- The Talk host Sharon Osbourne joins Piers Morgan to react to the unanimous verdict given by the jury that Amber Heard did defame Johnny Depp and must now pay $15 million to him. Sharon says Amber lied under oath in her trial and that "she knows the game". She also believes that Johnny Depp's career is now revived and that all the big film studios will be after him after not only winning the case but winning the court of public opinion. Sharon also believes with all the details that came out during the case such as lying about donating money to charity, that big movie companies will not want to go near her and she cannot see a comeback for her.

As a woman I personally disagree with Amber saying the verdict was a setback to women. The setback to women came when Amber planted and tampered evidence and lied her way through everything. She is absolutely not an advocate for victims of sexual or domestic violence.

God I hate when people say that they both “abused each other”. Such a bad message. Often in abusive relationships there is an abuser and a victim. The victim can at some point react not do favorably but that doesn’t make them abusive. There is zero evidence that Johnny abused Amber. So many people are just assuming he did because he did drugs.
I agree. Even though I may not personally know Johnny, from what I can tell of every single thing I've seen/heard about him, says he is a honest, genuine, and very kind soul.
Yes he may have acted out after years of abuse because even the best of us can take only so much, and people need to remember he is human like the rest of us. I highly doubt he was abusive back to her, but more so in self defense after dealing with just too much.

I agree with this. At least all the audio points to Heard only being the abuser. Beyond that we will never know. But if he didn’t know cameras were rolling then I doubt his demeanor would have changed in my opinion. That's the part I found fascinating.... I related to some aspects from a relationship I was in with a gas lighting narcissist who would never let me walk away from an argument and others who have been in far more abusive relationships than I ever was, all related to JD and of all the people commenting their support not one of them said they related to her because her story was like theirs...

Her stylist gave a witness she saw the bruises and put make up on it. Under oath. And other witnesses. Under oath. So either they lied, then they should be proven for perjury, but why the jury ignored these witnesses but not the others I as a European cannot understand. I am not for one party or the other, but I cannot understand that.

I am asking about the witness who is her make up artist and clearly saw the bruises and witnessed that. I am asking about the one photos of the incident of having been smacked by the eye phone in the face. Did not look photoshopped at all to me. The bodyguards corroborated Depps story. What proofs should a victim bring then? Just saying. If any photo can be said it is photoshopped, and every witness of you is not believed. How should that go normally.

If you have a partner or a friend who is narcissistic, egotistical, gaslightes you, makes you responsible for the bad things he/she has done, abuses you verbally/physically, please get out of that relationship/friendship! I was in a very emotional, physical and financial abusive relationship for years...after watching and listening to Amber I knew she was lying!
There is something very wrong with her.
I am elated that Justice was done and Johnny Depp won, he didn't deserve to be dragged through the mud. His career and his personal life were destroyed by this woman.
So in short, I am happy in my heart for him and Amber DOES NOT speak for me at all!

I completely agree. As a woman who for 17 years stayed in a physically violent relationship which included a broken cheekbone, a broken nose, a cauliflower ear, broken ribs. The first two years were heavenly, then one time I was kicked in the shin with steel toe cap boots in an argument over me not washing a plate properly, which which led to progressively worse violence. I never once called the police, I was too scared. 4 times they were called by neighbours and once by someone who saw me try to escape my home only to be dragged back in by my hair... the first time in court he got a dv course and a fine, the second time a dv course and a bigger fine, the third, he was put on tag and a curfew, and the fourth he was told in no uncertain terms if he were in this court again, he would be serving jail time, so a suspended sentence.
After this, punches to the gut were his favoured abuse, didn't leave any marks, but left me on the floor unable to breathe.
I finally left, he then took our children 7 and 10 at the time and moved down south. I had to fight him in court to get them back. His solicitor used the fact that as he hadn't been violent for 2 years he was a changed man! My solicitor explained the only reason he hasn't been violent was because I had left him! I got my kids back but it took 30 months. 30 months away from my kids being drip poisoned and told I didn't love them and didn't want them. Couldn't speak to them on the phone, letters and birthday amd Christmas presents never got to them!
I got justice in the end.
Amber is not an abused woman and needs throwing in jail for lying in a court about it. I could see it a mile off, she was abuser not the abused.
The truth always comes out. Always. It may take a while, years in my experience, but it always comes out.

Having never been a Johnny Depp fan, I can tell you he will have a bigger audience than he ever did before and I will be there!
I don't agree that people were just on Johnnie's side because they 'like' him. People were on his side because Amber Heard lied continually throughout the whole trail and it was proved, with evidence, that she's a liar. People also listened to her ranting abuse and confessions of hitting him and calling him a baby because he complained about her hitting him. I don't understand why Amber and others would say that the "Me too" movement is negatively effected by this as Johnnie was forced to have to come forward about the physical abuse he suffered from Amber, no matter how embarrassing and humiliated he felt about revealing intimate details of his relationship and life. So many men have come forward since Johnnie did this, to admit that they have been or are being abused and it's giving them the strength to try and stop it. Unfortunately Amber makes real abuse victims have to suffer more scrutiny, which no one in that situation should normally have to suffer....all because she is a lying, publicity seeking, personality disorder....and not a very good actor.

