What is one minimalist style tip you personally follow? 🤍
I've been gathering tips as I soon plan on changing up my wardrobe; I'm really curious to experiment with sticking to a color palette. I habit purchase things that just look cute and usually never wear them so it will be nice to be more intentional about my purchases and build a wardrobe that is both functional and cute.

I have different colours from the same T-shirt I absolutely like. It’s easier for me. I’m a soldier so I wear uniform every day, so my style of dressing is not very typical of variety 😂

I don’t follow this anymore because I got more of a fashion sense but I used to only own black pants then I could own whatever colour shirts I want

So first of all, really like your videos. I would like to mention that Everlane was recently sued for Union Busting practices and got called out for not having enough people of color employed and paid fairly. Several women also called them out for the same. They publicly apologized and said they would do better in the future. No place is perfect, but I think it's important to have some additional info.
Everlane isn't that great for sustainability either. They got a “not good enough” overall rating from Good on You
i already did a comment pretty similar to yours on another video of hers but apparently she does not seem to care at all.. usually any negativity towards everlane gets ignored! very sad.
@@michelleneubauer5099 Many people in Europe and across the world don’t realize this, but in the United States, a good number of “unions” are really just fronts for mafia/organized crime and don’t support workers much at all. They force workers to pay dues out of their paychecks (workers don’t get a choice in the matter) and use the money for corrupt activities not even the most liberal and progressive of us would agree with.

I love all these style tips. I’ve been trying to stay to a color pallet, and it’s been helping a lot for having my clothes go together.
Wear what makes you happy, whether it's neutral colors, or more "eccentric" or vintage style.

Absolutely! Being a minimalist doesn't mean to only wear basics and neutral colors, it just means decreasing your wardrobe to only the items you REALLY need, and REALLY love. And to love a color full maxi dress or bright red shoes is also part of that 🥰

Ashlynn you are described as the minimalist queen and with good reason. I am trying to make the changes. Slow moving into a smaller wardrobe. Less furniture, kitchen items, tech, decor, even home menu has been somewhat easy. I have even changed my spending habits 180°. This changes is in big part thanks to you and Sarah and a couple of other RUclipsrs. But I do have a dog and a cat. Now my dog I have had for over 3 years and is been done right impossible to declutter and go minimalist with her. Do you know any minimalist pet owners that might be able to shed some light on how to go about it?

My best style tip is keep all your bags and shoes neutral so they match everything you own. Right now I only have black or white shoes , and black or brown bags

I find it difficult to add pieces that require dry clean or hand wash only care. With a minimal wardrobe I tend to wear all of my clothing frequently and I prefer items that I can toss in the washing machine repeatedly without showing too much wear and tear. I notice you get a lot of wear out of the gorgeous Alpaca Crew you are wearing in this video. Does the dry clean only drive you bonkers? Lol
Hey!! So I totally relate to you are not wanting to own many clothes with finicky care instructions. For the alpaca crew, I will often air it out between washes and/or quickly steam it. That really helps extend the life of it! Also, I do sometimes just wash it on a delicate cycle and let it air dry ☺️

Ugh this is my struggle! It really does seem like minimalist closets are more made for smaller body types.
That’s definitely tough, for activewear though, girlfriend collective has some awesome pieces that I know they make in plus sizes! 🤍🥰

I have always found myself loving your sense of style and the color schemes and I hope to move towards doing that soon. I've been working on minimalism the past couple of years. my home is now in order but my wardrobe is still all over the place. I haven't added to it, but it no longer represents me either. If you ever hear of any plus size options please let us know :) I know i can't be the only one wondering
