- It was the celebrity defamation trial everyone had an opinion on - and the most outspoken of them appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored.
Earlier this year actress Amber Heard was ordered to pay $15 million to ex-husband Johnny Depp after an unanimous verdict given by the jury found she'd acted with "actual malice" during a lengthy and publicised court battle.

Alot of drama that should be embarrassing to them both. I do stand by Johnny, and feel like he is being the adult in the room through it all. I wish him the best, and I'm sure he learned alot of life lessons from that toxic relationship.

And her at the end proper boiled my piss. There we absolutely no banners outside for blocks saying death to amber at all. If there had been signs saying death to Amber, they would have been all over the mainstream news, who supported Heard. People on the scene started there were no signs like that. Her lying the way she does when anyone could disprove them with cameras, phones etc. is what confounds me. I was sad that Johnny had to do this publicly, but how else could he have gotten his side out. He was being judged by the US media and our entertainment companies without ANY proof. Amber was believed and Johnny was cancelled almost overnight. He lost 2 roles that he had made his own. So unfair. We as a world are going insane.

I just hope that this case helps men who are being abused because let's be honest men being victims is not on everyones radar, It must be hard being a man and being a victim of domestic abuse because he can't put his hand on a woman to defend himself society will call him a women beater but if he doesn't defend himself his called weak and told to man up
Piers you should talk about Amber and Elons sex parties, her recruiting young girls, and yes there was a lot of dirty laundry aired but mainly putrid around Amber imo, having watched most of the trial I found her acting deplorable and embarrassing, while if JD was asked if he did anything he would just say yes.
JD went to court, won, wrote a statement and moved on… it’s the media/AH keeping it all alive. Jd only appealed because AH did..
@also, maybe The case in the U.K. was against the SUN. so… different kinda a decision to make in regards to that appeal..

I never understood how piers condems both. Johnny looked great in that court case . Why say both?
Because he didn't watch the trial. He started to say he did, then said he'd watched snippets. And the news were all AH bias and still only showing bad points towards Johnny. Justice wasn't properly served IMO. She should have had jail time for perjury and for false accusations with intent to destroy him
Poor AH she has been vilified and had to watch people holding up signs for blocks saying they did not support her(untrue, it was already mapped out the block radius to the courthouse route and where the people who came which was to see Johnny drive by them stayed on a specific route within a specified radius in front or close by the courthouse) not blocks and blocks that outstretched for miles. But if AH is feeling the trauma from the trial, why does she keep coming back for more? Accept defeat, she isn't. She is doing her own schemes and wants this to keep going because she does not want to let Johnny Depp go. She wants the free ride he provided for her and her friends, his connections and she wants the lifestyle. In listening to those tapes, and following the trial, if Johnny is any kind of an abuser it is a reactive abuser that is just being worn down by having to constantly put up with living and being around an abusive person.
All of these commentators and this lawyer who purchased and is releasing the documents of this case are not helping. They are fueling the fire of a narcissistic AH. Johnny is smart to stay in Europe, where it is hard for her to have any direct contact or access to him.

#1, Kate Moss is a model and businesswoman, not an actress. #2, Depp publicly admitted on the stand that he had done wrong things, made bad decisions, and has been an addict. She, on the other hand, never admitted to any wrongdoing and never took any ownership of anything. #3, we women are not the only ones that can be on the unprovoked end of abuse, and I'm saying this as a domestic abuse survivor. #4, it has been proven in a court of law that AH has been physically and verbally abusive to him, her sister, a security guard, TSA agents, staff, etc. However there's no irrefutable proof in a court of law that he's ever been abusive to her, nor that he has a past of being abusive to anyone. People such as yourself make it even more difficult for men to be taken seriously when they've been abused, be it physically, sexually, verbally, or emotionally. Abuse is abuse period, regardless of the gender, ethnicity, color, or religion of the victim or the abuser.
