Just an observation. Amber said James Franco touched her face when entering the lift. Nowhere in that video does that happen.
Can someone be tried for perjury based on what they say in a deposition, if it meets the same criteria as perjury in testimony?
Now isn’t Jennifer’s deposition technically hearsay? Unless they’re able to submit the screenshots between Jennifer and Whitney where Whitney asked Jennifer to lie for Amber. Also, both Jennifer and Kate could’ve been watching the trial this whole time how does that work for rebuttal witnesses?
I don’t believe anything Amber and her freeloading friends say! They all abused Johnny! I don’t understand why they can’t bring in what they know as of today from UK trial. Doesn’t seem fair!
@@breannatatel_ I know Kate has been subject to recall since her video testimony, so she has been instructed not to discuss her testimony with anyone nor do outside research on the trial.
Jennifer will be testifying and sworn in - the statement that’s floating around is hearsay, but rebuttal witnesses are secured ahead of time and will be instructed like regular witnesses not to do outside research/discuss the trial until it is concluded.
I disagree that Whitney advance Amber's case. The minute she admitted to "rarely being sober" she has lost all credibility. It's outrageous that there is ongoing dialogue and finger pointing from Amber and her crew toward Johnny's substance abuse. He has admitted his issues with substances. But these girls paint the picture of how they live in a perpetual slumber party like a bunch of immature school girls who sit around and consume a variety of mind altering substances regularly. It's laughable.

Yes...all JD's problems seemed to start when AH came on scene. Her and her freeloading friends. She lied about the photos (during the crossX Camille asked her if she edited the photo that was LITERALLY identical except for the contrast, and Amber decided to lie and say that the other photo was taken with different lighting.), apparently the writing on the walls/mirrors is Ambers too (they compared her writing with the writing on the wall), etc.. literally everything that came out of her mouth are lies.

This explains why they didn't bother with the cross examination of Whitney Henriquez. If the letter of deposition, emails and texts from Jennifer Howell are anything to go by, Whitney has committed perjury. That being said, I'd like a reenactment, of how Johnny with a cast can be able to beat them both, push Whitney down the stairs when he came from behind her while she went upstairs to take Amber to the bedroom. I'd also like someone to hurl an empty can or full at someone like they claim he did to Debbie but she didn't notice. I'd like to see a battered dummy with the same exact ring impressions on Johnny Depp to see what damage can be caused. I don't believe Amber Heard and she is a disgrace to actual victims.

I disagree, this week was NOT a win for AH's team. All it proved was how much they are reaching because they have NOTHING. There is NO evidence of his alleged abuse the way she portrays it. If he beat the hell out of her the way she described and as often as she claimed, SOMEONE would have been notified, there would have been police reports AND she would have had to go to a doctor. Not to mention all of her freeloading friends were around them ALL THE TIME and yet NOT ONE PERSON EVER saw him hit her. WHERE ARE ALL THE PHOTOS OF THE ALLEGED BEATINGS? Give me a break. If you want to hear believable commentary by actual lawyers who have been watching this whole thing, go to runkle of the bailey, law and lumber, Emily D. Baker, and DUI guy on youtube, just to name a few. They are the real deal and not biased in any way and give a really great perspective of what's going on from a lawyers perspective.

Dewi I didn't recognise mysoginy in the above statement (although I can see might you might say so) as much as frustration at employing silly testimony of a bitter ex date from decades ago. It really was dredging the bottom of the barrel to try to prove that throwing a bottle is equivalent to wife bashing. Where are the forensic photos of actual abuse, where are the medical files, the doctors? Even the police didn't find Amber a victim.

How did their testimony move the ball in the Heard’s direction? They conflicted one another’s testimonies & made them both look less credible. All the people she’s had testi-lie for her have been either also abused by Amber, bitter they lost attention, clout, or a free ride, or have changed their stories multiple times. She also has fellow lawyers in the court room (not attached to the case) on her lives after court time to get a gist of how the jury and gallery is receiving the testimonies. It’s not looking good for AH’s case based on what court attendees are seeing. There was sympathy for JD when the music manager? I believe it was yesterday, said everyone around JD wanted something from him.

