Your easy going attitude, fun commentary, and your focus on self-awareness helps ground me in the moment on the mat. I was so excited today that I did both day 3 and 4, thank you!! PS All the firefighters at the station watch and do your videos every week! They love it too!
Just finished day 4. Today was the first day I was able to walk myself up from downward dog to standing without stumbling or falling over. I was so excited I started giggling, and then I was able to walk myself back down into a plank too. I've never been able to really stay consistent with yoga, but so far I've been really enjoying these every morning before work. Thank you for this series. 😊
+Leanne Coombes You are not the only one :) I am also really relexed after this yoga. I can recommend it to everyone because i also lost some lbs thanks to it. Of course diet is also important factor, i was using this one brendasfitnessjourney.weebly.com and results are really impressive :) Try it if you want and good luck :)
+LoveTaylor Of course, shameless ad placement. From the first paragraph of your link, "You might be a little curvy, and some men like that, but that isn’t always going to be a positive. Sometimes a man is going to want the perfect physique, and that’s obtainable through the use of this program.". How sad. How terribly sad. Our beauty and self-worth are NOT defined by our weight, or what men think of us!! That is the polar opposite of the message which any yoga program is aiming to put out there. Booo! I've noticed this Venus Diet ad placement on other video comments. Love yourself for yourself and no one else. (And I love Taylor Swift, but what you're trying to do here is just shameless.) Purposeful food restriction labeled as "dieting" is another tool that the patriarchy has used to control women for ages. It is bunk on physiological as well as psychological levels, and does much more damage than good for anyone. Shame on you for trying to push out your own money-making agenda on people who are trying to better their lives through yoga.
+Leanne Coombes Well, thank you. I always feel super chill after doing Adriene's yoga videos, too. I'm on the 30 Day Yoga Challenge as a new & uplifting journey as well. :D
Lauren Crosier I am proud of you :) I think this is the second time I have tried these and the first time, I didn't make it past the first day, either. I didn't really want to do this today but I am tired of starting and not finishing things. I doubt I will make it the full 30 days, but four days is the longest I've stuck with something like this.
It's cold and rainy this afternoon and it is a rest day from working out. To get some extra movement in, I decided to do this practice. I collect a lot of tension in my upper back, shoulders, neck, face, etc. This practice took some of that tension off. Thanks for sharing! After this year's annual 30 day event I'll probably try this one again! Thanks for sharing, and to whoever is seeing this, good luck! ❤️
Hey Adriene! Really enjoying your 30 days of Yoga! I'm determined to see it through! I have Spina Bifida and walk with calipers and crutches so some of the poses are challenging but I do what I can because I love it! I wonder would you ever do a video or series of videos for those who, like me are less capable of moving there legs? Maybe a fully seated yoga? I'm sure people in my position, and many others could benifit! Just an idea! Love your work! Eva :)
Hi Eva, The first video of Adriene's I ever watched was Yoga at Your Desk, which is fully seated and feels great! That might be a good start! ruclips.net/video/tAUf7aajBWE/видео.html
Hind Assia MaleanaMZ I have bad arthritis and other medical conditions and this is my second time round at the 30 Day Challenge. The first time took me 6 weeks as there were days when I was too poorly to do it but I got back to it and finished it. I am now doing it again and today's video is my favourite that I do sometimes when I have finished a shorter video. I also alternate some of the other practises with days as well. I must add here that the beginners video is really good but not as easy as you would think. Namaste my friends. :)
My back feels marvelous after today. After just completing the 30-Day Yoga Camp I was a little lost so I've now jumped in to the 30 Days of Yoga and my world is now a happy place again. I had never done yoga and found Adriene's website in February. After I did a week of the complete beginner video I was hooked. I launched into Yoga Camp and haven't looked back. I have to say that Adriene is the BEST teacher. When first checking out online videos I was intimidated, had no idea how or why to "fine tune" some of the movements or why it made a difference. I felt like a complete dunce and none of it was fun. Yoga is now my happy time and morning routine. Now sometimes I will randomly do downward facing dog just because it feels good. BTW, I will turn 60 this August. I hope any who think yoga is only for the young will find that age is just a number.:)
Tbh my friend and I love your series. Every time you tell us to find your breath or connect to your body we both curse, laugh and keep breathing and trying. That's been the whole theme of this quarantine and honestly you make it so much better. We're all a community now.
