i hope EA continues to let simmers collab and build the worlds like they did here; it looks so so much better than any other builds we’ve gotten with expansion packs. i love all of you and im so glad i got to see everyone’s beautiful builds 💕
It would be really amazing if they continue collaborating with simmers. I’d love for Devon Bumpkin to get the opportunity 💜
i'm having so much fun seeing everyone make snowy escape builds, this pack looks promising
Actually alot of this furniture appears to be inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright Japan era (early 1900s for those unaware) furniture which was usually called modern style (modern doesn't necessarily mean today for design). And as far as older then that Japan wasn't really known for furniture pre industrialization there is a reason for the mats, low tables, and taking shoes off. It's all about minimalism (lack of clutter), balance, and frankly they just didn't build like that. It was more about making the structure work for the uses instead of making extra things to fullfil a flaw in structure.
I don’t watch James Turner, but I do watch you, Lilsimsie and Deligracy. And you three have all said you could not use move objects, so I’m overall confused. Lovely build and I’m in love with your pack builds too!!

This looks so good! I feel like so many of the objects in here look both modern and traditional which makes me happy, but for the new kitchen counters maybe could use moveobjects to put little curtains to cover the counter fronts in more traditional builds? That might add some versatility. Thanks for another fab build!

I thought each of you said that bb.moveobjects was not allowed. It would make sense, homes that come with the game need to be usable to everyone, without needing the cheats.

I was so confused when James said he could use MoveObjects. I was talking to the screen like “no you are not! Simlicy said so!” Lol but either way, your builds were beautiful and I can’t wait for the new pack to come out!

@@0155__lala No, it doesn’t really affect gameplay unless you block something. It’s also a cheat that doesn’t rule out trophies if you play on console. In fact, none of the “bb” cheats affect trophies.
The reason shuck says that is because items will disappear when placing builds if you don’t add the cheat before placing.
I understood that they can use moveobjects but they can't chance the size of the objects or raise them.
I just realized I haven't congratulated you yet so Congratulations on being chosen, Dawn! You got the hang of building Japanese houses and public venue, I'm so impressed 💜 Are those Snow Monkey statues? That's a cute addition.

Both yourself and lilsimsie said you couldn't. James Turner also had an issue with his windows his aligning, maybe 'move objects' was the real reason for that issue.
He said that wasn’t him. He cleared his name and showed the build that he sent to the EA developers and the windows were fine. Also he told them to fix some of the plants because they were hovering so they would have known that he used move objects because otherwise the bushes wouldn’t hover.

It would have been nice to have the mats that go on the floor, nit sure what they are actually called, but other than that I thought some of the furniture looked pretty traditional. But idk. But on the modern side it would have been cool to have the beds they put in capsule hotels, but we didn't get hotels or bunkbeds so that's not happening. Lol.

when will you update your save file?
Do you have a save file that has all neighborhoods reworked with your own builds? I would love something like that, where it's all done and improved and I can just start a new family without having to fix or replace all lots in all neighborhoods.
She does have a save file, but I’m not sure where to find it.
She has a save file that she will update at one point and I think it is linked in a video. Search simlicy save file and I am sure you find the video where is the information you need.

Sims 4 can be bought from Origin like the expansion, game, and stuff packs.
Does simliciy ever use a facecam? I think the video are more fun and interactive that way🙃

Not trying to be rude, build was lovely except the blinds that you put over the door are driving me crazy. Every time your sim enters or exits their heads going to walk through the blinds. 😫 other than that it would be fine
I can't believe they asked lilsimsie to do builds. She is the most mediocre builder on RUclips. Her 'mansion' lot is pure lameness and has zero Japanese elements.

@@thewinner7382 well I thought about it, and she does have a pretty big following. 1,000,000 subscribers is a big influence. So I think they’re trying to sell their game better because she is a bigger simmer. Idk I think she’s good, but there are definitely better builders.