One thing about Johnny is that his version has never changed. He has given the same testimony every time he has went to court over this. When speaking the truth, you don't have to worry about your "story" because it's always the same. On the other hand, Amber's stories have changed a lot as to what actually happened. As have her witnesses accounts.

Her credibility took a hit once she said (on the stand while under oath) “rare occasions where I was sober” IMO her testimony has now become questionable and possibly unreliable due to near constant inebriation.
I really feel she said that on purpose. It's kinda like siding with her sibling but undermining everything she said but by proxy, kinda cos she knows Amber is the aggressor. So this way it's shown she supported her sister but the line 'i was barely sober' kills off everything and i truly feel her subconscious deliberately made her do that.
They have really hammered on JD's substance abuse, but AH and her friends drug and alcohol abuse, along with basically freeloading the whole time, is no big deal. These aren't even her friends anymore. Several of those depos were from the UK trial. Her team basically wasted valuable time putting jurors to sleep.
IMO I think she said this on purpose in order to cover herself later if/when perjury becomes an issue.

She assualted him with a bottle, but no he did that to her. She even put her dog out of the window of a moving car, but said he did(there is a video of that). She shat on his bed, but she said he would be drunk and loose control of his bowels trying to blame him for the turd she left for him. She is disgusting.

Whitney said something very significant that is being overlooked. She said that she, after being woken by Amber, went into the other apartment and spoke with Johnny about the alleged cheating, then Amber entered and the argument ensued on the stairs. Amber, however, claimed that after she woke Whitney, Johnny came into Whitneys apartment and attacked her there, before they went back to the other apartment and started the stairs incident! Whitney's testimony if true means there was no possibility or opportunity for Johnny to attack Amber in Whitneys apartment before the stairs incident! Busted telling MULTIPLE LIES!
All of this I hope will come out in closing argument from Johnny's legal team and that maybe the reason they did not pursue the argument further.

Ellen Barkin's testimony did not do anything to really support Amber's story of him being violent. She basically said he didn't change in behavior when he was on drugs (so no monster) and he tossed a bottle (she changed her wording) . Hardly any of yesterday's information actually helped Amber out.

I really do feel for Whitney. She had no refuge from the abuse growing up. She got it from her parents and from her sister. I wouldn’t be surprised if she tends to wind up in emotionally or verbally abusive romantic relationships as well. That’s what childhood abuse does. I only hear concern for Johnny winning this case. For those of us that love and truly care about Johnny Depp, we should be mostly concerned that NO MATTER HOW THIS TRIAL TURNS OUT that Johnny gets and remains clean and sober for the rest of what we pray will be a long and healthy and joyous life! The saddest thing is seeing him destroy his own life with alcohol and other drugs. That is NOT living his best life! It is living a nightmare no matter what crazed deranged woman is or is not in it! Johnny Depp is too magnificent of a human being to waste all he has to offer on a drug filled existence. In his heart he knows this but addictions to a lifestyle are as strong as addictions to alcohol and other drugs.
So agreed. I hope he wins because he deserves that peace of the truth being out there and being freed after the hell she has created all these years, but then I hope he truly gets the help he needs and deserves to stay sober and healthy. But depression and anxiety and addiction are cruel demons that are hard to overcome. I know first hand. I hope he can heal enough to at least come off the drugs and alcohol.

Every photograph she is in from that time says the same thing. Especially when she is photographed with JD. Chin up, chest out, standing up straight, looking confident and strong. Battered women do not look like this. That level of abuse changes you. It changes your self esteem, how you carry yourself, how you speak, walk, everything. You slouch, you hold your head down, staring at the ground, your voice becomes softer and quieter. It’s a syndrome. We have decades of research and literature to support this. In addition, many of us know someone who has personally been through this, so we know it to be true. AH does not seem like a battered woman in any way.
JD, on the other hand, doesn’t even want to look at his abuser. This is much more consistent with battered spouse syndrome than any behavior that AH has exhibited.