Adriene, I cannot thank you enough. My post partum mental health has been abysmal, but in even just these four days of practice I've noticed how much happier and relaxed I've been. Thank you for sharing your gift with all of us. ❤️
I used to HATE Yoga, now I look forward to getting on the mat everyday since you are the teacher. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us! Lots of love to you Adriene
Has it taken anyone else 8 days to get to day 4??? Lockdown with an infant is crazy tough so I’m just trying to be kind to myself and follow through with this commitment the best way I can. “Connect to gratitude” really just made me feel so much more grounded, connected, and recharged. Thank you, Adreiene.
Not gonna lie, it's 9 o'clock at night and I wasn't going to do day 4. I just got home from work at 7:30, ate dinner and really was not feeling it! But, contrary to what I would normally do, I stuck to it and did todays session and I couldn't feel better. It's still hard and I cant do the poses as well as I would like but I can feel myself being able to reach a deeper stretch with each day. Thank you for this, Adriene :) years later and you're still helping people with this series!
My goal is to be as aware of myself as you are. You inspire me more than anyone, Adriene. Thanks for all of the yoga. You're an incredible peace of the universe.
For those of you thinking this is a great way to start your day, I'll tell you I'm finding it to be a great way to end mine. I go for a moderate run (3 miles) and then I do one of Adriene's videos and I sleep like a baby, then wake up with no muscle or back soreness from my run, which has been a problem in the past.
Rafael Gomez Hi My Friend Ralf, soo great to see you on this sight :) I love this in the evenings too, if I didn't get to it during the day, it's a great way to stretch it all out in the evening. Great to see your face! xo
I have reconnected with yoga Up here in the beautiful mountains in Asturias, Spain ... its been a long timre but I am amazed to find I still have flexibility !! Your vídeos are truly inspirational so thank you x
Just so you know Adriene, you are me and Mum's favourite on RUclips and have taken our yoga to the next level with these :) she said "ohh isn't she gorgeous!?" when I told her I had just done day 4 😊 must agree, you are radiating positivity and a lust for life in this series! 💛
Dear Adrienne, I've been doing your Yoga for back pain for months. It really helps. I'm also on Day 4 of your 30 day challenge in an effort to help pull me through this tough time post election. Its helping me feel better in every way. There's something about you that is the perfect mix of confident leader and gentle encourager without being intimidating. You are meant for this! Thank you so much for your generosity in sharing your talents, gifts and calling with the rest of us. Love, Jeannine.
Adriene, I'm in Michigan battling seasonal affective disorder with all this snow. So far this is helping me quite a bit. I don't have a lot of money to pay for classes at a yoga studio, so this is perfect. Thank you so much.
A friend recommended your online series. I'm on Day 4, and feeling good. I never liked yoga in the past because it felt so hard and I felt silly in class, when I couldn't do 90% of the movements/poses. Downward dog is so hard for me and I would get deflated because there's so much downward dog. But I'm working through it with your class and just doing what I can and not worrying if I can't do all the things. Having them be 20 or 30 min, rather than an hour totally makes me get up and do it too. Much more manageable. I've never done any exercise for 30 days in a row, so this is new for me and I'm excited (I did take a take off when I do my weekly Pilates class, but now I'm thinking I could add it in too. Thank you Adriene! This is helping me through the pandemic! I really like your calming approach, and your teaching style. --Laura, Chicago, IL
Hi Adriene! I'm a few days behind, so I just completed Day 4. Loving it so far. It's nice to know the 30 days videos are up and ready for me as I have begun my journey. I always have felt that you know what we need to hear when we need to hear it (aka...breathe. But also reminders that we can do it!). I was saying out loud yesterday that my wrists are achy since being regimented for the last few days, so little comments like you saying "if you're still building strength, you can relieve the wrists by..." make me feel like I'm doing alright! Thanks! Namaste!