@@iheartdelrey her own evidence works against her, she is constantly contradicting her own statements when attempting to answer a challenging question, and the lack of evidence too. There is audio evidence, hours of it, that show she was the abuser. The Australia audio catches her admitting to hurting Johnny but that it was an "accident". THey couldnt show it in court because of the other people talking in it. She has a history of abuse, being caught by a policewoman hitting her ex-wife....can go on.
Why was Heard allowed to continuously lie under oath??? I am sick of people saying they abused each other. In every recording I listened to, she started everything! She sought him out and went after him. Yes, alcohol and drugs affect a person, but, from my experiences, it is the negative personality traits that come forward. If, you do not have an abusive nature without being under the influence, that will not and cannot come out under the influence. It has to be there to begin with and in JD’s case, it was never there. He may have abused kitchen cabinets, or a closet but that is a far cry from punching someone in the face.

I was 100% expecting him to win. The evidence was overwhelming, and the world knows Karen behavior. Johnny wasn't "very abusive", there was no evidence to indicate that he hurt anybody but himself. By all appearances, his worst behaviors were defensive, people being assholes to each other over text isn't uncommon. The Judge in England had ties to "Sun", he had a conflict of interest and should have self-recused. Amber should be held accountable for perjury.

I don’t think Sharon watched the trial, it doesn’t sound like she saw Amber or heard Amber. I know Sharon had a hard time, but we heard JD in the tapes when he was drunk and high, and he never wanted to fight he wanted to leave. The trial in the UK was full neglect and bias. Judges son worked for Dan Wooton, Amber was pampered and jD was ignored and humiliated. Watch some of Ambers testimony. It’s unbelievable. She went on shaking her fist back and forth and no words. There is reactive abuse when a victim is pushed too far. I know this for a fact. Drugs and alcohol are a way of self soothing making matters worse. Very happy about the verdict. Amber does not represent me as a survivor. It makes me upset knowing that she falsified so much information, and events. She should be taken off that board for representing abused woman around the world. So many flaws in her testimonies. I hope her the best and that she gets the much needed mental help and focus on herself rather than Johnny and appealing this case. Not all the evidence was used in the trials before, she's going to end up in jail for perjury if she continues on this path.

I agree with you. I am sick of this narrative as well. SHE was the abuser clearly and anything he did was reactionary. If the shoe were on the other foot and JD was the woman, no one would be calling him the abuser too. It’s a dangerous narrative because it keeps people in abusive relationships for longer thinking that THEY are the reason for their abuse and if they were not there this person wouldn’t be abusive. That’s not the reality. JD will go on to have healthy relationships with others as he’s done in the past and Amber will go on to abuse others as she’s done in the past. What no one seems to mention is that when you are being abused by your partner the constant put downs, the hits, slaps, punches both verbal and physical take a toll on the person being abused. You DO react, you DO retort in kind! You get upset and angry and say cruel things back. Yes, they both abused alcohol and drugs but that doesn't mean, in all the years JD has had these issues, he NEVER harmed any woman he was in a relationship with. Each of them have come out and said exactly that! He never harmed them. He was never abusive towards them. What is clear is that they, his former partners, were never abusive towards him which would cause him to retaliate, even if it was only verbally!

What I mean is, if you are being verbally and/ or physically abused, the person being abused WILL at some point react.more often than not, they will react with angry words and/or physical retaliation. You don't want to engage in it but at some point you snap! Being told you are fat, ugly, old, useless, etc.,....repeatedly....at some point you are going to go back at them. You want the abuser to feel what you are feeling. The pain, the humiliation. I hope I am making sense. I hate to say it, but I am speaking from experience. You do everything to avoid it. You literally run away. To another room or leave the place you are in to get away from the abuser. To stop the hits or vile words. If they corner you, you normally cower, but at some point you will try to go back at them. Maybe it's the abused persons way of trying to scare the abuser so they will stop. They never do.

It probably was, but the problem with that is that the person in the relationship who was abusive and villainous- their behavior just gets glossed over. She smacked him, punched him in the head, threw things at him, scratched at him and CUT HIS FINGER OFF. She also mocked him relentlessly and mercilessly. And she did all this while he was struggling to get sober. Then she ruined his reputation and his career. She is a horrible, abusive, cruel person. Her behavior should not be excused or ignored by blaming both parties. There is a massive difference between being in a toxic relationship and a physically abusive relationship. Assault is an actual crime.
