We've always felt that food has had the power to connect us, to unite us, and to nourish us. In these difficult times, let's keep learning, listening, and supporting one another. We're beyond grateful to this community. Thank you for being here ♥️🌎
@pickuplimes Can't wait to dive into this video! If you have time, I'd love some help dealing with PCOS. I have alot of information but I'm finding it hard to put meals together. TIA.
Dear Sadia, You have no idea how much you are influencing my life in a positive way.. I still remember, September 2019, i watched- building self confidence- the very first video i watched from PUL, since then you've become a part of my life and whenever i feel down, your videos bring smile on my face, trust me I'm not exaggerating. Now after 9 months, i see huge changes in me - possitivity, minimalism, productivity and so on. Trust me this is not the exact me who i was 9 months ago. I'm really really grateful to you. Loads of love and hugs. Thanks a lot Sadia❤
That was all YOU! I appreciate that you've found the content helpful in some way, but you were the one who was open and receptive to trying new things, and open to putting in the work and being patient with the process 🤗 so thank you!
This is lovely to hear Uththara 🙂 i love reading other people's positivity stories. Its nice to simplify our life & make healthy changes, and take time to acknowledge and be proud of how far you have come 🙂👍💖
Everyone must tell you this but I so very much appreciate the pdfs and being able to print them out and put in my recipe binder!! I started eating all plant based just a little over a month ago after watching only your channel. I've found a couple more favorites as well but I get so excited every time you post something new. Thank you!!
I need to put some gratitude in here real quick, I was about to go on a stupid diet and then I saw your video about intuitive eating and you really just saved my mind and body from a world or hurt, love you 💕
Two hours ago I went inside our room and found my older brother and Mom watching your video about plant propagation and I literally screamed, "Pick Up Limes!". I didn't stop telling them bits of pieces about you from then and then I joined them watch more of your uploads (even though I've watched them already haha!) I don't think I can express my utmost gratitude in this comment but (i'll try) you and the whole PUL team have definitely helped me in a lot of aspects ever since I've found your account. PUL goes beyond providing tips and recipes- it is also a source of inspiration that gets me going and like a friend that I could turn to! Thank you for creating wonderful contents, for this video and your message, especially during times like this. Take care always!
LOVE THIS CHANNEL!! Sadia, in your 9/2017 video - Healthy Productivity Habits - you thanked us for being part of the Pick Up Limes community. You were in disbelief and quite appreciative for 1/2 M subscribers; when you moved into your new studio you had earned 1M subscribers. So happy for you -- 2.86M subscribers now!! Sadia - it is a testament to your vision, your commitment to your content, and your connection to your viewers. Keep doing what you do - we are grateful for you. It is also nice to see Robin 's part in cultivating the Pick Up Limes community.
Marianne, you're the best!! Thanks so much for the enthusiasm and kindness 😄 I'm happy to see Robin's part in it more and more as well, especially now he seems to have some more time for it all :) Lots of love to you!
You know how they say " you eat with your eyes first and then mouth". None of your recipes disappoints in that. You encourage me to make food pretty and color co-ordinated and not just make it for the sake of it :) P.S - missing the "to be mumma" who used to taste recipes with you.. are you going to be an aunt or uncle ;) - Joey tribbiani :D
She's had her little one! Both mumma and baby are well. Because of what's going on in the world, we've only seen the little guy from afar, but we hope to be able to visit him up close some day soon. Thanks for checking in about them ♥️
I surf youtube a lot and I am a sucker for healthy-living videos. Its recently I bumped into your channel and since then I am your fan. Your video, editing, lighting, ambiance, diet, you, your voice, your smile oozes so much positivity, that whenever I feel down I look at any of your videos and I feel good instantly. You encourage me a lot towards a holistic style of living.
