Piers responds about how the monarchs deserve that money because they give that money to charity. However, this did not convince me because that money could have just not been taxed, helping poor people. The republicans also respond about how they could give charity as a private citizen. 4. Piers states that they need wealth to be a royal family to keep up the "magic". Piers did not explain why something "magical" needs millions of pounds annually. 5. And again, all the royal stuff will cost us money. even if you specifically want to see that, i doubt thats the case for most people. And again, this still isnt really the point. The main point is that they shouldnt be an official office based purely on their birth, rather than their competency. Just because Elizabeth did good doesnt mean her successors will be, and in fact probably wont be.
Sunak? Johnson? Who care about them? By the way I am not a british and I love UK because of The Queen Elizabeth II.
@@KarmaGoodDeeds her legacy is forever alive
Piers is really the best guy to be running a talk show
Royal Family is identity of UK, otherwise sorry yo say, UK is no differences with Singapore, Malaysia South Africa, Iran, who care about them? British Royal is a very strong identity
Good for Piers, of course its worth the money
Nope
Not true, did you even watch the video?
We need a little bit of fantasy ❤
It's their fantasy. You don't get to live in it.
That's what a film is there for. This little brand called Disney makes tons of the things about Kings, Queens, Princesses etc.
But we shouldn't have our taxes on fantasy
LEAVE THE ROYAL FAMILY ALONE
They should leave our taxes alone
The royals family is represented the history of the English monarchy and its commonwealth in England 🏴 and the royal family represents the history of the British country…. The royal family is a institution that has always stood for English heritage…. The prime minister’s office charges every election 🗳️ and the royal family remains the same. Shame on those young liberals who don’t understand how great the system of British system it is…. Those young people who’s liberal views are nauseous and sick…. Incredible how much they don’t know about their country.
God’s Save the King 👑
The British did a lot of things in the past (a lot of them not good). Those ideas more often than not belong in a museum.
But indeed its nice to know that you support an indiviual who can literally get away with murder. Their page online says they promise not to, but I could also promise not to murder. The point is, if I actually did murder someone, I would be sent to prison. With Charles, this isnt the case, hes just allowed to kill people if he wants to.
Also, I dont agree with the king/queen having more influence over the prime minster, with regular meetings.
I support democracy. And being a monarchist essentially denies you of fully supporting this system.
If the king/queens want to be celebrities, then fine. But make them regular private citizens that have to follow the same rules as the rest of us mortals, with no additionals legal powers/benefits.
it's always the ugly ones.. ugly on the outside means ugly on the inside
Piers, you mean?
The monarchy is one of the very few Great things GB has left.
It's the main reason one day I'll go to GB.
From Aus.
If you think that's the best we have then you know nothing about us.
@@childfreegamer8840 Maybe I should have said 'special' or something to that effect. To each their own.
Hilarious! Graham Smith is clueless and Alex J. O’Connor is just plain thick.