Six month ago, I came back to yoga after many years thanks to your 30 Days of Yoga. It was so challenging and frustrating in the beginning. :) Since then I did the 30 Days twice and the Yoga Camp once. Now I am returning to the 30 Days and am suprised and proud of myself, how much I have grown since. Meanwhile I celebrated my 50th birthday and feel so much more at home and happy in my body through Yoga. Thank you!!!!
Ahh- so relaxed :) Life IS good! I really hope to turn this 30 days of yoga into a regular daily practice even after this series is complete. I have back pain as well, but I do believe that regular yoga will help alleviate that. Thank you so much Adriene!
For years and years i never felt able to connect to a fitness hobby or lifestyle because of my adhd and how when i was trying to get into jogging, lifting weights, whatever, i would always just be left alone with my thoughts and become so bored with what i was doing that i just had no motivation to keep doing it and it felt like nothing more than a chore. Yoga is really the first practice since i quit martial arts as a little kid that is actually fun for me and that I feel able to consistently do, and Adriene has been a big part of that ever since my friend recommended this channel to me. I love listening to her little comments and reminders to stay mindful and what to pay attention to and focus on, because it keeps my mind engaged as well as my body and i really feel the synergy of my whole self. As corny as that sounds :) I finally get what people mean when they say they love working out. Thank you Adriene
Made it to day 4! These sessions are the first time in my life that I'm actually looking forward to a workout. I've just been excited to get my schoolwork done every day so I can have my daily yoga session with Adriene. The plank and downward dog are slowly but surely feeling easier, thank goodness lol. Thanks for addressing that not all of us can reach our heels to the ground in downward dog, I've been a bit peeved with myself over it.
This is amazing practice. I never thought it could make such a difference in my life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Adriene. You are the perfect teacher for me...It's like this is live....
day 4 complete and feeling great! worked up a sweat today and i am already seeing improvements in my downward facing dog after not practicing for almost half a year! took some time at the end of todays session to roll out my back and hold plow pose :) felt so good! anyone on day 4 with me? lets motivate each other!
I just did day 4 and today was the first day I was able to do all the downward dog stretches and breathing without taking a break. Wow! I couldnt even believe it. Day 4 and I already feel a noticeable difference in my strength. Thank you so much for making this video series. I have made this my new morning routine
Day 4.....smaaaashed iiiiiit !! This series is honestly making a huge difference to me...when this was filmed I was fleeing DV, five years on and I'm married, my 3 children happy (one is in Texas for two years spreading her wings), other two are so over lockdown, me working from home. Yoga is seriously keeping me sane and keeping my wellbeing in check. Lockdowners we can do this 🧘🏻♀️. Sending good vibes to all xx
It's pretty amazing what just four days of this can do for the mind and body. I'm already slightly more flexible and have seen remarkable improvements in my depression and anxiety with such short of a time. I look forward to this everyday and I can only imagine how wonderful I'll feel on day 30.
I've finished Day 4 at 7am. It's awesome. My only reason to wake up at 6am is yoga and you, Adriene. I just can't stop it :) I was searching some yoga postures on RUclips and I came across with one of yours. The moment I heard you saying 'yummy', I subscribed, ever since I am enjoying your yummy videos. ^^ Thanks for all. Hugs from Istanbul, Turkey Namaste.
As someone who is recovering from CFS/ME, Adriene's meditation and yoga has literally changed my life. Back in November I could barely walk, let alone relax, so once I committed to doing Adriene's anxiety meditation every.single.day, change happened. Now I'm strong enough for yoga - I can feel the change again. I'm only on day 4, but it's been 4 days since my brain fog and fatigue lifted completely. Thank you Adriene for changing my life. You've helped my body heal and given me a second chance at life. I honestly thought I'd be poorly forever. If anyone asks me how I recovered from CFS, I will simply say, 'Adriene'. Once I'm 100% recovered and living my 'normal' life again, I will continue to do her meditation and yoga every day. Thank you Adriene. X
THANK YOU, ADRIENE. I have suffered from back pain for 20 years. This practice is my favorite of all of your "yoga for back" videos. This hits upper and lower spine, flexion and extension, stretching and activating the core. Perfect combo! I have done it each morning this week after recovering from a "back attack" last week, and I have decided to do it each morning as my own rehabilitation. I worked in exercise rehabilitation for years and I wish everyone would do these exercises to prevent-and recover from- back pain! Thank you!