Hi Sadia.I'm Krishna from India.I absolutely love your videos and to be honest, I learn a lot from you.I really love your tea time segment because at that time I feel like I am talking to one of my best friends. You are really calm and composed and that makes me feel the same way.Thank you for all your hard work. Lots of love
And we are beyond grateful to you and the whole pickup limes team for putting out content that’s so good. I’ve watched almost all the videos 4-5 times now♥️ Seeing a notification of your video upload make us happy instantly ♥️ Sending love 💯✨♥️
Sadia, Thank you for the time and energy you put into each of your videos. I really appreciate your presence online, the resources you share, and the stance you are taking.
this is going to sound so weird, but i have had a terrible day and i've been feeling so down on myself about how i ate today - a lot of sugar and carbs and it's left me feeling crappy. the moment i started watching this video and i saw how calm and chill and just positive you are about food, i honestly teared up. thank you for everything that you do sadia, i don't think you will ever know just how much you help so many people
Thank you for standing in solidarity newly vegetarian for gastro reasons and came across your channel Months ago for inspiration and guidance and I found it not only are you real and down-to-earth by U also note the science behind it and encourage your viewers to take their time thank you for standing in solidarity as a black woman Haitian descent phD student going into my 2nd year this Has been a lot still is really in coming to this video for nourishment and ways I can eat well even with a busy schedule to 1st see support for issues that are affecting my community is amazing and so appreciated
Yes!! I've been cooking a lot of bowls for my family, but we're getting pretty tired of eating the same combination of veggies every night, so this video came at the perfect time!
I keep visiting your channel and repeat watching the videos once in a while as just watching you, listening to your voice, seeing the colours, food, your kitchen and presentation is so so therapeutic... Thank you so much Sadia for all the efforts.I cannot tell you how much heeling effect your content has 😊
If this isn't the best way to end a long work day, I don't know what would be! Your videos ALWAYS make me so happy! The ideas, your personality, the editing, the scenery(your plants are fabulous!)...I could not imagine a better combination! I am also incredibly proud of all you've achieved in the past few years. Having followed the journey makes me feel even more connected :D As per usual, sending you all the love! Stay safe and positive in all these craziness going on! P.S. Obviously, going to leave more than one comment as I always have something to add...and want to hel the algorithms :D
Without any disrespect to Pick Up Limes because they're amazing and make wonderful food but if you're having trouble getting started start I highly recommend Cheap Lazy Vegan. Everything she makes is super accessible and simple to throw together and makes me think "Ohhh yeah I can do that!“. She doesn't exclusively do super healthy food but lots are (which I think is realistic to how I actually eat) here is a link to her playlist of recipe videos ruclips.net/p/PLr1A8WQbpv2DHe4FYxH42DNWwRy0atu6k&feature=share best of luck with your cooking adventures. It seems like a lot of work at first but after a couple of weeks I get into a routine and then it seems like normal 😊
I’m a high school teacher in Canada and I show your website to my Geography 12 Students in my agricultural section... what you do is so important.... thank you for making delicious food approachable, and desirable.... they all love it and many now follow you on Instagram.... keep making these great videos... they students are learning a lot from you!
Another beautiful + inspiring post. The fact that you don't lean heavily on soy (which I can't eat), has made your videos a major inspiration for me to dive deeper into vegan meals. In the past, I have appreciated that your videos usually limit soy based meals to 1 out of 3. I so love your inspiration to try new protein sources and food combinations, especially whole grains. Nourish bowls have opened a whole new world of discovery for me, with so much flexibility possible. Your sauces keep me from getting bored with my go-to combos, and are definitely my favorite part of your meals.
