After Viktor dies Vander is still not affected but you can see singed for a second after they leave the tent standing over him, the liquid in his thingy is orange so you can tell he did inject him with the stuff while everybody else was distracted. The runes on the staff the guy uses to absorb Jinxs attacks are an item from the game they have one of the highest magic resist stats in game so it's really cool how they translated that into the show. I became at least 5 years younger from your suffering watching this btw so thank you
@@Frandahabyes, but the injection Singed used on him is the primary reason for him going berserk. Don’t forget that Vander was already at least decently docile. Viktor was just slowly bringing back his humanity. Singed unleashed the beast and likely caused permanent damage and now he has suffered a direct hextech explosion so who knows what state he’s in or what level of recovery is even possible for him now.
@@BuddyChywanna know something even sadder? Vander was still in there, he wasn't losing it or going back to beast mode, his blood was turned into molten lava, watch it again, he goes PAST jinx vi and Isha and grabs Rictus to rip him apart, after that he still doesn't attack them he just starts crying and screaming in pain, even when he hits jinx it's because he gets stabbed in the back by a Noxian and in the confusion and agony lashes out and hits her by accident... Finally when Isha slides under him to end his suffering, he looks down on her in molten red tears and recognises her and probably understands what she's trying to do and doesn't stop her, he knows she's only trying to help her new friend This is all so good damn tragic and sad, but so real aghhh
my thought was Viktors healing is what was needed in Warwick for Singed to get what he wanted out of Warwicks canister... like Viktors healing was needed to make Singed's cure work. so when he took that Warwick's healing was basically done for.
Do you have a timestamp for where you can see singed after he goes berserk because I went pretty much frame by frame and couldn't find it? Singe injecting him after they all leave the tent makes sense, so I am not disbelieving you but I can't find on screen confirmation?
Isha's song, the last words the Chinese singer says translates to this: "I'm just fine this way" meaning that she didn't want to die but she accepts it has to be that way. Isha's name also multiple meanings, two of the most important are "Healer & The One Who Protects". That brush moments are intentional; we saw ourselves as a kid in brighter memories. Memories where all was bright, colorful, and joyful. We never wanted to change that, but we did. Also, two symbolism, Isha’s paint color is blue symbolism for Powder as she is catching up to Jinx purple to heal her soul. Also notice how Jinx’s eyes flutter blue at least twice as they are jumping. Now Isha's soul says those last words to Jinx, unheared by death, echoed on us. This show is the epitome of show, don’t tell. So many times, I wish more dialogue was written, or I wrote it my own. But they left it up to the audience to interpret the situation based on their own perceptions. And this truly epitomized by the character of Isha, a character that is mute, doesn’t say a single line of dialogue, which also represents the voices going away in Jinx’s head. People don't realize it yet, but the writers made their point of this act very clear from the beginning. The second we see Maddie with Caitlyn, we feel betrayed and hurt, some even hate Maddie herself. We feel bad for Vi and we feel cheated on as an audience, but time and people move forward, even if it's temporarily or attempt to "fill a hole,” but Maddie also played a secondary role; to help keep Cait's humanity. Warwick and Isha's roles were to heal Jinx, bring back her humanity, heal sisters and a family. And just like the intro of the act, it's the outro, we have it all torn away and are betrayed.
In the earlier episodes Heimerdinger mentioned that he's seen great mage healers create miracles only to too see them fall into ruins. He hypothesize that it might the very nature of the arcane itself that brings ruin, not the user. A cause and effect. Viktor's peaceful community will, not if, turn into something else naturally entirely. Maybe, something not good.
"You look like a half-eaten circus tent." That line made my mom laugh so hard when I sat her down to watch the new episodes and I had to rewind it so she could settle and pay attention to what was happening. Now I quote it and she immediately smiles and giggles. 😂
@lyria261 I literally quoted the "oversized bitch mittens" line to her while she was cooking and she smiled, but said her favorite line was the "half-eaten circus tent". 🤣
@lyria261 The way the Enforcer and Jinx spoke to each other in that scene is how my brother and I talk to each other and it's absolutely hilarious. Some of our best memories together have been us howling with laughter after roasting each other and saying the most ridiculous things about each other.
