Supportive leggings, but I wear them as undergarments and pj's, I feel naked just wearing them like pants 🤣 and my collection of dresses, I'm going through a phase where I find jeans incredibly uncomfortable, even the stretchy kind.
I love anything from Uniqlo, they always use the simplest design to make quality clothes. If you like that brand too, can't wait to see your Uniqlo collection!!
Your wardrobe videos are among my favorite topics! I appreciate your thoughtfulness to sustainable fabrics/material - it's an area that not many people cover.
Oh I’m so glad to hear that!! I’m definitely not perfect when it comes to this, when it’s something that’s important to me and that I want the share + get better at personally 🤍
Hi Ashlynne! Love your minimal and classy style. Your clothes always seem so well maintained and cared for. I would love to see a video on any tips you have for taking good care of clothing items and shoes!
Yes I agree that would be great! Some simple tips I have are: 1. Separating lights and darks 2. Washing on cold 3. Turning jeans inside out 4. Washing delicates by hand 5. Hang dry instead of machine dry and steam the wrinkles out I'm actually working on a how to care for your capsule wardrobe video right now where I will be sharing more advanced tips and details.
Secondhand items are even more sustainable than buying brand new items from eco friendly/sustainable brands. You don't need a huge budget to have a sustainable wardrobe!! :)
Plain merino wool sweaters, jeans, and loafers or boots make up my daily uniform during this season of transition. I love your black boots and your minimal sweaters!
I've kind of been living in the same sweaters, especially one in particular, all winter so I'm sure I will be downsizing even more of my closet. Working from home long term just makes me feel less of a desire to have as many clothes and I end up just wearing my favorites. I have a few cardigans that I keep out year round because I always get cold so it's easy to throw one over a tee. I used to have several pairs of jeans but now I only have 2. Most of my shoes are slip ons! I love the Sketcher sneakers just for this reason--I hate shoelaces. My husband found me this Hue legging tee that I've really been living in--it's so soft and looks so nice on me. Thanks for sharing yours!
Definitely spent half my time watching this video just trying to see what books you had in the background - was suuuuuper excited to see the book thief!
This blue sweater is such a lovely colour on you Ash! 🥰 I would say my staple right now is my comfy cream sporty sweater and either a pair of blue jeans or leggings. 🤍
I work from home and I absolutely need cozy clothes to get through my day. A good pair of comfy but fitted joggers (with pockets!) and cozy hooded cardigans. ❤️
I am in this moment of realizing somethings about myself like you said about your shoes, that is importante to be easy to put it on and take it off. Usually we are not encourage to think about this personal and uniques details...and this is one of the things I am grateful for this channel ✨
I always love a pair of Capri jeans. I can wear them in the summer with sandals, sneakers for a casual look, and in the winter I can still wear them with tall boots. Totally versatile.
That muted red t-shirt looks great on you! I need to replace my t-shirts this spring because I wore them all out. Right now, I’m loving my pullover knit sweaters. Mornings are still cold in my area. I do look forward to t-shirt weather.
I have those boots in the brown color. I wear them all of the time. I have 2 pairs, because they are my absolute perfect and favorite boots of all time
Such a wonderful video, Ashlynne!! 💙 My favorite wardrobe basic right now are "under tops" - to wear under your nice tops for additional cozy-ness and warmth, hihi
I like your wardrobe very much and am trying to pare down to basics lately, like you. But I am wondering about your hair style, it is so cute. How do u have it cut? Long layers?
I have a minimum wardrobe too snd love it. My basics are similar to yours, but a don't have jewellery . I need to buy a few tops to replace ones seeing better days. Your video is a inspiration boost. Thanks ashlynne 💜
I love the look of cozy knits or any type of sweaters but at my age I just can’t wear them anymore. Even in the winter in Canada I very rarely wear a sweater unless I’m walking outside for any length of time.
If you're ever looking for other jewelry, check out Chelsea Leigh Jewelry! She's local to us in Charlotte. :) She makes some of my favorite rings I have right now.
I absolutely love all of these. Quick question, I love Analuisa's jewelry, but I ama fan of gold jewelry, I am more of a silver-person. Do you know any other trustable, sustainalbe and minimalistic brands that make the same quality jewelry? 😊
I’d say that my go to items are bodysuits...when I’m not at work. I love pairing bodysuits with skirts/shorts but not with jeans. Idk why that’s different to me but it is 🤣 and that’s the reason why I rarely wear bodysuits at my current job bc I’m only allowed to wear pants
Similarly, why don’t women’s blazers and jackets have secure inside pockets? Men’s always do. ,en get about 7 pant lengths to choose from, we get one. I want garment parity!
Hello there! I've been binge watching your videos for the whole week and I must say I love your lifestyle. Quick question tho, do you prefer giving your clothes away or selling it? Also, is it worthy to invest in H&M and Uniqlo basic clothes? Thankies!
Currently wearing the Anna Luisa necklace I bought after the last time you partnered with them 😁 I love it! I bought my bff a pair of the gold knot earrings too and they're her absolute favorite. They should give you a discount code ;) Edit: oh okay so they did 😆
I would start with base colors 2-3 neutral colors that you like to wear a lot (black, brown, tan, cream, denim) then choose your accent colors. You could choose your accent colors based on what you have the most of already, what colors are your favorite to wear or what you think goes best with your complexion! Probably 2-3 accent colors at most. Some people in the capsule wardrobe niche keep their accent colors neutral as well! I have some capsule wardrobe videos on my channel if you are interested in more details :)
I think it is wise to be minimalist in regard to so many things..as well as clothing, but I have trouble understanding how people can spend the amount of money on these particular brands listed here. I just could not justify spending $200 on boots or even as much $50 on a cardigan sweater. I know that organic is good but still...just so much money. Maybe if a person could find nice brands in thrift stores that might be a way to still wear clothing in a way that is less wasteful, if you cannot afford to spend more than say, Target prices on clothing..which even then, can be pricey to me.
What are some of your favorite wardrobe essentials right now? 🤍
Supportive leggings, but I wear them as undergarments and pj's, I feel naked just wearing them like pants 🤣 and my collection of dresses, I'm going through a phase where I find jeans incredibly uncomfortable, even the stretchy kind.
Take it all, but leave me my skinny jeans! Months of fine-tuning my closet have uncovered that I favor wearing white, navy, and maroon.
Like you, I love cardigans! I own about a half dozen of them and wear them all.
I love anything from Uniqlo, they always use the simplest design to make quality clothes. If you like that brand too, can't wait to see your Uniqlo collection!!
Try American Giant made in US and have several legging options that are more tailored looking
So simple, and yet all these items look so comfortable.
Haha comfort is definitely my secret goal behind everything I wear 😉