If you find Whitney's testimony credible and believable as to the events that took place on the stairwell, then you have to concede Amber's testimony to those events is not credible and not believable at all, since her version is completely different from Whitney's version. So, now we have three different versions. The security person's version, Amber's version and Whitney's version. All three versions are completely different. Then there is a fourth version based on the version Whitney told Jennifer Howell which that version is more in line with the security person's version based on Jennifer Howell's sworn Declaration she signed and has been filed in the case as evidence. Whitney is Amber's sister. Whitney also told Jennifer Howell how Amber has always beaten her up and that she is terrified of Amber. As a sister, and one who told her close friend she is terrified of Amber, she cannot be considered as a credible witness at all. She will say whatever she needs to say to protect her sister. The same holds true for Rocky and IO Tillet who are Amber's best and closest friends. They ALL took advantage of Johnny living off of him, living in his million dollar plus penthouses and personal homes, all rent free with all utilities paid, used his personal vehicles, drinking $500 dollar per bottle Italian wine, etc. They were living a life style they will never be able to afford to live on their own which was abruptly taken away from them when Johnny told Amber he was done and is divorcing her, which Amber then rushed to file for the divorce before Johnny could when he got back from band tour in the UK. Still needing a place to stay they had to side with Amber which is why she needed to retain possession of 3 of the 5 penthouses Johnny owned so her friends could still have a place to live.

It's hard to even quantify just how important of a witness Jennifer Howell really is. Why? Because Whitney is LITERALLY THE ONE AND ONLY PERSON outside of Amber Turd herself who claims that she SAW WITH HER OWN EYES Johnny HIT Amber. Basically the first question Depp's lawyers ask EVERY single one of Amber's witnesses is "did you ever see Johnny hit Amber?" And ALL of their answers were "no". Second question is usually "have you ever seen Johnny hit ANYONE", and ALL of their answers were "no". But Whitney testified SPECIFICALLY that she SAW Johnny hit Amber during the "staircase incident". She said Johnny ran up the stairs and basically collided with her (Whitney) as she stood in-between Amber and Johnny, Johnny swung and hit Amber FIRST, and THEN Amber punched him back.
Of course my sincere hope is that the jury realizes that Whitney's story is LITERALLY COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from AMBER'S OWN testimony about the staircase incident. I can't even remember what Amber's exact story was because I'm trying to wipe the HOURS of fake crying I had to watch during all of Amber's testimony from my brain, but I do specifically remember that Amber's claim was that she punched Johnny in that incident BECAUSE SHE THOUGHT THAT JOHNNY WAS GOING TO THROW/PUSH HER SISTER DOWN THE STAIRS!
Meanwhile Whitney claims that her back was to the stairs (as she was facing Amber and talking with her/trying to calm her down) and Johnny ran up from behind her and basically bumped into her as he was reaching past her to punch Amber in the face. Amber and Whitney's stories were COMPLETELY different...which is bad enough and should make Whitney's testimony totally irrelevant in the jury's mind.
But Jennifer Howell's testimony can literally add a THIRD version of events...and what will essentially be a TOTALLY DIFFERENT version FROM WHITNEY'S MOUTH. A version that not only DOES NOT have Johnny hitting Amber, but one that actually IMPLICATES AMBER AS THE ONE AND ONLY AGGRESSOR in that incident, which is EXACTLY what Johnny AND his security guy testified. And correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't there ANOTHER woman present during that specific incident and didn't she ALSO confirm Johnny and his bodyguard's story?
I am pretty sure she was one of Depp's early witnesses. She is the woman who Whitney claimed was ALSO on the landing of the stairwell (so four grown adults on the same 4'x4' stairwell landing once Johnny made it up there) and Johnny threw a can of Red Bull at the three women standing on the stairs (before running up the stairs himself) and it "hit this third woman in the back but she must not have noticed it because she didn't even react to getting hit with the can". That was WHITNEY'S testimony.
That woman herself claimed that she WAS NOT on the landing with Whitney and Amber. She was watching the scene unfold from a distance. So Whitney and Amber have both told DIFFERENT versions of that incident...but both of those versions implicate Johnny as the aggressor who hit Amber first. Meanwhile Johnny himself, Johnny's bodyguard AND a third woman ALL have THE SAME story regarding that incident and they ALL claim that Amber was the aggressor.
And now Jennifer Howell is going to testify via video deposition that Whitney's version of events just days after the incident ACTUALLY MATCHES DEPP's VERSION (and the version his bodyguard and the third woman tell). That is SO BAD for Amber Turd. It's bad for Whitney too because she CLEARLY perjured herself for her sister...although unless Depp loses this trial, I will be SHOCKED if ANYONE is actually tried for perjury for any of this testimony (unfortunately).