I made the black bean garlic tofu today for dinner! I added some hard boiled egg for extra protein and some dried seaweed for extra flavor. It was amazing!!! Thank you for creating and sharing these awesome recipes❤️
Sadia, thank you so much for making a statement about what's going on in the world right now and linking us to all the great resources you recommend. It is a really difficult time in the world but I think if we work together making deliberate choices, learning and consciously acknowledging our own biases and speaking up when we see injustice, a better future is possible for all of us. On another note, the recipes look amazing as always!!! I knew a video must be coming today because I was on your website meal section looking for recipes and noted the new recipes and the youtube times tagged :) as always so happy to have another one of your positive videos to light up the whole world! Lots of love and hugs from Stuttgart
Dear Sadia, thank you for sharing resources to support the fight against racial injustice and also for sharing your knowledge about healthy living with us, you are loved! God bless you and your family!
I just donated to The Loveland Foundation! I am also an Ohioan like Rachel Cargle. Thank you for introducing me to this cause, I am a big proponent of therapy.
It feels sooo good to listen to you ..its so calm and relaxing... One thing I noticed in this video... normally we cannot see you much in the middle of the video when you are making some dishes.. In this video we saw you in the middle of dish making explaining about the dish..so it completed the video🤩 ..listening to you and looking at you with beautiful smile ..Love you Sadia!!!😍😘❤️
During these difficult times, may we all stand together, and for each other.. Everytime I visit your Insta feed or your YT channel, I always feel empowered.. Thank you for creating this beautiful PUL community, Sadia! 🤗 Such wholesome nourish bowls..I'm excited to try the different dressings u shared..😊 Sending u lots of love..❤️❤️ - Uthra
I switched to being a vegan recently and someone suggested I watch your channel. I absolutely love your videos not just because of the content but because it's almost therapeutic to watch anything you post! Thanks for existing! Sending all my love
I love you so much ❤️ I’m going through a really tough time after my sister tested positive for COVID 19 and I don’t know if i have it too and because of that i hated everything and stayed away from the internet except your videos ❤️
One of my daughters had it and she's absolutely fine now. She is 19 and I don't think young people get it all that badly so I'm sure your sister will be fine.
Sadia, I really appreciate your foreword. I use many of your recipes. Your granola recipes are my breakfast staples. Thank you for your voice and work on pick up limes!
Wow I’m early!! I’m just sitting here, watching pickuplimes while eating a creamy pasta pickuplimes recipe and having pickuplimes fudge ball bites as dessert
Love the bloopers at the end, and those bowls look super yummy. My husband and I have been getting into making bowls for dinner lately. It's so versatile, delicious and you get everything in one bowl! Thanks for the ideas.
Hi, Sadia! I'm your subscriber from Indonesia and when u mention "sambal uleg" at 1:09 i was amazed bcs of the wide range and diversity of your meal prep😀 Sambal is common here and also in other SEA countries, so does tempeh and tofu. Always loving your content, keep inspiring❤
Sadia, one of your resources is Baratunde Thurston and I love him - he’s so hilarious. If anyone would like to delve into this topic but it feels heavy for them*, they should also check out his book How to be Black (published 2012). It’s SO FUNNY and was one of the books that made me feel way less alone. (* well... get over it honestly. I mean it’s way heavier to live through! but you know what I mean.)
Hi miss Sadia! I am now 21 but when I was 20 I decided to change my life for the better. I decided to become a vegetarian. Your videos were my first inspirations. Also, I got to listen to audiobooks because of you and they brought change to me. So much love from Philippines! Continue your good work!
You truly deserve every like that you got! I think I don’t only speak for myself, when I say that your videos are so inspirational. And so cool that you’re using your platform to take a stand against institutional and systematic racism. Enjoy your Sunday! ☺️
Why it has never occurred to me to cook rice in coconut milk (even though rice pudding is a thing!?) is a mystery to me. Will definitely be trying that ASAP!