Episode 5 gives us such new insight on EVERYTHING! We see how close knit the friendship once was with Vander, Silco and the mother of Vi and Jinx. Silco knew who Powder was... the daughter of someone he really cared about... and he raised Jinx in honor of her. She mattered to him WAY more than we ever thought!
Couple things to notice: -Salo doesn't breathe when he meets Jayce. And when Jayce first sees him, there's a quick flash of him being something... Not human...with an empty head (it's almost cup shaped) . The theories are that Viktor basically encountered some kind of malevolent void being that hijacks people's brains, and functions as a hive mind. If that's the case, Skye might actually not be Skye, but rather just the void thing's method of manipulating Viktor. -in the Jinx/Isha flashbacks during her epic moment, you see Jinx's pink eyes flickering back to blue a few times, showing the impact that Isha was having on Jinx, almost letting her start to turn back into powder. -Warwick/ Vander is triggered by blood, so after Isha gets accidentally smacked by Vi, it's that blood that triggered him to hunt her down. When Vi first punches him, you also see he's not even acknowledging Vi yet, he's reaching out to try and grab/hurt Isha while in his bloodlust state, and constantly distracted by her mid fight.
Natalie might appreciate the fun fact that Viktor is voiced by Harry Lloyd, Danaerys' brother in Game of Thrones =) Harry is a stellar VA, and he fully narrated all three books in The Hedge Knight trilogy (which I think is an upcoming HBO adaptation as well).
He was also in Legion, on Hulu. Don't look up who he played. Lol It's a huge spoiler. Don't even look up who the main character is, if you don't already know. Google WILL spoil that, too😂😂 It's a Marvel show pre-MCU. it's my all time favorite marvel project, hands down.❤❤❤ Definitely written by and starred a lot of theatre kids😂😂😂
That hug with Vander fucking punched me in the gut. Felt heartbroken for everything that happened to all 3 of them, and so happy they could be reunited even for a brief moment of happiness.
You crying makes ME cry n tear up when ive already seen the show 😭😭😭 I love witnessing human emotions take over, happiness or sadness Showing compassion in these moments is what makes us humane..it's what makes us human 🤧💚
Nat can I just say, don't stop yourself from crying. Part of why I love your channel is that you cry during the real moments, and I cry with you! We're all crying together lol ❤
honestly this show just breaks me every episode. i dont know why i do this to myself but i cant stop, its too good. (i think i need about 12 therapy sessions when the show ends, calling it right now)
Some Act 2 Call Backs - Jayce, Ekko, and Heim definitely saw some evil twisted world. We are so sad and focused on the "Arcane" (getting vander back, all the happiness) that we didn’t focus on the little sinister details behind the scenes. One Salo isn’t breathing when they are in the hexgate mesh, they also did very quick camera flutter, but they show a very sinister image of non-human existing instead of salo as a human. Also, I don’t think a lot of people noticed, but Vander didn’t just disappear because of Viktor’s death. Singed most likely woke up and injected the Serum into Warwick after Caitlyn, Vi, and Jinx walked out. Season 1 - Vi "Oil & Water" | Season 2 - Caitlyn "You look like an angry oil slick" Also some people don't realize when Vi is telling us the plan, she is actually talking to Jinx because she says "You're not going to like it." Meaning Vi told Jinx the plan because she's going to have to trust Caitlyn. Ironically she didn't tell Caitlyn that Jinx knew the plan.
The way they edited Isha's scene gave us the right amount of time for our desperate cries to grow in strength to what jinx was experiencing. Perfectly done
After the emotional damage from this act I'm not sure if I'll be ready for act 3 which everyone on the cast and crew is teasing us to brace ourselves for
20:57 I’ve been tearing up at this moment in the episode all week. But not gonna lie. When you said “his friend” it was funny. 😂. Looking forward to watching the rest of the video
I knew that when this came out that Natalie would be a blubbering mess of weeping at the end of the three episodes... and she was. Arcane just knows exactly how to reach into your chest, grab your heart, and rip it out, still beating, before holding it up in front of your face and saying "I own this. This is mine. You will feel everything I do to it."
Just the moment Jinx looked Isha run passed by with that "WTF" look in her face, and then the horror setting in, that for me personally was the best animated emotion i have ever seen, it cut me to pieces.