Ah, day 4... Adrienne I am loving this series... i am a tight bodied oldish dude...and I am already starting to feel reconnecting to my body in ways i used to when i was a lot younger. Thanks, it is great having you in my lounge room. You are wonderful company!
Honestly this was unbelievable it took away all the anxiety & stress I had for the day. This has become my favourite thing in the day. Thank you a million.
Same for me! I enjoyed the new back stretch very much! And the whole flow was an actual flow today, because for the first time I didn't have to look at the monitor every 30s!
When we moved to downward facing dog I thought to myself "wow my feet are really close to the mat today" then Adriene mentioned that so of course my mind was blown. Im beginning to enjoy this challenge more and more everyday!!
I almost skipped today as I was so exhausted from work. It is 11:38pm now and I'm done with Day 4! I managed to squeeze it in my day and okay, to be completely honest, I never actually thought I'd be committed into something like this UNTIL I came across this video. Thank you so much Adriene. You are a life changer.
This is my first experience with yoga with Adriene and I absolutely love it -- Adriene is incredibly didactic and precise, and is so low key and pleasant -- I am enjoying every moment of connecting with my body
Gabo13M I felt that way on day three and because it was short, I went back and did day 1 again. It was still hard, but easier than my original day one. I felt I needed a bit more that day, even though I’m still a beginner and can’t do it all.
Ok, so this is day 4 of the 30 day challenge and let me tell you, I think yoga has been a game changer in regards to my health. In all my 21 years of life, I have never been able to do a squat. I always struggled getting my balance and I couldn't do one without being on my tip-toes (again, not a squat). I don't know if yoga has made my muscles stronger, or made me more in tune with my body (or both!), but today I went to pick something up from the floor and I subconsciously did a proper squat and I was blown away. It may sound ridiculous but to me that was enough to know that yoga is the right choice for my body and I am sad I didn't try it sooner.
Day 4 I'm still with you! I am loving that the videos are not super long because it is making it easier to commit, especially after a 12 hour workday. Really really enjoying these videos!!!!
Hallo Adriene and everybody! I've just joined to the challenge and I love how Adri stresses the importance of feeling our body each of us in our personal way with a smile and plenty of gratitude. Today, while doing this video, I thought yoga helps us make friends with our body. A body too often despised, neglected or simply ignored. I'm wondering where this journey will bring me and, meanwhile, I want to enjoy it, day by day. Thank you, Adriene for this.
I'm back to this practise after 4 years. I just love everything about Adrienne and this series. Honestly, I'm over 50 and starting to feel achey-breaky in a very real way. To top it off, about a month ago in a burst of optimism, I went down my stairs like I'm 20-something and did something to my knee. It's better now, but still achey sometimes. My morning time with Adrienne starts my day off with a burst of positivity and with a belief that I'm doing something that is good for me for a change. Adrienne, if you're reading this, thank you. Seriously. You are making lives better. Namaste.
This felt so good, I literally cried in savasana. I've had chronic back pain since I was young. I'm finally allowing myself to tap into the spaces I hold the pain. After the 30 days, I believe I will know some knew things about myself.
I did the 30 day challenge, and am going through it again PLUS doing one pose video a day. I'm seeing improvement from the first time I did the challenge, and learning the poses more in-depth too. This is one of my favorite videos. So soothing for the back, strength building and gets the heart pumping a bit!
