  • In Bristol, eagle-eye officer Russ spots a passenger dressed in a suspiciously smart suit making a swift exit. A bag search discovers three kilos of cocaine hidden in the fabric of the case. In Gatwick officers are on the lookout for a passenger previously charged with importing drugs. And in Cornwall, the customs officers aboard Searcher rummage a massive Polish cargo vessel looking for potential smugglers and discover a stash of 10,000 cigarettes.
    In Gatwick and Bristol Airports in England customs agents check baggage and travellers to uphold allowances and prevent illicit activity and substances from entering the UK.

    Whats the deal with smuggling cigarettes in the UK?

    • @swimgirl24
      @swimgirl24 2 года назад

      I think when the UK left the EU, the prices of cigarettes went up. I’ve also seen people on the show be confused what the custom limit is because the EU allows more cigarettes to move between countries. but when the UK left the EU, they dropped the allowed limit to something more stricter. The problem is people don’t know the limit changes so accidentally bring too many cigs into the country and then get in trouble.

    A victimless crime, that what handling drugs has be come, about 20 years ago, Portugal des criminalize all drugs, and the crime index filled with 85% from one day to the other, that released resources to fight victimized crimes big-time .

      Victimless crime? Nonsense. Asian countries are right to have the death penalty for drugs. The West is simply decadent, soft and being over run and over taken due to it's own apathy and weakness.

      @@taenui < It’s a crime that People don’t have the freedom to use drugs if they wish so. USA spend $200 billion a year trying to stop drugs, without success, It has been calculated that if the government instead legalize and tax it, it can collect $75 billion, a difference of $275 billion, which could be used to build schools, hospitals and other infrastructure. And users doesn’t need to make robbery to get it, we can’t stop it, so why not make sure, that only the clean stuff hits the streets ?