It took me a while but Warwick going full on rage, wasn't because of what happened with Viktor, but because Singed injected him with that serum he made to conteract Viktors work
We're big fans of your channel! Love how genuine and authentic you are on your reactions and it shows in all of your videos :) the production is also FIRE! Keep up the awesome content!! 🎉💖
It made me sob even harder when I realized Isha's last song was in a different language because she was selectively mute. She cries out "Mama!" to Jinx when Sevika is carrying her out of the prison which is the only time we hear her speak. Otherwise we see her sign to Jinx. The writers and artists paid attention to every single detail and it's so important to me 😭💕
she doesn't cry out mama she just yells out, but the rest is all true. They're supposed to depict a healthy sibling relationship with Jinx being an older sister
Girl. Jayce just save everyone so far. Viktor's cult seems pretty, but appearances are not always what they seem. Not a spoiler just some lore but in the videogame Jayce is "The Protector Of Tomorrow"
the reunion hug and then next episode isha. I actually just couldnt process it. I'm glad they gave me a week between episodes because I was cooked. Its rare shows can make me cry that hard.
1:06 Yooooo! You're so perspective always! You're the first person to notice Ambessa is *literally stoking the flames* whereas many of us saw this scene at maybe Ambessa being Genuine for one. 11:58 Oh, this is semi interesting because this thought process does explain why Mel was the only person willing to break Ethos to make Hextech. 17:31 Again! Love how smart you are at putting these dots together!
I get why people think Jayce messed up here... but Viktor was making people who COULD NOT SURVIVE without him, people whose personalities fundamentally changed after he "healed" them, people who lost all impulse of self-preservation (Huck greeting Ambessa's army), and people who DO NOT BREATHE (Salo was not breathing at the base of the hex gate, Jayce's breath was visible, Salo's was not). It's obviously tragic, given Vander and Isha's fate. Ambessa's invasion may have had less of a chance if he hadn't done what he did. But Jayce didn't know any of that, he simply fulfilled the promise he made TO VIKTOR by finally destroying the hex core. For the record, I believe that Viktor believed he was doing good, but he was being used by the hex core (wearing Sky's face to manipulate him).
I know this is the format Natalie uses, but I really wished she reacted one episode per video. There's so much nuance and symbolism in every scene that I wish I saw her reaction to lol
After watching episode 6 and bawling like a baby, I get a weird sick twisted joy out of watching other people react to this episode the same way and this was one of my favorites I’m so sorry.
"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Eternal singularities off the shoulder of the Arcane. I watched blue beams glitter in the dark near the Hex Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in the rain. Time to die." - Victor
Remember back when Viktor wanted to destroy the hexcore? And now he doesn't, almost like now that he's fused with it it's slowly start to make him think he was doing good thing healing people through it's powers. I'm not convinced that it was, Viktor's motives might have been, but the hexcore seems to have been controlling him via Sky. Jayce might have seen something, being sent to the future where he saw exactly what happens if Viktor is left unchecked and had a mission to stop it at any cost. I also don't think Jayce is responsible for Vander. He wasn't 100% fixed by Viktor yet, so I don't think he was "linked" to Viktor yet. If you looked closely after the fight breaks out, there a shot of Singed (mad scientist guy) standing there. I assume he injected Vander with the serum that made him go full feral after Jinx and Vi left him alone with him to check out what had happen outside.
I just realized that we also don't know why Salo was in the Hexgate tower and why he's taking something (hexcores ?) from there. Can Victor recharge his power with hex crystals ? Will Isha's sacrifice give Victor a power up ?
@@scrrin Speaking of Salo, did you realise he was not breathing in the tower (Jayce hat cold breath Salo didnt have breath at all)? Everyone is so focused on the family, that they overlook the fact that Viktor/the hexcore might not be what he seems. Like Salo might be already dead... Jayce saw a weird (void?)thing-person "inside" salo for a second, maybe that wasnt him beeing weird/controllen/delusional but actually seeing that viktor is putting some sort of other consciousness in people.