I recommend steaming your rice with whole garlic cloves or lime leaf or lemongrass (or any combination of these) tossed in there for extra ‘perfume’ :D
May I just say we never hear enough about parsnips! They are not the prettiest veg, but once cooked, are sweet, and I love the texture when oven-roasted. These are all lovely recipes, thanks Sadia, I will incorporate them into my new regimen
I want to try these, especially the sauces. I also need to remember to try soaking my grains. I did learn (from Dr. Greger) that cutting up broccoli at least 45 minutes ahead of time hugely increases absorption of important nutrients. I may have the details wrong, but I remember that it's important. 😀
Your videos are always beautiful and exactly the lightness we need during these heavy times. Thank you for sharing this. The recipes are fabulous and as always I'm jealous of the gorgeous kitchenware! Sending light and love.
Dear Sadia Absolutely love these recipes and all your recipes. They have really helped me with my current weight loss plan.3 stone so far. And a very positive life style change. I have found I am so much more calmer, focused and positive. The procrastination has totally gone. Thank you for the inspiration🙏.
Too early for dinner and I'm starving after watching this. They all look amazing. Tofu in black bean sauce tonight for me with bok choy, maybe with rice though, no soba noodles on hand.
Sadia and Pick Up Lime Friends, I love your channel more and more every time I watch them. You really are making the world a better, healthier place. Thank You!
Sadia! Everything about you is very soothing to hear. Your voice, presentation, cooking and recipes; all of them put on a whole new basket of healthy, blissful and peaceful lifestyle. The food that can actually motivate you to do things. As they say, it all comes from the stomach and functions through the whole body: that's you! I have started living a healthy lifestyle just by watching YOUR videos! I was very much not a whole grain, whole wheat, or anything like a WHOLE foods person, BUT!! just by watching how YOU make all these stuff with love, creativity, art and special importance to HEALTH; I've begun living a healthy life since 1st October, 2020. Thank You!! :) (also kudos to the content creators for immaculate and creative presentation!! ) With Love, AAISH OLI
Thank you for standing in solidarity for black lives. We appreciate you. We love your show and all the food we have made with your recipes have been phenomenal. Thank you. Keep up your amazing recipes and videos on caring for plants.
Thankyou so much for sharing healthy recipes...Its hard to stay away from junk food, but your vlogs make it seemingly easier. Also, love the fact that you share all positive aspects of a wholesome life. I have been inspired to bullet journal from you !
Nourish bowls are actually the best thing for a easy, healthy and delicious meal! They’re my go to for low waste cooking too! I’m doing plastic free June on my channel and I think I’ll have to give one of these a go!
That is a wonderful timing for some Nourish Bowl recipes! I can't wait to try these, they look absolutely delicious, yum! Thank you for continuing to inspire us to eat well :) I especially love seeing new cooking ideas, like adding bullion cubes to the grains or using various condiments to add flavors. It always makes me want to try these out! It makes eating healthy not only feel - well, healthy - but also fun and exciting :)
I can picture Robin falling in love with Sadia over and over again. She's such a delight to listen to. Love the way she says "creamy" for some reason and makes me wanna do all those nourish bowls
I have to say, I’m pregnant and have decided to become vegan and your videos have been so inspiring and made it look so easy! I’m definitely enjoying my new food journey, thank you for your videos 💜
It's 3:20 am in India, saw Sadia's notification...and I had to see the video...I am a fan of your simplicity and elegance..thank you for making such lovely videos ☺️🌈
OK here’s an easy way to open a jar you are having a hard time opening. Take a butter knife slip it under the lid at the rim where the lid and glass meet and just gently twist. The lid will pop and then you’ll be able to easily open it.
I give the bottom a few good smacks, then take a butter knife and lightly tap all the way around the lid of the jar. Then I smack the bottom again just to be sure
Love, love, LOVE your videos, flexible recipes and gorgeous presentation, oh, and your cookware, too. Thanks for being a positive voice and roll model, especially during this time of worldwide upheaval 💛
Hey Sadia! I'm honestly so in love with your videos, so far I've tried 90% of your recipes. I was just wondering, could you possibly do a video of a 3-meal day plan for uni students? Like quick and easy meals to make that are very beneficial for the mind and keep you awake during lectures. Thank you!!