Ella Birt Unbearable back pain? No promises, but I am willing to bet this will help: www.telegraph.co.uk/news/health/10479409/The-alkaline-diet-an-alternative-treatment-for-back-pain.html
I have started using this challenge and other yoga with Adriene classes recently and this soon into it- I can already feel a total difference in my looseness physically and a new awareness about myself and my body and how I relate to it. It new, but a shift is occuring. I'm not even trying to make anything happen at this point but to do the yoga and a week or so in and I am already noticing it spilling over into my actions as well. I love how you keep telling us to smile etc. And reminding me that i am in charge of my experience. Thanks Adriene, you are easy to watch and follow and inspiring, supportive and make it seem non scary for a newbie! Yay for Yoga wiht Adriene! See you on Day 5.
Thank you so much Adriene. I am on my second set of 30 day yoga and I love that you have given us a choice for each day. The practices are seriously helping, not only my physical health but my mental health during this COVID lockdown. Thank you again - you are truly inspirational!! x
I actually can't believe that today is my 7th day in a row doing yoga every night (and 4th day of 30 day challenge). I have anxiety, depression and mild insomnia, and I have an exam tomorrow providing me with heaps of extra stress. It is so rare and had for me to commit to anything, especialy if it is physical. Yoga is alsready helping me become stronger, helping my anxiety and my tight back from uncontrollably shaking during attacks. It is so nice to feel this way. It is even starting to get me to shower everyday, and actually take care of my body and what I put in it instead of shoving junk food in it becuase its cheap. I always wanted to start working out and getting fit, especially as I knew that the release of endorphins would be beneficial to my depression, but I never thought I'd feel this good after seven days. Thanks so much Adrienne!! (Also today I finally got my heels down in downward facing dog!!)
I’ve only been doing yoga for around a week now, and I’m already finding things like plank easier than I was before (if I’m doing them right at all lmao). I do these in the evening, and I’ve found I’m looking forward to them all day, this is the first time I’ve ever looked forward to working out! Thank you Adrienne for giving me something to look forward to in the lockdown! 💖
"Listen to what your body is saying" always makes me laugh because my body is pretty much always saying "ow ow ow, please stop doing this." Well, see you in Day 5
Hello four years ago me! I thought i'd let you know that we're going "back to basics" in yoga after developing chronic back pain, but even in spite of that you didn't cry once doing this practice in 2024! In fact, it made you smile. I'm glad you didn't give up
I am so excited to get stronger! It's only day 4 and I already noticed I can synchronise the movements with my breath much better and the flexibility in my legs is coming back slowly to what I used to have! Thank you so much Adrienne! I enjoy your calm voice and the commentary. I find it that I didn't have to look at the monitor as often and it's such a great feeling! You're truly a great instructor :)
Good morning, good morning gee outs great to wake up late, good morning, good morning to you ha!! My mom used to wake us up singing thay song!!! The lower back pain is exactly why I started doing yoga and this was the first video I did a couple weeks ago and have fell in love with it on every video! Love the energy and morning vibes you send out really gets me going in the morning!! The next few days I'll be at the lake in the northern forest super pumped to do some yoga and meditation in the forest as that is where I feel the most connected and at ease! Should be amazing cant wait namaste
I am so excited for this new journey in yoga and thankful i found you, adriene! I feel more flexible, strong, and less stressed only four days in. Your charm, guidance and humor, make you the true face of yoga. allowing everyone and anyone to experience the beauty of what yoga is all about without judgement or intimidation. Thank you!!!!!!!!
Great for back stretches, gentle for most of it, easy to skip and wait where you feel it might be too much. The great thing about Adriene is that she doesn’t push too hard and always seems to give you easier options. Highly recommended if you feel like you need to rediscover your back muscles without hurting yourself.
These videos are a GIFT! I can't believe you provide these amazing practices for free. Budget bound Mom here appreciates them more than words can say. THANK YOU! (My tight back appreciated this one too).
30 days of yoga is helping me so much through quarantine! I was feeling really unmotivated and it was taking it's toll on my mental health, and now I really look forward to my yoga sessions with Adriene because I always feel so much better during and after practice!