Yup... So that happened. Was waiting for your reaction, always the best. And again I'm taken away while you are watching it. Sobbing together... I'm a grown ass man. These writers, ... 😭😭
20:14 yes you could almost say they are like two sides of the same coin. you could almost even say that the source of their good and evil come from the same place... or something like that
I think we're about to see how Jace was right. The Arcane was corrupting life and Viktor, he just didnt know it and you could see that when he died all of those people he helped just died with them, they were bound to him controlled by the Arcane. We should see a flashback in the coming episodes hopefully. That's just my take :P
Jayce 100% came from skynet future and tried to stop it. Except this most likely started it since at the end of the episode Viktor decided humanity needs to be erased.
its also extremely evident in how much their personalities changes. Salo for the entire show has only ever cared about himself and having as much power as possible, but after supposedly only having his legs changed, he completely 180s and is kind and takes after Viktor's ideals. It's like the person who gets healed dies and is replaced by something else
@@jason.s.music. Definitely, if you look closely you will also see that in the tower Salo actually doesnt breathe... so yeah Jayce is fine and breathes, but he sees a "thing" "inside" Salo, who is not breathing at all...
I saw someone say that when Isha saw Jinx lying on the ground she thought she wasn't going to get up and let herself die since she's done that a couple of times this season(Vi vs Jinx scene, Warwick vs Jinx fight) so she tried doing something to save her. You can also see it in her face right before she starts running when she looks at the hex cores.
I think I’ve seen that Isha scene maybe like 6 times in full, and even now I still sob and cry like a baby, that scene just hits a spot for me that nothing else does.
I'm going to need you to get a hold of yourself, ma'am. I held it together on my first watch, but watching it with you had me shedding tears. Manly tears, of course. 😂
Just watched this episode today. It's incredible how in these few episodes they make Isha such a loveable idealistic little dork like Powder was and then of course to use her as an emotional gut punch and yet it still doesn't feel forced or shoehorned in even in the tiny amount of time we get to see her. These writers know how to make me upsetti spaghetti.
It's strange that almost no one talks about the fact that he has grown a beard, dirty and tired to hell. the guy definitely got to a place where time flowed differently, and he definitely saw a lot of shit in at least two weeks of real time for him, trying to get out
Vander gets the blue hair little girl + 3 hex orb special, AGAIN.

The runes on the staff the guy uses to absorb Jinxs attacks are an item from the game they have one of the highest magic resist stats in game so it's really cool how they translated that into the show. I became at least 5 years younger from your suffering watching this btw so thank you
He absolutely is affected either way. Viktor's fingerpints are shining, just like they did with everyone else
Finally when Isha slides under him to end his suffering, he looks down on her in molten red tears and recognises her and probably understands what she's trying to do and doesn't stop her, he knows she's only trying to help her new friend
This is all so good damn tragic and sad, but so real aghhh
my thought was Viktors healing is what was needed in Warwick for Singed to get what he wanted out of Warwicks canister... like Viktors healing was needed to make Singed's cure work. so when he took that Warwick's healing was basically done for.
Do you have a timestamp for where you can see singed after he goes berserk because I went pretty much frame by frame and couldn't find it? Singe injecting him after they all leave the tent makes sense, so I am not disbelieving you but I can't find on screen confirmation?
26:04 Basically me after a League game 😅
Me watching my duo lane 0-5 in 2 min
When you played great, but are in a unwinnable match.
Lol
Me a sett main seeing Vayne is my top lane opponent.
18:36 had me laughing so hard I was tearing up! I love you, Editor.
glad to know that I wasnt the only one to cry REALLY hard
Same. Arcane has constantly *destroyed* me every time I decide to do a rewatch specially Isha's scene
bro i am still crying. God im not ok... i did a rerun of season2 and boy oh boy am i NOT OK
You're really far from the only one, that scene broke so many hearts
Aww that's so sweet!
@lyria261 I literally quoted the "oversized bitch mittens" line to her while she was cooking and she smiled, but said her favorite line was the "half-eaten circus tent". 🤣
@@ravenhurst96 I love that! Laughing and bonding over small things like that with friends or family is beautiful :)
@lyria261 The way the Enforcer and Jinx spoke to each other in that scene is how my brother and I talk to each other and it's absolutely hilarious. Some of our best memories together have been us howling with laughter after roasting each other and saying the most ridiculous things about each other.
10/10 reactions. You know Nat gets it when she cries all our tears on camera. I still tear up every time I’ve rewatched it in reactions.
I don’t know where the fuck this show gets off being this good
Phenomenal writers.. Which it is something we were lacking in every media of late.