This PUL notification is the kind of positivity we all need right now! + I'm glad you're using your platform to defend important matters like this! Thank you!
I get mine at Albert Heijn, store brand. “Bouillon Bospaddestoel” in a purple carton, so sar only supermarket here that I’ve found it. It’s exceptionally tasty, gives that good umami flavor and isn’t as wishy washy as some vegetable stock cubes can be.
As a fellow Canadian, also living abroad but opposite you in New Zealand, I find you persona, ideas, and recipes refreshing. Keep up the good work. From my ❤️ to your ❤️.
I am so glad I found your RUclips on how to eat healthy! Thank you for giving so much love and truth to help us eat properly and have a wonderful healthy life!
I'm really glad I subscribed to your channel. I tried veganism for a month, and gave up because there was a lot going on in my life. I couldn't get back to it because I was stuck with my family during lockdown, and just preparing separate meals seemed such a hassle. But now, I'm certain I'll get back to a healthy vegan lifestyle, starting today. Thank you, Sadia!
We've always felt that food has had the power to connect us, to unite us, and to nourish us. In these difficult times, let's keep learning, listening, and supporting one another. We're beyond grateful to this community. Thank you for being here ♥️🌎
@pickuplimes

okay can we appreciate the effort put in these videos and the fact they are doing this during a pandemic ❤️❤️❤️❤️
It's just not the bowls that are nourishing, It's also her persona :)
Yes. She is the epitome of loveliness... That's why she has so many views... She is humble, yet poised.
I find her voice to be incredibly calming...so I've been watching a couple videos every night. Gotta get cooking tho!
So true. Love her
@The Crunch Factor I totally agree beautiful souls both of them, they bring me joy xx
She is literally a goddess in the kitchen, I love her energy and enthusiasm and her free and easy laugh in the out takes 💖
Ok I know she put those bloopers in the end to appear human but we aren’t fooled...she is a goddess 🥰
you are one of the only influencers that actually influences me

I switched to being a vegan recently and someone suggested I watch your channel. I absolutely love your videos not just because of the content but because it's almost therapeutic to watch anything you post! Thanks for existing! Sending all my love
I love you so much ❤️ I’m going through a really tough time after my sister tested positive for COVID 19 and I don’t know if i have it too and because of that i hated everything and stayed away from the internet except your videos ❤️
I wish your sister you and your family well.hope you will get through this
My thoughts are with you both, wishing your sister a speedy recovery ❤️ sending lots of love right back!
My wishes and prayers to your sister recover soon ..and loads of love and strength to you to get through this phase .. ❤️
One of my daughters had it and she's absolutely fine now. She is 19 and I don't think young people get it all that badly so I'm sure your sister will be fine.
Prayers for speedy recovery
Sadia, I really appreciate your foreword. I use many of your recipes. Your granola recipes are my breakfast staples. Thank you for your voice and work on pick up limes!
Wow I’m early!! I’m just sitting here, watching pickuplimes while eating a creamy pasta pickuplimes recipe and having pickuplimes fudge ball bites as dessert
Love the bloopers at the end, and those bowls look super yummy. My husband and I have been getting into making bowls for dinner lately. It's so versatile, delicious and you get everything in one bowl! Thanks for the ideas.
I've made all three of these and they were all so amazing! Thank you so much for the awesome recipes :)
I appreciate the new resource Lindsay, I actually hadn't heard of that one before - I'm adding to my reading list 🤗 thank you!
Hi miss Sadia! I am now 21 but when I was 20 I decided to change my life for the better. I decided to become a vegetarian. Your videos were my first inspirations. Also, I got to listen to audiobooks because of you and they brought change to me. So much love from Philippines! Continue your good work!
You're back! Oh how much I've missed you Sadia and pick up limes! Your community loves you💖!
