- After Amber Heard has come out to explain her mistreatment and injustice during and after the trial against her ex husband Johnny Depp in an exclusive interview with NBC, Piers Morgan invites civil rights attorney Lisa Bloom to debate whether this interview was a good look for her. Lisa admits it wasn't the best idea but she thinks that Amber and Johnny were abusive to each other and so she feels sympathy for her. Piers agrees that the interview was a 'train-wreck' and also poses the question of if Johnny Depp lost the trial, would he be allowed such a platform to be allowed to preach about being a victim.

I watched the trial from start to finish. She was caught out in so many lies - photoshopped photos, the crying with dry tears, the tapes taunting him repeatedly, the tapes were she admitted to starting physical fights.

I honestly think that the people who are still backing Amber Heard and think she has been treated unfairly did not watch the trial at all. They did not hear the audio tapes, they didn't hear the testimony of the witnesses and the experts and they definitely did not watch the cross examinations. Saying the jury were swayed by social media is disrespectful to the justice system and the court. She is implying that they broke their oath. And saying that it was impossible to stay away from the trial is also a bit ridiculous and shows how arrogant she is. I know plenty of people who didn't watch the trial, haven't seen any clips of the trial and I'm fact don't even know there was a trial at all. The world did not stop for this trial. And on top of that the jury voted against Amber unanimously. That's means they all agreed on the verdict. It is bloody difficult to get 7 people to agree on a pizza and these 7 people all agreed that she was lying. She just needed one person to believe her and they didn't. As for the Amber saying social media influenced this trial, we'll maybe she shouldn't have had her lawyers bring social media into the trial in the first place. Who told the jury about the hash tags and the social media following of Justice for Johnny? That was Amber's team. They had an expert come in and talk about the stats for God's sake. And lastly, people watched this trial on the live feed. Not just clips on social media. It's all out there for people to go and see for themselves. I dare anyone to go and watch her cross-examination and the unbelievable amount of times when she lied blatantly on the stand, when she contradicted herself and the proof is laid out in front of her that what she did and said was the complete opposite of what was recorded as evidence and tell me they still feel she was treated unfairly. The woman is clearly mentally unstable.

The reason AH cannot wrap her head around the jury abiding by the oath they took is because Amber would never be able to abide by any oath she would take. For instance, AH taking her oath to tell the truth in a court of law. Obviously she had lots of trouble with that herself.

She DID make a career out of victimhood. Aside from the main article, the online version, and her tweets, she did several PAID podcasts discussing it over those 6 yrs. Speaking and hosting “jobs” were paid, not pledged, $35K and up. Defaming her Ex and being a victim was a side gig for her, and a whole movement pushed her along without question.
The jury took an oath not to watch TV in reference to the trial or go on social media to research the trial.

She just took it to another level when she would start things and hit him.
When Johnny lost the UK trial he was cast aside. He lost absolutely everything- 6 years of torture. Not a single media interviewed or gave him a platform to express himself. Why only her because she's a woman. It's few women like these who feel sad for her. I really hope she is sued again and again till she disappears.

I watched the trial and was fully expecting it to be difficult to know who was lying and I was completely wrong. I’m happy it was televised so everyone could see for themselves what an utter liar and piss poor actress she truly is.

@@aacreations17 That’s BS. I followed this Situation even before the UK trial and during the UK trial entirely. The UK trial was a sham and Depp was completely railroaded. The Judge ignored conclusive evidence by Depp and wouldn’t even allow Depp to present other evidence in rebuttal to verbal allegations made in the trial. Amber and her friends during deposition contradicted themselves repeatedly. Rocky Pennington’s own attorney had to check Rocky about lying during actual recorded deposition. The Judge was compromised and refused to recuse themselves. One of the attorneys representing the Sun was actually good friends with the Judge’s wife and rolled in the same social circles. The Judge’s own son worked for the Sun media company and had close ties to Dan Wootton. The Judge himself ruled against the Sun in a previous case and the Sun went on a smear campaign against the Judge almost ruining his career. So the Judge never should’ve resided over that case and suspiciously wouldn’t recuse himself. Then the Judge’s reasoning for ruling against Depp was ridiculous. One his reasons is that, “Amber heard couldn’t be this monster because she had donated all of her settlement money to charity, which we all know was a lie and Depp wasn’t allowed to present evidence to refute it. Heard’s team again petitioned to Judge Penny, to use to UK verdict and judge Penny expresses the same concerns as the fairness of the UK verdict, and even told them that was a different trial and Amber was not the defendant in the trial, but just a witness, and her defamation claims were made after the filing of the UK lawsuit. Get your facts straight.

That said, even watching a funny video could have swayed them. Those funny videos were in Johnny’s favor, not Amber’s, and that is pretty evident. The whole point of them not seeing social media is so that the conclusion they come to is STRICTLY their own opinion, entirely uninfluenced by anyone and anything else. It doesn’t have to be a serious video or a video about abuse to have the potential to be influential. Just the mere fact that they saw a video that someone was in favor of Johnny in a comical non-serious way could alter their perception of what they are observing in trial. The funny videos were either primarily making fun of Amber, making fun of her witnesses, making fun of Amber’s attorneys or highlighting funny moments from Johnny’s testimony/behavior in court. Those all have the power to plant a specific impression in a jury member’s head, even if they don’t realize it consciously, which can make them view evidence and testimony through a different lens. That’s why it’s so important for juries to remain away from all potential news sources, and why that rule is in place and upheld so strictly. Even the slightest glimpse of a generic headline can alter a juror’s perception and create bias, even to the point that they aren’t even aware of it. It has to remain a verdict based strictly on the evidence and testimony. We were able to see and hear evidence the jury wasn’t, we were able to converse and share opinions with other, and we were all skewed by that in some way, making our perception of things and experience watching this trial very different than the jury’s. So a jury member seeing any of our opinions or comical perceptions completely undermines the entire point of them being there. It’s not really just about learning new information, it’s about them only being allowed to come to their own conclusions without ANY input from options or perceptions outside the courtroom and only basing their decision on the evidence presented and solely their own perception of it.

No. As a victim of DV I watched all of the trial both sides and I just don't believe her. As a victim you never instigate a fight and you will be the one running away from the conversation. She did the opposite. Her story about Hicksville and the cavity search was unreal. Her friends were all there & if something like that had happened to me I would have told my friends and got the hell out of there. I had a jury trial and it was awful, I never wanted to be reminded of that ever again. She does an interview to rehash all this? She does not act the way most DV victims act. There are so many abused men but most don't tell anyone and if they do sometimes even they're own family doesn't believe them. I'm glad this trial has helped to raise awareness that both men & women can be victims.