It’s literally just good writing
Right? Who the fuck do these people think they are, raising the bar like this without permission.
@@budoshi-f2l Which is why I pray we get the same writers for their next LOL based shows 🙏
Couple things to notice:
-Salo doesn't breathe when he meets Jayce.
Lol
It's a huge spoiler.
Don't even look up who the main character is, if you don't already know. Google WILL spoil that, too😂😂
It's a Marvel show pre-MCU. it's my all time favorite marvel project, hands down.❤❤❤ Definitely written by and starred a lot of theatre kids😂😂😂
That hug with Vander fucking punched me in the gut. Felt heartbroken for everything that happened to all 3 of them, and so happy they could be reunited even for a brief moment of happiness.
I wish you had shown your reaction to when the prisoners all touch Jinx as they walk past her. That's such a powerful moment.
You crying makes ME cry n tear up when ive already seen the show 😭😭😭
I love witnessing human emotions take over, happiness or sadness Showing compassion in these moments is what makes us humane..it's what makes us human 🤧💚
It made it worse seeing Isha’s wholesome interactions with Vander/Warwick and then seeing her sacrificing herself
Nat can I just say, don't stop yourself from crying. Part of why I love your channel is that you cry during the real moments, and I cry with you! We're all crying together lol ❤
honestly this show just breaks me every episode. i dont know why i do this to myself but i cant stop, its too good. (i think i need about 12 therapy sessions when the show ends, calling it right now)
18:31 No more crying😂😂 (Arcane like: "yeah, sure Honey")
i feel so validated for my reaction to isha's death after this that shit was DEVASTATING
Season 1 - Vi "Oil & Water" | Season 2 - Caitlyn "You look like an angry oil slick"
Also some people don't realize when Vi is telling us the plan, she is actually talking to Jinx because she says "You're not going to like it." Meaning Vi told Jinx the plan because she's going to have to trust Caitlyn. Ironically she didn't tell Caitlyn that Jinx knew the plan.
holy cow u right i totally forgot about singed inside D: nice detail
“Is that Vanders friend😭”
“Should I know who Violet is?😭”
Girl ilysm😆💛
That "Remember Me" song hit me deep...Vander is just trying to put his mind back together and he's only thinking about his kids...🥲
am i tripping she didnt post that part?
@@niikowala You're right, I'm just going off memory from Ep 6. It should be on her Patreon though
@@niikowalaprobably just her staring at the screen with happy tears, couldn’t make the Final Cut for fair use reasons.
Let's be prepared for twentyonepilots in a few days T_T
@ oh are they doing a song? That’s exciting
The way they edited Isha's scene gave us the right amount of time for our desperate cries to grow in strength to what jinx was experiencing. Perfectly done
After the emotional damage from this act I'm not sure if I'll be ready for act 3 which everyone on the cast and crew is teasing us to brace ourselves for
You captured every emotion we went through as well 😭 were all in this together
20:57 I’ve been tearing up at this moment in the episode all week. But not gonna lie. When you said “his friend” it was funny. 😂. Looking forward to watching the rest of the video
I knew that when this came out that Natalie would be a blubbering mess of weeping at the end of the three episodes... and she was. Arcane just knows exactly how to reach into your chest, grab your heart, and rip it out, still beating, before holding it up in front of your face and saying "I own this. This is mine. You will feel everything I do to it."
I love how genuine your reactions seem and how you talk to the characters like they can actually hear you. Keep on keeping on.
I kew within minutes of being introduced that Isha was going to die. I prepared myself for a week. It didn't help. It was still heartbreaking.
episode 5 made me cry like a baby. i love this fucked up family so much
Cannot wait for you to see ep 7. It broke me, entirely. It became one of my favourites pieces of animated media ever immediately.
Just the moment Jinx looked Isha run passed by with that "WTF" look in her face, and then the horror setting in, that for me personally was the best animated emotion i have ever seen, it cut me to pieces.
It took me a while but Warwick going full on rage, wasn't because of what happened with Viktor, but because Singed injected him with that serum he made to conteract Viktors work
Natalie, I just really love how real you are. Thank you for putting your heart into your reaction vids 💙❤️
From WANDA to LEAGUE.
You've been the best
We're big fans of your channel! Love how genuine and authentic you are on your reactions and it shows in all of your videos :) the production is also FIRE! Keep up the awesome content!! 🎉💖
You are NOT alone
The way a collective BROKE so hard when it happened... just gut wretched remembering it.