I needed this today. I've only been doing it for about a week and already I'm noticing how much better I feel when I do it. I missed the last 2 days because I didn't have time and my back started hurting and I slept on my neck wrong. I know I'll feel so much better tomorrow
You are an inspiration xx
You got this
Im late but this is amazing. Im so proud and hope you are continuing to heal and grow :)
Girl, same! I hope you are feeling better now. I wonder if you completed the full challenge and if it helped you.
Me took😃😃🤗🤗
I do the same!
I like to read the comments before the video so I know what I'm in for 😂
Definitely
I love the fact that adriene still reads these comments even though this video is five years old, it’s so sweet :)
And hearts them at the same time
I very much enjoy the personability of this channel!!
Well fished ❤️
I agree though. What I like most about the videos:
I don’t feel like a loser despite being agile like a titanium beam.
Thanks for your feedback!!!
This is just splendid. Just when you think "this isn't so hard" it's TAKE IT BACK TO PLANK" :-)
Yoga with Adriene is by far the best part of the day! Wish the music at the end lasted just a couple more minutes.
Pat Marrocco Just was in my shavasana and thought the same thing :)
So do i
+Emily Forand Great idea!
@@emilyforand478 the music is "skyline by rob James" but I can't find the instrumental version
Whee!
Jill O'Rourke
Kasia Croken What you said...all of it.
Kasia Croken My favorite is when she says "Don't worry - if you fall, we'll catch you."
+Kasia Croken Ditto to what you said Kasia, Adriene is helping me so much. I enjoy the whole session and no thoughts are in my mind.
+Kasia Croken Yes this. I found the channel 4 days ago when I googled "Yoga for Back pain" Now I'm going though the 30 days of yoga and its helping my anxiety and depression sooo much.
+Kasia Croken i wonder how many others had this same experience when they found adriene, cuz i sure did! :)
Honestly, this series is getting me through the corona lockdown in England. Day 4 and counting!
me too lockdown in Ireland!
Same here! But in Canada. I miss going to the gym so bad, and where I am we just got hit with second winter this morning. Right when I was about to start jogging outside. So having this series to wake up to every morning helps get my heebie jeebies out.
I’m trying to give a purpose to this quarantine! Greetings from Italy
Hannah McLoughlin me too, !
Lilith Hedwig stay safe from us here in England
The moment I heard "life is good" I felt lighter
Me too!
Me too!
I teared up there, quarantine is tough
My god what a pretentious Comment.
I almost cried
+Samantha Jo keep moving forward! all the best :)
+Penny Shores nice man what kind of meditation do you do ? I was thinking about starting transcendantal meditation or something like that
+Mike G I do guided meditation. the honest guys on RUclips help. also any chakra cleansing videos.
+Penny Shores Honest guys are great!!
+Penny Shores video sex
+Mike G It calms and relaxes your mind, which creates a clarity and blissful feeling. Kind of like yoga for the mind
Sending you love and strength, Adelle. xo
Adelle Mulligan brilliant my friend keep your thoughts positive 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I know this is an old comment but I hope you are doing well. I wish you nothing but peace and happiness. The yoga really is relaxing. xD
Does anyone struggle with the cobra too? Going from plank to cobra is never a nice transition to me, I always ending up more or less gracefully falling :/
Emilie N you got this
Work on some upper bod strength
:) a couple of pushups a day would fix it right up, friend!
Then transition differently sometimes my shoulders are acting up so i let my knees go to the floor then go to cobra
Emilie N n9
she goes down slowly and I fall like a potato 😂
I can already feel myself getting stronger on day 4!
Me too! Day 1 I had nothing but knots and I was a little out of breath, but I can definitely tell there's a difference now
infiniteLee yes me too!! day 2 totally kicked my butt! lol
Day 4 flew by so fast.Starting to miss day 2 lol.
Lee & Clementine Me too.
The same here! And also i feel more flexible somehow
I'm always surprised when the session is done. It really flies by!
one thing to appreciate about this virus is that we finally have time to slow down and take on this challenge. i'm just 4 days in and already feeling so much better.
