@@2jmedia899also, better suspension, braking, and nicer handling. You’re getting more than a sound. Also, the info display is all digital (which I guess depends on preference). Trust me though, you’re getting more than a “BRR”😂
@doobiemcfearson4646 uhm.... the zx4r comes with shitty suspension, the zx4rr comes adjustable from factory, the brakes can be updated, and then a good rider will hawk down a decent 600 rider on the track. If I can stay with 600's on the track with a twin cbr500r then I can only imagine what this will do.

Exactly man. This is a special engine. More so with the right exhaust to really make it sing. And you can use all the gears on public roads without doing 150+ which is honestly nice.
No one is saying it’s faster than a 1000 or a 600. But it’s more fun
Thanks for sharing, your right ZX4RR at the moment is more interesting, if your friends have 6R’s could you race them down the quarter mile just to see the comparison and the times . I see nobody has done that on RUclips yet a proper drag race, all I see is split screens comparisons but if you could do a side-by-side comparison that would be pretty cool.

Idk if this guy is from the US, but here it’s severely restricted power wise. However when you unlock the full power in the ECU, I think it can be close to an r7. Maybe about 60-70 hp
That’s plenty to have fun tbh . 120hp is cool but you’ll be in gears 1-3 most of the time
Really impressed you're transparent about getting this bike partially for more interesting content. But yeah real ones don't need an explanation, and the ones cryin' about it not being a zx6r on yt/tiktok can continue being upset 😆

If you change the air box and put full system exhaust and tune it you can get some more horsepower out of it.

3:56 Funnily enough, they just announced the new ZX-6R today, and it has all that technology, and TFT display now.
I think the ZX-4RR is still a better bike for more situations though. I could never truly use 600cc to it's full potential where I live in the city. And I love the sound of a screaming inline 4. The ZX-4RR can give me the feeling of going super fast, without breaking the law.
Man im so happy I didn’t wait for it I thought the design was gonna be something insane looks just like this but worse kinda like a smooshed down zx10r in the front, 1000cc next bike it is but this gonna be a blasssst i still would’ve gotten this over the other one for many reasons like I mentioned tho

If your basis on value is on how much would a bike be worth in price down the line then you’re missing the point.
I am so happy for you as well, I want this bike and is really in a good price I believe, Kawasaki at its best. I would only put ZX6R upper stearing drive to the ZX4RR and that would be it! As for the rest, I also prefer the ZX4RR for me now above any other. Amazing video, I can smell the newness from here.
It’s the perfect bike for the city. It as a comfortable seating position that is not committed, good sport looks and an awesome soundtrack.

The only thing that could make zx4rr perfect would be a little bit more torque down low. But I still love my zx4rr and it's more than enough for me and I don't go to any track. $3200 difference between the two here in Australia

Congratulations man on your sweet ride, I really can’t decide between this ZX4RR and the CBR650R 😅😅 I don’t like how heavy the Honda is and I love the technology and all the options on the Z. It’s my first bike and I’ve decided to pass on the 400 to ninja 650 but I always wanted that inline 4 sound.
What do you think between cbr650 or zx4rr?
get the zx4rr, arguably in all aspects more enjoyable if you don't mind the price. if you intend to upgrade in the future to a bigger bike, get the ninja 400, its an all around good beginner bike, but the zx4rr sounds sexy ofc. unrestrict it for the full power.
I had a cbr650r. It was an excellent bike, and I do miss it, but there's a little bit of the wow factor with the zx4rr that the other bikes don't have. It's a special model like the old 400s of the 90s
in my country the zx4r cost 14000$ and the zx6r cost 28000$ should i buy the zx4r?

also bought the ZX4RR instead of another bike. In my case, it’s because I have no interest in overtaking a big bike with another big bike. I enjoy overtaking with a small bike. I usually race at Circuito de Jerez. Greetings from Spain! Here, the ZX4RR has 80hp.

