Arredondo’s lawyer has been stringing the Uvalde school district along for weeks and weeks and weeks, postponing the inevitable. At the last moment, the lawyer submitted a multiple-page argument to the school board demanding that the school district reinstate Arredondo and give him back pay. The lawyer threatened to a lawsuit against the district if he was terminated. What chutzpah! If the now, former chief, and his lawyer truly believe in his cause, why did they not show up at the meeting in person? Instead of submitting a written document. Retired LEOs and veterans are saying this. The state DPS was too involved in the response to the school shooting. Arredondo’s lawyer has been stringing the Uvalde school district along for weeks and weeks and weeks, postponing the inevitable.
At the last moment, the lawyer submitted a multiple-page argument to the school board demanding that the school district reinstate Arredondo and give him back pay. The lawyer threatened to a lawsuit against the district if he was terminated.

If the now, former chief, and his lawyer truly believe in his cause, why did they not show up at the meeting in person? Instead of submitting a written document.
