I remember Maid of the Loch coming into Luss on a number of occasions between 79 and 81. I had already been on Waverly and my brother was lucky enough to get aboard with a school trip late June 81. The Maid, in her white livery with gold funnel was a magnificent sight and to hear her paddles going was truly amazing. I am so glad that so much is being done to restore her to health. She stopped sailing in 31 August 1981. She almost sank in the 1990's. Thank you everybody, for your efforts!!
Hopefully we will see her sailing on the Loch once again.

As a long time follower of Waverley, I have also known of the Maid since childhood, I was wondering what had happened after the slipway accident and this video is an amazing update. I do hope the funds continue to be available to complete the work.
