Loved this season. My 2nd favourite of the show aside from series 3. I loved how daring this one was by pushing the boat out more with the format. Here’s my ranking:
    1. Wise Owl 10/10
    2. A Random Act Of Kindness 10/10
    3. Kid/Nap 10/10
    4. Merrily Merrily 9/10
    5. Mr King 8/10
    6. Nine Lives Kat 6.5/10

Great series and I believe they have had series 8 and 9 confirmed. As a note - Kid/Nap - I don't think Daisy Haggard and Daniel Mays characters were in on the kidnap at the beginning because, for me, if that were the case, there was a lot of unnecessary interaction between the two where no one else was involved yet they acted as if they didn't know each other. So I think Daisys character manipulated Daniel Mays one to get her out of the situation she found herself in. 🙂

If Mr King was an a24 movie it would be considered an instant classic. Such a great episode. Wise owl was also an all timer

Loved this series, Wise Owl is my new favourite, it's so creepy and dark. The episodes were consistently good. Very enjoyable and series 8 and 9, given the go ahead too.

I didn't really gel with Kid/Nap, but aside from that I loved them all, my favourite would have to be Merrily, Merrily

I agree, Wise Owl has to be up there as one of my new favourites. I think Series 7 is a return to form, last series was a mixed bag for me.

Wise Owl was brilliant, so dark but so good. And I really liked a random act of kindness aswell. The who series was very good in general.

You are absolutely right, Nine Lives Kat is not good. In fact i think its the worst one they have ever done. Wise Owl is one of the best they have done. Good season overall but certainly not the best...

I’ve only watched two random episodes so far as my brother is trying to get me into it but I think I enjoyed them (I watched Wise Owl and Kidnap)
Wise Owl is my favourite of the two, being so grim and dark, exploring so much in such a short time. So far, the comedy is working for me so I’ll watch more eventually (I’ll add it to the massive list of shows).

I love the show - probably the best on British TV in recent years. But in Season 7 I guessed the twist in a few episodes and none of the episodes this year really blew me away. I would rate Random Act of Kindness and Wise Owl as the strongest. Mr King was good, but I saw the Wicker Man-style twist within minutes. Maybe one day they'll do an episode where the twist is that there is no twist - the guys are smart enough to manage that. One final point - am I the only person who thinks that the episode with the football referee has the most brilliant, rudest and most literal example of being "inside number 9?". Because I don't think the dressing room was No 9 - but the player the ref has slept with wore shirt No 9!

This was probably the strongest season so far, even my least favourite episode (Random act of kindness) is still a good episode, it's just the ending that let's it down.

I think the time travel and kidnap were the two best for me. Ive never been a fan of the wicker man so i didnt enjoy mr. King, in fact i get irritated when they make episodes like these so welcome the change of pace when they do it. Probably have to watch wise owl again cause it clearly didnt have the same effect on me. Id say its better than series 6. 6 is probably the worst, i dont recall any that i thought were good. I do sometimes thing they could do with more writers coming in, changing it up a bit

i really liked nine lives kat, i thought it was clever how the levels of cliche in the dialogue/acting/directing was reduced as more layers of fiction were peeled away, it felt the most black mirror of the show so far. i understand the criticism tho - maybe i loved it so much cause i was baked watching it lol! darkest series so far imo
