This video was suggested to me by RUclips - the following question is not a “put down” (and many, many have asked the same question): where are we going to get - in the short to medium term - sufficient number of construction workers to build all the badly needed homes ? That is - sort of - an “existential question” - as much as we can decry the “efforts” of the established parties, voting in well intentioned independents won’t secure the necessary man (or woman) power in the construction sector. As things stand in Dublin (and possibly in Cork also), who from abroad is going to come here and work on building sites with the huge rents (assuming accommodation is otherwise available) that would be payable for the duration of their employment in Ireland ?????

One of them was my, I live just across the street. I heard that’s probably calling the guy from spike island tours. He calling clamp company from Friday. My one was clamp at 8am on Sunday morning. Also I speak before with one guy from port of cork boats and he say they are fine with park there until some of cars are blocking space when they have delivery there. If that’s true about guy from spike island tours that’s be mean they not have park space for clients so he trying to have some 🤷‍♂️

From what I read this woman threatened to “put a bullet” in two social workers and posted herself saying that on Facebook. You can’t threaten to kill anyone especially posting it on social media. To us this is just another story in the papers or news but to the social care workers she threatened they lived their lives thinking she was going to come for their children (as she had told the social worker she knew where she lived and named the social workers children’s names). Thats an awful thing to do and really I think the law should come down hard on her for that. She needs to get her life in order and take stock of what she’s done. Tusla was not set up to abuse children - that doesn’t mean bad ppl don’t do bad things. If Tusla are abusers and have caused harm then I would expect you to be out advocating for all children in the Tusla system and call a massive enquiry. But threatening to kill someone is up there alongside abuser.
