- An Oxford-educated anti-monarchy activist has complained to Piers Morgan that he kept cutting her off during a fierce debate despite the Sky News Australia host telling her she'd done "more talking than any other guest".
"You haven't let me finish a single point Piers," 'No More Royals' activist Riz Possnett said.
"Riz, you've done more talking than any of the other guests - so the words you're looking for are 'thank you Piers'," Mr Morgan said.
"I cannot go back to your notebook - we haven't got time."
At the end did she really say to Piers 'You're insane, just shut up'??? How rude, spoilt and disrespectful is that little madam

in 2019 the average tax payer contributed £1.24 to the royal family for that entire year which totalled around £67 million. it has increased in recent years with weddings, funerals, coronations etc, but in that same timeframe the royal family contributed around £2.5 billion to the economy with tourism. people travel from all over the world to see them and as far as i am concerned, like it or not we get a pretty good deal out of having them. if it was not for the 2.5 billion they contribute, you can be damn sure that your taxes would rise by more than £1.24 a year to cover the black hole we would have if the royal family suddenly disappeared and in my view THAT is what people often forget and doesnt even consider the princes trust

The money spent generates money for people providing the services. The logistics to put on the whole thing is people getting paid and making a living . That includes food companies, food service, flower growers and designers, clothing designers, tailors and all kinds of craftsman, drivers & car maintenance, caretakers of the horses, hotels , restaurants and pubs in the area , cleaning companies, tv channels, movie production companies, airlines ...etc.
