- Author Douglas Murray has slammed US Vice President Kamala Harris for “pandering” to Americans by speaking in different accents.
His remarks come after Ms Harris continues to draw criticism for using different accents when speaking to crowds at live events.
“It does not look authentic, it looks horribly pandering,” Mr Murray told Sky News Australia host Rita Panahi.
“It's just another example of the fact that America is trying to work out who this politician is and then not really getting an answer.”

Native Californian here. Many of us here in CA with our eyes open have been watching Kamala for many more years than the rest of the nation and world. And presumably it would be a parent if she'd suffered a serious head injury although that would certainly be an alternate explanation. But I think she's just high on edibles all the time