Alex Hobbs Wow! What a lovely compliment and insight to share.
Haha I also just did day 3 and 4 in a row because I didnt want it to stop!
That is such a cute vision, loads of firefighters doing yoga, amazing!
I just opened Day 4 straight after Day 3, decided to read a few comments before starting! (I guess more people than me didnt find Day 3 too gruelling)
Feels like I am working out with a friend. Thanks for being so natural!
I also feel this, and i love that feeling to have a "friend" than a trainer that has no feelings and just say: Come on, come on! WOO... lol
Same for me today :)
"Take responsibility for your own happiness" that was amazing, I'll think about it... thank you Adriene! :)
Feeling pretty blissed out after this one :)
Leanne Coombes Yessss! Good!
+Chanel Welch Well said!!!!
+Leanne Coombes Well, thank you. I always feel super chill after doing Adriene's yoga videos, too. I'm on the 30 Day Yoga Challenge as a new & uplifting journey as well. :D
Congratulations you kept me on something for 4 days
Lucía Barriocanal so trueeee
Damn! Still here too!! 4 days in a row!
Me too
Lucía Barriocanal YOU DID!:)
Me too day 4 life is getting good
First time I've followed a 30 day thing past the first day
+Lauren Crosier Me too :) Keep it up!
+Lauren Crosier me too I am really proud of myself
+Lauren Crosier Same here! And its pretty relaxing. I love this!
yes! I have never done it for so long
Lauren Crosier I am proud of you :) I think this is the second time I have tried these and the first time, I didn't make it past the first day, either.
This is my very favorite Adriane video. I have done it so many times and it never disappoints. Thank you Adriane!
"Good mornin' good morrrnin'"
Hey Adriene! Really enjoying your 30 days of Yoga! I'm determined to see it through! I have Spina Bifida and walk with calipers and crutches so some of the poses are challenging but I do what I can because I love it! I wonder would you ever do a video or series of videos for those who, like me are less capable of moving there legs? Maybe a fully seated yoga? I'm sure people in my position, and many others could benifit! Just an idea! Love your work! Eva :)
I sincerely hope that Adriene makes a small series to help you out. I know it would be beneficial for people.
Thanks Cassiday ! I hope so too!! :)
Hi Eva, The first video of Adriene's I ever watched was Yoga at Your Desk, which is fully seated and feels great! That might be a good start! ruclips.net/video/tAUf7aajBWE/видео.html
hello eva, I'm not sure if it is appropriate for you, but there is aYoga at your desk video , mainly seattted may be this would suite yur needs :)
YOU GO! that's awesome! keep it up !
Tbh my friend and I love your series. Every time you tell us to find your breath or connect to your body we both curse, laugh and keep breathing and trying. That's been the whole theme of this quarantine and honestly you make it so much better. We're all a community now.
Adriene knows my life 😩🙌🏽🙌🏽 she said “even if you’re doing this at night GOOD MORNING” 👏🏽👏🏽 hey Day 4 is still Day 4 anytime, no breaks #consistency
Adriene, I cannot thank you enough. My post partum mental health has been abysmal, but in even just these four days of practice I've noticed how much happier and relaxed I've been. Thank you for sharing your gift with all of us. ❤️
So rare that reading the comments on RUclips actually makes me happier. Loving the positivity!
You're so not alone 💖 I'm trying to get the most out of each practice, and so far, that's meant that I repeat each day 2-3 times.
Lmao piece** but I guess both kinda fit :)
Rafael Gomez We love this right after work. Get some water. Have a light light snack and then hit the mat.
Rafael Gomez Hi My Friend Ralf, soo great to see you on this sight :) I love this in the evenings too, if I didn't get to it during the day, it's a great way to stretch it all out in the evening. Great to see your face! xo
Same!!
Day 4: Feels good listening to my body. This challenge is going great; for whatever reason I've been smiling so much more lately. Blessings, Namaste 😊
Anyone doing this in March 2024 ❤

Yes, me too
Just did 😊
Meeeeee!

