Great video and overview of the 8BitDo for Xbox! Loved the impressions for each genre at 6:14 with Streets of Rage 4, Ikaruga, Sonic, Hollow Knight etc.. keep doing more videos! :D
Thank you very much for this vid. Subscribed. I just bought this today for my Xbox series 1. Playing older COD's and retro games coming from a PS4/PS5 is hard for me with Xbox controller. Thanks again
Yea, after playing with one controller format a long time muscle memory definitely comes into play. My motto is play with whatever controller style feels most comfortable to you. At the end of the day there is no perfect controller. Just what you enjoy the most
Best dpad, good thumb stick accuracy. It could compete with newest console stick in term of dead zone. It's very durable. The best third party pad ever with price under Dualshock 4/5 or Xbox one controller.
Nice! I used to have Logitech F310 and changed it to this one. It's so comfortable to use when playing 2D games that my forearm doesn't hurt when playing unlike on my past controller. My only problem with this controller is that my hands get sweaty so fast. (Might be just me lol)
just ordered this.. and subbed. Hoping the Dpad is really nice as i want to use this for 2d gaming like brawlhalla. i just worry about those little remap buttons being accidentally pressed?
@@Zombie101 yea the MS elite. I was going to review that Elite initially but my one had a defective B button after one month of use, so I reviewed this 8bitdo one instead.
thanks for the sub, I'll be pumping out more videos soon. I love RoCo!... a bit too much, I play it so often that I neglect finishing my videos in a timely manner haha
Hello Mr, it was a useful video. I want to ask you if the computer detects the 8bitdo pro 2 wired controller as an Xbox controller or no. It is very important because the new games on Windows are only compatible with xbox controllers
Yes, it’s my go to controller for shooters. I primarily play third person shooters these days (rogue company and Fortnite) and it works great for that. If you already have a PS4 or PS3 controller you can also try purchasing a wingman XB from Brook Gaming. That’ll let you adapt a PlayStation controller with next to zero lag in addition to other controllers. It is a bit pricey though compared to buying the 8Bitdo Pro 2.
The Dpad is definitely much quieter and is basically like any normal PlayStation or Nintendo Dpad. The 4 main face buttons are still a little loud though.
In my case it's really durable compare to original dualsuck 4/5 or logitech F310 controller. I have had it for 2 years. I use to play fighting games, action or FPS with it. No broken button, pad or battery problem until now. Yes i have my own issue recently with hang vibration or the worst with fault thumbstick, it suddenly became irresponsive but i found it from buggy firmware then i updated its firmware with the newest firmware. It works like a champ. All my issue have gone.
I have it ordered coincidentally. I managed to get a good discount on it earlier this month. I'm currently waiting on it to ship. I'll be sure to post my impressions on it

It really has a nice D pad. The original D pad is not suited for 2D plattformers but this one is excellent for the job
very nice review

I haven’t had them accidentally pressed ever. I have had trouble with the elite though but got used to that over time. Hope you enjoy the controller!
@@sneakingelephant perfect. The elite meaning ms elite? i was also looking at the hori octa but this seems slightly better build quality
@@Zombie101 yea the MS elite. I was going to review that Elite initially but my one had a defective B button after one month of use, so I reviewed this 8bitdo one instead.
@@sneakingelephant yep i had that controller and the b button stopped too after 5 months or so. 8bit seems nice for 2d games at least
K, I'm gonna grab this!
Was looking up this controller for fighting games, subbed because I saw you play Rogue. Look good, get paid brother.

I currently only own a mac mini but will borrow a windows computer and test it out for you
@@sneakingelephant thank you very much my bro
Do you use it to play ffxiv? No didn’t think so.
That would require playing FF:XIV first ;p
Is this controller good for third person shooter because I moved to PlayStation to Xbox and the Xbox controller feels uncomfortable to hold for me
Yes, it’s my go to controller for shooters. I primarily play third person shooters these days (rogue company and Fortnite) and it works great for that.

hi, is this controller can fully support windows xbox (pc game pass)?
I love the original Xbox controllers but find them super loud. How does this one compare? I need a "silent" controller.
The Dpad is definitely much quieter and is basically like any normal PlayStation or Nintendo Dpad. The 4 main face buttons are still a little loud though.
