I get goosebumps when that slide comes in; every time.
Amen!
Facts!
it the bass guitar
No doubt
One of the most talented musicians, ever! They will be listening to his music 100 years from now!
God I hope you're right and I really think you are….
I never tire of listening to David Gilmour play guitar. Watching him play is even better.
Listening to music is always better than watching music.
To me, this song is an all time great in the history of music. I will never ever tire of hearing it.
I was 12 when I heard this song for the first time on TV, I had never heard anything about Pink Floyd and I remember that they passed their video on the local TV and I just froze and marveled listening to the TV since I had never heard anything so Hermso like that and I asked my parents if they knew the band and they told me not to try so long to find out who those people were that even speaking a language that I didn't know touched the deepest part of my soul until one day as if by a Caprice of destiny was listening to the radio and there I heard a voice that said: `` Now we are going to listen to a song by Pink Floyd from his last album and it began to sound, I can not describe the emotion I felt that day finally knowing the name of the song band and that song, since that day I never got away from Pink Floyd
Whoever said "Clapton is God" never heard David Gilmour.
Because Gilmour hadn't recorded a note when that was written on a wall.
Yes...
@@joelmarksbury4376 touche'
Well I love them both. Cannot take anything away from any of them!
when Clapton was god we didnt have Dave Gilmour
The solo on this always makes me cry.
Yeap.. gets me every time as well...
Kel’s reaction is exactly what David Gilmour was looking for when he wrote High Hopes. I’m glad she got it. No one can make it cry and sing like David Gilmour. Every note, every bend of the strings is always perfectly placed and held for just the right amount of time. Perfection...
The song that got me somewhat into Floyd, level 100 on the nostalgia scale. This live version is just phenomenal!
Do you already have (or do you even need) a translator for any Scandinavian languages?
Enchanting. Never get bored with Pink Floyd.
Enchanting, that's perfect.
This song is amazing!!!
The Entire Division Bell is Amazing...!
So quintessentially English , even down to the division bell. I saw Floyd play dark side of the moon live at Knebworth Park in the 70's, and it imprinted on my soul. Please react to more Floyd
Oh my Gosh, Kel n Rich! I've never seen or heard this before, so I experienced it with you. It made me cry, laugh, and smile. David played so perfectly, note for note. Slide for slide. Flawlessly, going back and forth between acoustic and slide, was the work of a master. Thank you soooooo much!
Mike Gordon jealous that it was your first time listening to that epic song!
@@chrisbayliss3532 don't be too jealous. I heard the whole Division Bell many times. I bought it when it was released in 94. Then I heard the song live when I saw Pink Floyd for the second time on July 12, 1994. What I didn't hear before Kel N Rich was this live studio recording. It's amazing!
Bro you have a mustang?
Tip, you don't need 4 spaces between everything.
@@OriginalPuro ??
Pink Floyd world record 917 weeks on billboard top 200 for dark side of the moon. It happened during the 70's 80's and 90's.
I had the pleasure of seeing the Division Bell tour. Gilmour is my favorite guitarist - even as a metal head. Great choice!
Agreed 10000%🤘🤘🤟🤟
I have never known this performance, thanks for sharing guys. David Gilmour is of Legendary status.
That's the best version I've heard. His voice is better at that moment than it ever has. 👏
I sincerely think that of all the versions of this piece that I have heard, this is the best: balance of the instruments, delicacy of the interpretation, and above all the best final solo... incomparable!
A absolute masterpiece. The goosebumps are FLOWING.
You guys are couples goals, you are so amazing to each other and it doesn’t hurt that you guys love music probably as much as I do! Keep making great videos because you have a fan for life🥰
music.....food of love...play on...rock on....
And let's not forget Davids voice!!! He has an amazing voice!
I think he's becoming a stronger singer more now than he was when younger.
Truly a beautiful piece of music , how blessed are we to hear this man and have him in our times
Not many songs can bring tears to my eyes. This is is right at the top of the list. David Gilmour is a musical genius.
Wow! First time hearing this version. Awesome! Great reaction, guys!
OMG! Absolutely beautiful! I can never hear this song enough! Thank you for this one✌❤
I zoned out when he started playing the slide, and then I looked up and Kel was staring at me feeling it too. lol, love you guys!
One of the most underrated solo’s in rock history in my opinion, I wish people would mention it more often as one of the greats of all time
David's voice keeps getting better the older he gets. WOW 👏
2 years later, i seriously hope you two still look at each other like that.
Its still beautiful to see.
Still love yall.