I love it! Every session feels shorter.. but it's because I enjoy it so much! I'm like ohh it's already over 😅🙈 thank you for this challenge!
Franzy_Kioka hhahahah I thought I was just imagining that!
Franzy_Kioka yes same!!
I was about to leave a comment saying the same!
Woo! Michigan! That's what I am talking about! High five my mitt with your mitt in the mitt!
I love my mitten state!! ✋🏻

October 2024 here as well
Thanks! Namaste!
Hey I am also in the same place. First time doing yoga and this feels great. We can do this!
Six month ago, I came back to yoga after many years thanks to your 30 Days of Yoga. It was so challenging and frustrating in the beginning. :)
Since then I did the 30 Days twice and the Yoga Camp once.
Thanks for addressing that not all of us can reach our heels to the ground in downward dog, I've been a bit peeved with myself over it.
so much love in these comments!!
I just can't stop it :)
I was searching some yoga postures on RUclips and I came across with one of yours. The moment I heard you saying 'yummy', I subscribed, ever since I am enjoying your yummy videos. ^^ Thanks for all.
Hugs from Istanbul, Turkey
Namaste.
Thank you a million.
adriene: "and we come back to a plank pos-"
me: NoooooOOoO
Svenja Maschke I swearrrr 😭😭
Lmao! same girl
hahahaha yes ! 😂
My wrists: are you sure about that
me too!
Started this during the quarantine and today’s been my favourite day so far 😊
Me too!
Same for me! I enjoyed the new back stretch very much! And the whole flow was an actual flow today, because for the first time I didn't have to look at the monitor every 30s!
Adrienne, I love it when you encourage us to smile throughout the practice, always brightens my mood.
When we moved to downward facing dog I thought to myself "wow my feet are really close to the mat today" then Adriene mentioned that so of course my mind was blown. Im beginning to enjoy this challenge more and more everyday!!
I love clicking the like button when I'm done lol! Namaste
Love your positive energy, keeps me going strong!
See you on day 30!
Adriene, you're the best. Me and my sister love your videos! Never seen a better 30 Days of Yoga Challenge on this planet.
I get sad when the music at the end begins, because it means that my daily yoga practice with Adriene has finished :(
Gabo13M I felt that way on day three and because it was short, I went back and did day 1 again. It was still hard, but easier than my original day one. I felt I needed a bit more that day, even though I’m still a beginner and can’t do it all.
@@nancymarion3417 I know the feeling....is my body in pain??? NOT ENOUGH, bring on round 2.
No promises, but I am willing to bet this will help:

this is making me feel like am really taking care of my body it feels good and relaxing
What a body awakening & love shower was this practice! It's magical to start my days with you, Adriene! Love from Brazil
"Listen to what your body is saying" always makes me laugh because my body is pretty much always saying "ow ow ow, please stop doing this."
Well, see you in Day 5
Flatulence is how mine communicates..
Swindleshoes you so cute
Yesterday:
Adriene "And manifest what you want to happen"
Me "I want this to end very quickly!!!"
My body: *crack* *crunch* *creak*
I'm just done with day 4! So grateful to find something fitness wise that makes me feel good and happy.
What a wonderful, cheerful person you are Adriene, just what I need to start off my day! Thank you so much for your videos ❤️
This is such a perfect program for the quarantine! Gives me a goal every day and a sense of accomplishment!
I was feeling really unmotivated and it was taking it's toll on my mental health, and now I really look forward to my yoga sessions with Adriene because I always feel so much better during and after practice!
who else is here during corona quarantine?
damn right
you know it
Lionysos nice keep it up, we’re gonna make it to day 30! Also check out the show Amsterdam Ave on RUclips if you’re bored, v entertaining
amber shimmel 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
It’s keeping me sane
I needed this today. I've only been doing it for about a week and already I'm noticing how much better I feel when I do it. I missed the last 2 days because I didn't have time and my back started hurting and I slept on my neck wrong. I know I'll feel so much better tomorrow
I love Adrienne's classes. She is funny, yet inspiring. I always feel good after doing a class. Thank you Adrienne!