You truly deserve every like that you got! I think I don’t only speak for myself, when I say that your videos are so inspirational. And so cool that you’re using your platform to take a stand against institutional and systematic racism. Enjoy your Sunday! ☺️
Wow! I purchased tempeh last week and wondering what I should do with it. Thanks 😘 for the timely recipe
Came for the recipes but instead ended up watching the docs and TED Talks first. Just couldn't stop. Thanks a lot, Sadia.♥
Hi Sadia, I've always wanted to say that all of your videos inspire me so much. Supporting you non-stop ❤️👏🏻
All three of these look amazing!! I almost don't want to go away for the weekend so I can stay home and try these recipes😋
Your videos are always beautiful and exactly the lightness we need during these heavy times. Thank you for sharing this. The recipes are fabulous and as always I'm jealous of the gorgeous kitchenware! Sending light and love.
These are seriously good nutrition ! as well as colorful and tasty looking. Awesome nourishment.
Dear Sadia
Absolutely love these recipes and all your recipes.
Thank You!

I request tea time Tuesday video 🥰
I can picture Robin falling in love with Sadia over and over again. She's such a delight to listen to. Love the way she says "creamy" for some reason and makes me wanna do all those nourish bowls

OK here’s an easy way to open a jar you are having a hard time opening. Take a butter knife slip it under the lid at the rim where the lid and glass meet and just gently twist. The lid will pop and then you’ll be able to easily open it.
Or run the side of the lid under hot water! The air inside the jar expands (and builds up pressure) and makes it easier to unscrew
I think this is the best and most economical (no wasted water) method ever! I swear by it as well!
Omg i needed you last week for opening a jar of coconut oil!
fool proof method, bang the rim of the lid gently on the countertop, this releases the seal
U sound soo good. I feel so relaxed looking at you 😊
Grateful that you stand in solidarity. Heart filled!
Hi i am your fan from Indonesia, actually the sambal "ulek" is pronounced like
u = the u in Udon

Feel happy to know you aare indonesia. So am i
@@muspidafida2054 hello fellow indonesian 😁
Hello. Happy to know we have the same favorite youtuber
Hey Sadia! I'm honestly so in love with your videos, so far I've tried 90% of your recipes. I was just wondering, could you possibly do a video of a 3-meal day plan for uni students? Like quick and easy meals to make that are very beneficial for the mind and keep you awake during lectures. Thank you!!
Your channel makes me think I could actually be a vegetarian. Some day ;-)
This PUL notification is the kind of positivity we all need right now! + I'm glad you're using your platform to defend important matters like this! Thank you!
Where did you buy the mushroom bouillon?
I get mine at Albert Heijn, store brand. “Bouillon Bospaddestoel” in a purple carton, so sar only supermarket here that I’ve found it.
It’s exceptionally tasty, gives that good umami flavor and isn’t as wishy washy as some vegetable stock cubes can be.
I’ve seen them on amazon
@@_JoyceArt that one contains lactose and is not vegan. I have been searching in The Netherlands for vegan mushroom bouillon but I can not find it :(
Joes ten Thij ahh, apologies. I was so excited to have information for you.
I appreciate the effort
As a fellow Canadian, also living abroad but opposite you in New Zealand, I find you persona, ideas, and recipes refreshing. Keep up the good work. From my ❤️ to your ❤️.
WE HAD TO STUDY THE POEM"I KNOW WHY THE CAGED BIRD SINGS BY MAYA ANGELOU" FOR OUR BOARD EXAMS AND THAT WAS MY FAVOURITE POEM !!!
I am so glad I found your RUclips on how to eat healthy! Thank you for giving so much love and truth to help us eat properly and have a wonderful healthy life!
When I will become vegan, you will be one of the reason
I'm really glad I subscribed to your channel. I tried veganism for a month, and gave up because there was a lot going on in my life. I couldn't get back to it because I was stuck with my family during lockdown, and just preparing separate meals seemed such a hassle. But now, I'm certain I'll get back to a healthy vegan lifestyle, starting today.
Thank you, Sadia!