Less is more. For pure fun & enjoyment when street riding, I would rather use more of this more of the time than some of a 600's & practically none of a 1000cc's full potential.
Yes liters don't make sense for most people which is why 600's exist
3:09 .. "the first inline 4/400cc" ... *buzzer* .. wrong. The ZXR 400 from 89-99 was a 398cc inline 4.
yeah there was a cbr400 during the 90s that was inline 4 right, super 4 as well.

it's disappointing that the 2024 ZX-6R still doesn't have electronic throttle control and a blipper, I hope they refresh it again and add those features before it comes time for me to upgrade from a ZX-25R , otherwise maybe I will just skip over it and go for a ZX-10R

I have both. They have very similar ergos. I can't tell much difference

what u mean by 1 and 1000 in the US? im debating between The zx6 and this zx4. my local has one in stock atm.
Supposedly the U.S. only got 1000 ZX4RRs this year. Hopefully more coming next year, we'll see!
You have been riding with the exhaust muffler off now for quite a bit are you worried that will harm the bike? or is the muffler irrelevant to the catalytic converter and ho2 sensor and ecu ?
It’s definitely got less back pressure and off air/fuel ratio. Going to be a slow death unless it gets dyno tuned.

I just bought the 40th anniversary zx4rr $15000 in Australia and i have the 500 40th anniversary SE (I'll give to the mrs to ride. I did think about zx6r but I'd rather get 2025 650 in KRT $13200. Also zx6r 40th anniversary $18200

Yeah I was quoted $32 a month for zx4RR full coverage and my ninja 400 was $28 a month. I sent it and got the zx6r and pay $130 a month lol still not that bad but it’s $100 more.

How different does the power feel compared to n400? I see its detuned to 52 hp.
Still feels lot faster tbh but with the tune itll feel way better because even the throttle is restricted, say your flooring it but tells computers your giving 70% throttle and stuff need’s tune

R7 is cp2 motor making 75hp and 45 ft-lbs. Pulls harder, especially in low/mid rpms to get to max speed, about the same hp once zx4rr is tuned

Yes I just found a 40th anniversary edition and more around. Same with zx6r 40th anniversary (Australia, Victoria I live)
The only problem I have is the skinny rear tyre... I know why it's there, I know it makes sense, I just can't get over how ugly it is. The whole bike is perfect, but one look from the back makes it look like a 125cc trying to hard to look like a litre bike.

So I'm 47yrs old and my body has been through more then ALOT of flips and crashes on all types of vehicles and even bicycles & skateboards.. So personally I've had a couple Super Bikes... I started back in 2000 with an R6, and after that I had bought my buddies 98 GSXR SRAD 750 which was fully worked and chromed & polished. I've had my share of racing around, pinning the throttle, even cop chases.. These days my style would be what I mentioned.. Putting around with a shiny and powerful bike is my style. I understand it's not for everyone so when I expressed a Fat Tire and Single Side Swingarm this is my personal preference. Again it's definitely not ruining handling, more so only changing it. But I do LOVE the look. I really dislike the very long swing arms look, I know it's strictly a Drag Race set up. And rear tires I believe go up to 360 wide? Which is stupid wide lol, I'd go with a 280 or so.. Again, to each his own!

@@tsharabi4 I had a 250cc Suzuki dirt bike for a little bit when I was younger, all my cars are manual. I just fear im a quick learner and would get bored of a standard 400cc quickly. ZX4RR I could see having forever- especially after exhaust+ECU flash
I have first love kinda vibes with this bike, and really want that high RPM sound. I did end up buying one, should be getting it delivered to my house this weekend.
I dont have my temps yet, going to try to get that tomorrow! My little 18 year old brother has a GXSR 600 so he can help me out too =)

I mean the area ur in def is a huge factor but otherwise idk y u would spend what 9k on a 400 cc bike when u could just get a 600 cc but if that doesn’t fit ur area cf mofos newer 400 cc bikes look way better and r pretty dam cheap aswell there’s a couple around me for 4-5k I mean Yhea the tech is probably fantastic to have and the krt color is always welcomed but I don’t think that’s worth the extra 4k personally
