  • As the city of Uvalde, Texas mourns and struggles to understand the actions of law enforcement during that shooting, stories of heroism are emerging. Jacob Albarado is a Customs and Border Protection agent who was off-duty that day, but rushed to Robb Elementary School to save his wife and daughter and assist in the evacuation of dozens of other students. He joined CBS News to discuss his heroic actions on that tragic day.

What a soft, gutless, idiot. A baby Huey. While a demon is slaughtering babies. The other "officers" wandering around without any common sense. The windows were never utilized. The action should have been to distract him with purpose, rush the windows. This cowardice is going to affect how all US citizens regard safety and protection. And the good citizens like the hero at Greenwood Mall have the right idea to stop the mass killings while Congress talk, talk, talk. Get a gun legally and protect group gatherings, hire security guards with guns for schools, stores, malls, parades, etc. We need security in this country and Uvalde has shown us that we need security beyond the PD. The Uvalde PD officers that did nothing should be prosecuted. Daniel Coronado, a naive good ol boy, told other officers that the killer was barricaded. "We have him contained.". He meant well but he was an example of a mind like a minimal paid security guard in a library. I pray Almighty God punishes Peter A and all his goons who did nothing.

There’s been several reports from the beginning about cops going in to get “their own children”. Why is he doing interviews? He doesn’t see anything wrong with ONLY being concerned with his family. In my experience some people see what needs to be done and from their previous experience and training they start to do it. Even though you always get a rush of adrenaline that you need to control. Some people through no fault of their own cannot control that Rush of adrenaline and do something coherent to help.