I love many, many wonderful guitarists, but none of them can touch my soul the way Gilmour does. Nice version! Never heard it before. Now I'm gonna go get in a suit, eat some baked beans and listen to Wintersun! ;)
Garvs23 someone mentioned something about farts, so have the Lysol close by.😉
Try listening to English band Camel and the live version of Ice. Andrew latimer is a brilliant guitarist
@@swinetrek Así es, Gilmour y Latimer tocan con un sentimiento especial.
El tema Ice, los últimos minutos del tema Lawrence, o el solo de Long Goodbyes son puro sentimiento.
Saludos desde Argentina
Thank you for playing this version. I had never seen it before. So amazing.
what that man can do with strings is unreal love you guys and still sing, and write.
love you two 💞
Kell's passion has gotten me to smile and thrill to her discovery's. thx for sharing.
I love this song from the first listening. Gilmore at his absolute best.
It's GILMOUR
I am still amazed at how good Pink Floyd are, and that quiet unassuming musical genius that is David Gilmour still astonishes me with his talent, even after all this time I never get tired of hearing them, just amazing people.
David Gimour, a musician's musician. :-)
Richard Wright, the keyboardist whose somber, monumental sounds were at the core of Pink Floyd’s art-rock that has sold millions and millions of albums, died Monday in London, where he had lived. He was 65.This is from 2008........David Gilmour is still alive!
I've loved pink Floyd since I was a kid growing up to my mom listening to them and then nearly about 3 years ago I started listening to this song alot when I was in hospital and feeling down and depressed about what I went through with my motorbike accident and the loss of family members
Gilmour. Breathtaking.
'The endless River' lyric hits me every time.
David Gilmour is in my opinion the most tasteful, graceful and masterful guitarist to bless the world with his art.
Goodamn, I've never seen this before. I love The Division Bell so much.
I have never heard this version before, I would be hard pressed to say which version I love most. The Pulse HD version is spectacular but this one was perfect.
7:18 Way to make me feel like a third wheel on your date :(
Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode with the public display of affection
I'm sorry... Eric Clapton is a great Guitarist... but David Gilmour is a Genius... His sound is unique and so pretty innovative... Thanks to Pink Floyd to compose this pieces of arts...
100%. I could have a thousand lessons and learn the guitar fluently and play the guitar just as good as Gilmore. However!! However many times I learn, I could never have the musical creativeness that Gilmore had. You just don’t learn that, you are born with that.
@@Niuway44 "just as good as gilmour". doubt. idc how much you practice
This is just perfection
Ahh david gilmour one of the most soulfull guitarist to ever grace our presence
That performance brought tears. It was spot-on to the original recording. It took me back to another time in my life.
I love you both, it is nice seeing reactions not only for the music but I see the love you have for each other and it is like a breath of fresh air when I watch you two. God bless you .May your son be in heaven rockin ' with them all.
The silence after Gilmour is still Gilmour ...
The one and only david gilmour... kinda has a way of setting a mood, an ambiance. Often imitated, never duplicated, Pink Floyd. This band I truly love. It's my "desert island" band. I wouldnt need any other music. Good luck on the translators, and book sales. Let's get the word out. Love you guys. Keep 'em coming!
*Gilmour
@@chrisricciardi3812 thanx
Hadn't seen this clip before, thanks for sharing - and another great reaction:)
oh my god that end with the violins was spine tingling
A master class in songwriting and playing
Gilmour best ever..! So much emotion in every note.. listen to this same song on the pulse concert..
It just goes to show you. You don't have to be fast and flashy to be a masterful guitarist. David Gilmour proves that time and time again even while he's gaining on his years he's still can sing like he always did and still can play that guitar as masterful as he always did
No musician touches my soul like Mr Gilmour. He is such a gifted man.
Sammy Beck it’s often about the spaces you leave rather than how many notes you can use. Dave Gilmour is a master of space
@@iandenney776 actually what makes him stand out from other guitarists is he is the king of string bending. He knows how to bend the strings, when to bend the strings. That's how he makes his guitar sing. That's what makes him unique, that's what makes him one of my favorite guitarist
The Pulse version of this has both the sound of this plus the energy of the crowd, where David always takes his songs to another level
For me the Pulse version will always be the definitive version, there's something magical about that stage performance. But I really appreciate this version too; there's an honesty and vulnerability about it. The musicians are exposing themselves because it's so stripped-down, and that acoustic outro he added in the 2006 tour just takes you to another place. Thank you for the reaction.
Loved Bob Ross. When my daughter was born, I was Mr. Mom for her first year, and I used to rock her for her nap while watching "the painter guy". You know that you cannot buy a Bob Ross original painting. They'll have shows with his art, but they'll never sell them.