Recall there were two other witnesses at the scene. A Nurse and the Security guard, they both said it was Amber not Johnny. And neither saw Johnny hit or attack either Amber or Whitney. But they dismiss their testimony it seems.
I had the different reaction from hearing Amber & Whitney's testimonies. It seemed totally rehearsed & they even used the same key words & phrases, yet neither of their stories make sense. Besides those two, no one else had ever seen any abuse from JD towards Amber. They just keep putting up 30 years worth of people talking about JD having substance problems, which he's always & already admitted on his own. Clearly, Amber has dug herself into a deep hole with the lies & she can't stop now, imo.

A truly groundbreaking witness would be the person who does the mega witches Botox and fillers injections because when u enlarge the pics of the redness around her eyes u can see the "dots" in a row ( perfectly lined up) and the redness around her eyes and cheeks are perfectly cermetrcal and even on each side. Bruising from domestic abuse is not like that. Explain Whitney and Amber having two different "staircase" stories. Amber says Johnny was in front of Whitney and she thought he was going to push her down the stairs so she jumped in between them to save her. Whitney says her and Amber were at the top of the stairs and Johnny came up the stairs behind her. You don't "hurl" a can and hit some ones back but they don't feel a thing. This woman is probably going to be one of the more credible witnesses, along with the four police officers.

Amber and Whitney gave a different version of the stair incident. Note down their details of what happened. Their positioning. It's completely different. If it was a true story, the detail would be the same.
At first I was upset that they didn’t press Whitney enough on this subject, but now I see just how smart Depp’s team is. They strategically are leaving their strongest arguments and evidence for the rebuttal. By that time, Amber’s side has run out of time. They only have about 8 hours left, or one full court day. Depp’s team will be able to offer their evidence unchallenged. Amber’s team won’t even be able to cross examine their witnesses. Absolutely brilliant.
Not only that...but they are saving every minute of their time that they possibly can for their rebuttal. They have a full 10 hours more time left than Amber's team, who only has 8 hours left to do or say anything. Once they run out of time, they cant even object to whatever witness Depp's team brings in.

Its amazing that Amber and her sister's testimony about the stairs episode is totally different about who hit whom .it's clear someone was lying or both according to Travis his body guards testimony of what he saw and how he stepped between Johnny and Amber and that her sister was not in the middle of the two Amber and her sister .Of course when you lie its hard to remember what you are suppose to say in stead of telling it from what really happened .
This woman's recap of Ellen Barkin's testimony seemed off. She didn't say JD was violent. She said there was one incident where JD tossed a wine bottle in a hotel room while fighting with some of his male friends. He didn't throw it at her. The Ellen testimony didn't move the needle much.
Plus me thinks she's a bitter woman, JD didnt want her for a real GF.
She said it wasn't romantic it was S*xual. Even said he wasn't throwing it at anyone .. it was more of a toss. 😄 How is that helpful?
