  • Here is a look back to 2016, which looked back to 2011, and the same vested interests are ruling over us, and they are destroying our country.
Is time for change, but change will not come from the established Political Party elite; and it will not come from the fake opposition, those who have betrayed the people and betrayed Ireland.
Good citizens need to step forward, be candidates.
Also, people must make sure to vote, to not vote allows the usual elite to win.
People can register online to vote up until 20th May, all that is needed is:An email address,An EircodeA PPS number.
    Don’t let them win!

This video was suggested to me by RUclips - the following question is not a “put down” (and many, many have asked the same question): where are we going to get - in the short to medium term - sufficient number of construction workers to build all the badly needed homes ? That is - sort of - an “existential question” - as much as we can decry the “efforts” of the established parties, voting in well intentioned independents won’t secure the necessary man (or woman) power in the construction sector. As things stand in Dublin (and possibly in Cork also), who from abroad is going to come here and work on building sites with the huge rents (assuming accommodation is otherwise available) that would be payable for the duration of their employment in Ireland ?????

A good Government would offer free houses to get construction workers to return home, in return for 10 year work contracts building ...
      Or some such radical plan...

@@gratire "Our" government hasn't gotten the imagination of a flea Diarmaid and certainly, insufficient imagination and brain-power to enable them to come up with so simple and straightforward a plan for housing returning emigrants who would work in the construction industry, together with their families, in heavily subsidized housing over a period of 10 or more years. We need to build 500,000+ homes in this country over the coming 7 - 8 years if we are to house just our present population and there is little or NO chance that #FFG and their #mediaSycophants will ever allow for this to be done. All of the young nurses, teachers, doctors, engineers, architects, journalists, carpenters, plasterers, steel-fixers & scaffolders, truck-drivers, digger-drivers, plumbers, electricians and others who have fled our shores for a life in Australia, NZ, US, Canada and a whole range of EU countries will never return to work and live in Ireland unless and until there is an enforceable pledge of State Funding put in place that they guarantee that there will be homes available to all of them, whether family homes or apartments, at rent levels and/or at sale prices that are heavily subsidized by the State so that Rents are dragged down all across the market. Any such Guarantee must be fully funded for a period of 10 - 15 years and the communit infrastructure must also be guaranteed to be built over that same period, from Schools to Hospitals to Shopping Centres to Roads and new Rail Lines to sporting facilities and playground facilities. Successive Ministers for Finance together with our merry-go-round Taoisigh have boasted about our budgetary surpluses over the course of the past 8 years but yet they have failed spectacularly on the issue of Housing while being completely ignorant about the very simple piece of legislation they were required to pass post-Brexit so as to ensure that there was no Open Border available on the island of Ireland to the economic migrants who are flooding into our country from Britain. Every single economic migrant into Ireland over the past 4 years has arrived here solely as a result of Government ineptitude if not downright blackguarding. Economic Migrants are welcome here provided they apply for a visa from their home countries and there is a job offer or very strong prospects of a job available here in Ireland to every one of them. END of rant :)