My daughter was one of the people Kel helped. Only a half hour video session 3 months ago and it really helped my daughters TMJ. So I can attest that her technique works.
Kel, I can help with pig-Latin.
Great reaction to a great song! Fantastic that you're writing that book Kel, I was a Ayurvedic Massage therapist for 18 years and also taught it around the US, so I can really appreciate what you're doing , all the best!
memories of a concert of 1988 in front of the castle of Versailles. great show sounds and lights.
to see at least once in his life, sure
"Silky Gold" hell yeah it is!
A pure masterclass
Amazing Song!!! The 'Pulse' version is my favorite.
Pink floyd songs and visuals bring back to my childhood memories
beautiful
What a song ! As only David Gilmour and that voice could sing ! Stunning, and a personal fav of mine.
Thank you for sharing. Chills everytime !

@@Kel.N.RichReactions BIG THANKS for the reply all the way from rainy England 🤘😁🤘
One of the BEST song PF had ever done. A great story in this song. I absolutely love you listened to something a bit off the beaten path of PF. Also helps there is nothing but pure love in your eyes. Thank you for this reaction
Your mentioning "space" in the music reminded me of hearing a very old interview with Gilmour in which he talked about just how vital Richard Wright was in shaping their music. He was always preaching letting it breathe....which led to slower, "more airy" sections in most of their music.
That one note makes me openly weep every time I hear it
Exquisite without doubt nuff said. Flawless and
Perfect
Freaking Beautiful.
The absolute best couple on youtube!!!!! You both are awesome!!!!
Hey pal. It’s because of people like you that we find so much joy each day. We will never stop transmitting our love and fun through the screen and eventually on site across the world. 5 year plan!!!! More soon!!!!! Love ya man. KnR
I love Pink Floyd,,and I love Kel N' Rick🙌❤🌺🤗🥀
Love David Gilmour and Bob Ross! Thanks for the great reaction!
"Every note was perfect."
THAT'S David Gilmour! He's not flashy or fancy but every note is delicious and you want to hear the next one!
In my very humble, very grateful opinion...this is my favorite David Gilmore performance. From my #1 guitarist, my all-time favourite song! I absolutely love this!
I could listen to Gilmore on strings all day.
Going back to the amplifird acoustic at the end adds to the feel of the song. Turning into my favorite Floyd tune.
What a beautiful comment heart felt and honest from probably the best band in the world
Love your choice 💗
I didn`t know what to watch, David Gilmour or your interaction, that was sweet :)
The song to leave us with high hopes in the beginning and in the end. Saw it live in '94 with what began as a light sprinkle and led to hurricane conditions in the end. And yet the concert and conditions made it a perfect metaphor for this song as we the felt the exhilaration of the beginning and made it through the journey with highs and lows to an almost satisfying end (had to cut it short). In the whole, so prophetic and poetic! Yes I still remember the slide guitar sending chills right through me, had to wipe my eyes, as he played it. Or maybe it's what was in the air that night?...another story. Thanks again guys!
A masterpiece of a song!
Hearing David Gilmour play live is the most emotional thing ever!!! I bursted into tears and made my wife wonder if I was ok.....yeah, I was the best I ever could hope to be in that moment!!! ❤️🙂🙂🙂
Thank You!!!
Sublime. musicaly simple yet tough to fing more soulful players that can create such array of colour.. ty for sharing
The drummer never stops smiling. I know he's thinking "How lucky am I?"
Just Brilliant! Steve
Epic👏👏👏
A friend of mine and I used to sit in her car n listen to the radio. I heard the first bell ... told her to listen.
After the song she solemnly said, "That's the best song I've ever heard!"
Now it happend again!!! Every time i see you guys react to Pink floyd i see your joy and i burst into tears... sh..t .. :-)
I share your love for Pink Floyd, when it comes to Floyd no other can compare. Pink Floyd is a genre all their own. Great video. Oh and thanx for not cutting and pausing the hell out of it.
Pink floyd high hopes song is my favorite song that is my jam on back on day
As much as I love the slide guitar in every version I’ve seen by far the best part in this version is the very last acoustic part with the keyboards so much beauty in this part it’s a masterpiece truly beautiful and it’s also etched on both your faces as well brilliant reaction 1 of my favourite all time 👍
Amazing!
And oh man, that classical style music ending. Like Kel said, every note is perfectly placed. Just pure perfection.
So emotional, i was on the Airport in Auckland NZ 1995 on Xmas days on my way back to germany, high hopes play in the Backround in the moment i say good by to my american girlfriend. Always my faforit.