The "He's your dad too" scene had me crying just like you were. It tore me apart...
"Am i supposed to know who viloet is"
BRUH i laughed to hard, cuaght me so off guard
Youre the best nat ❤
oh Nat i feel your pain. i was not okay after these episodes.
This episode hit every note...
No matter how many times I re-watch, I keep getting teary eyed.
1:08 That's what I love about watching reactions, things that I wouldn't ever think about it.
15:40 "is this viktor? how you doing buddy?"
while you breakdown from the family scene is lowkey so funny
Girl. Jayce just save everyone so far. Viktor's cult seems pretty, but appearances are not always what they seem. Not a spoiler just some lore but in the videogame Jayce is "The Protector Of Tomorrow"
25:23 girl i miss you weeping like this😆 last time i heard this was The Last of Us lol
Bruh - remember the Red Wedding? 😂😂😂
@@therealneal3034that and last of us😂 those were like this full power weep
the reunion hug and then next episode isha.
Awww I’ve never seen you cry like that when Vander (Warwick from the game) was hugging them. I agree I bawledddd
Has she ever cried this hard in a reaction? Poor Natalie 🥲
Not for awhile! Probably last of us and Game of Thrones. I know, poor Nat :(
I need a full hour to stop crying after episode 6... I'm still not over it, why always the poor little baby
i clicked the video just for the miniature.. and yeah, that photo of you absolutely sobbing sums up that ending perfectly
This season has been an emotional roller coaster. Such a good show
Remember back when Viktor wanted to destroy the hexcore?
18:34 Actually laughed out loud 😂
So much for “no more crying” 💀
Me at the end of Act 1: What's up? Why am I not emotionally destroyed?
Act 2: hold my hextech gemstone...
Nat!! You getting the reference of Ambessa "stoking the fire", aaaaaah!! I love that you caught that! ❤
At the end, Isha became.... powder.
HEY. STOP THAT.
DAMN IT
Literally
Yup... So that happened. Was waiting for your reaction, always the best. And again I'm taken away while you are watching it. Sobbing together... I'm a grown ass man. These writers, ... 😭😭
I was eagerly waiting for your reaction. Love how much emotion I can relate to having while watching this show.
Yeah, as soon as viktor spoke through Salo I was uncomfortable. It was more like a hive mind. I don't think those people weren't truly alive anymore.
Already rewatched you 3 times sobbing to Isha😌
I saw someone say that when Isha saw Jinx lying on the ground she thought she wasn't going to get up and let herself die since she's done that a couple of times this season(Vi vs Jinx scene, Warwick vs Jinx fight) so she tried doing something to save her. You can also see it in her face right before she starts running when she looks at the hex cores.
I knew Nat would cry
I think I’ve seen that Isha scene maybe like 6 times in full, and even now I still sob and cry like a baby, that scene just hits a spot for me that nothing else does.
Wooonderful reaction 😂👏🏻👏🏻 u never disapoint me Nat, I cried and laughed with you today (at the same time 🤣) just great, thanks! 🤗
literally so excited to see ur finale reaction!! it’s a blast 🎉😅🙃
Isha did become powder in the end
jail for this
When you laugh and cry a lot at the same time...
Act 2 broke me so damn hard, I honestly dont know if I will recover
Mad respect for your vulnerability. 32 yr dude, and both 5 and 6 made me ugly cry too.
I'm going to need you to get a hold of yourself, ma'am. I held it together on my first watch, but watching it with you had me shedding tears.
Manly tears, of course. 😂
Arcane deserves all the awards!
"Vander's friend?" got me crackin' lmao
Just watched this episode today. It's incredible how in these few episodes they make Isha such a loveable idealistic little dork like Powder was and then of course to use her as an emotional gut punch and yet it still doesn't feel forced or shoehorned in even in the tiny amount of time we get to see her. These writers know how to make me upsetti spaghetti.
Believe it or not, Jayce is more sound of mind in that moment than he ever has been.
It's strange that almost no one talks about the fact that he has grown a beard, dirty and tired to hell. the guy definitely got to a place where time flowed differently, and he definitely saw a lot of shit in at least two weeks of real time for him, trying to get out