Mixing and matching is key to getting the most out of a smaller wardrobe.
Absolutely agree with this!!
I want everyone to wear what they want and mix it in their own way. That, to me, is what is modern.
Hey Mihaela! I agree 🙋🏼♀️👏🏻🙏🏻❤️

That bluey grey top you're wearing in this video suits you perfectly - the colour is spot on 👍👍
I love my cardigans!! Must have in my wardrobe!!
I just thrifted the cardigan because of you. I’m so happy 😂🤍
Fashion is a language that creates itself in clothes to interpret reality.
I loove that all of your clothes are sustainable that's my goal just don't have the budget yet ! Thanks for sharing.

I dig your style its so comfy and totally not over stated and extra. Which I mean in a very positive compliment.
That button front sweater is nice.

absolutely stunning! I love those leggings with that burnt orange top - so flattering on you Ashlynne!!
I love burnt orange too atm, such a sweet video 🌾🧡

Love cardigans , tank tops leggings, and tees, and I also love slip on shoes, have been home a lot and it’s what I’m most comfortable in

I have those boots in the brown color. I wear them all of the time. I have 2 pairs, because they are my absolute perfect and favorite boots of all time
Dark jeans are my favorite
My wardrobe is so clean now that its smiling like Ashlynne.
Sweaters and oversized tees are absolute essentials for me this time of year!
Same!! My two go-to’s for sure!! 🥰
I adore skinny jeans, the are the most flattering for my body type too 😍🌸
Such a wonderful video, Ashlynne!! 💙 My favorite wardrobe basic right now are "under tops" - to wear under your nice tops for additional cozy-ness and warmth, hihi
All your sweaters are so cosy looking
The key to getting a minimal yet functional wardrobe is to consider your job, the style that makes you comfortable, pieces that works for all seasons.
It's new year in my country and I was just head to clean my closet 😂😍❤
Oh that’s awesome!! Regularly curating your closet is huge!!
T-shirt dresses.. so comfy and easy to put on. 💕
I absolutely love skinny Jeans. They are perfect for my petite frame.
Love your channel Ashlynne! Would love to see more how to save money/budgeting videos ❤️😊
Have some videos on that coming soon!!
@@AshlynneEaton great, can't wait 😊
I'm enjoying cosy sweaters and jeans.
Love the first blue sweater on you!
I recently got my hands on the everlane alpaca wool sweater and was wondering how you clean & take care of yours?
I like your wardrobe very much and am trying to pare down to basics lately, like you. But I am wondering about your hair style, it is so cute. How do u have it cut? Long layers?
Ashlynne, where do you get your nice earthy-colored tees? I like them.
I love the leggings, I’m excited to start my minimalist wardrobe 🥰
Hehe me too! Leggings are life!
I have a minimum wardrobe too snd love it. My basics are similar to yours, but a don't have jewellery . I need to buy a few tops to replace ones seeing better days. Your video is a inspiration boost. Thanks ashlynne 💜
A comfy pair of jeans and t-shirt.
I seldom go anywhere.
Honestly, I love that combination. So classic. 🤍
@@AshlynneEaton So do I.
Jenny Kayne is the best for this!
I wish that Just Female Button up cardigan worked out for me! I had to return it because it was so itchy, and my skin is so sensitive 😩

Always sweaters and sweatpants
Lululemon has pocket leggings now and I love their oversized tees!
Tennis shoes in colors for a monochrome look to my outfit

I agree with all of these! Too bad everlane isn't actually that eco friendly. Good on you is a great resource to check the ethics of apparel companies
Wish you had inexpensive options as well.
I live in cardigans all year long! :)
Great video
At 4:01, what is the plant wheat looking thing behind you? I love the look of this at decor but don’t know what it’s called. I see them everywhere!!!
It's pampas grass, I believe.
How do you choose the right colour palette?
I would start with base colors 2-3 neutral colors that you like to wear a lot (black, brown, tan, cream, denim) then choose your accent colors. How tall are you? I'm about 5'1" and I'm trying to picture how some of those pieces would look on me as someone who is also on the shorter side
Lmao my essentials are oversized hoodies, shorts, jogging pants and my anime merch😂
Girl what's your beauty and fitness secret. Such a curious cat I'm 👀❤️
