  • The trauma team from San Antonio's University Hospital waited almost two hours for the first patient from the school shooting to arrive from Robb Elementary School in Uvalde on Tuesday. KSAT anchor Steve Spriester got a behind-the-scenes tour with the trauma specialists as they recounted what happened that day and when they finally realized that the patients they'd prepared for were never coming.

It has been stated on news programs that calls to 911 stated there were children still alive who were shot. It is thought these children died due to blood loss and autopsies will show if they had help earlier, could they have lived. I cannot imagine the heartbreak those families are going through.

I could see the parents trying to run into the school and the cops holding them back and the parents yelling and screaming and saying what are you waiting for go in there. 😳😳😳What the HELL. Also 911 calls were steady coming into the DISPATCHER who they're saying wasn't in contact talking to the chief about what was happening inside the classroom. The children were so brave telling about the killer and the teachers and students that were shot. These cops were not trained right or first time rookies or cowards whatever it was they failed those children .

There was one kid who survived saying her friend was alive but stopped breathing the longer they waited… it’s so heartbreaking to think about how many more could’ve been saved. Other bullets, hollow points, are designed to shatter on impact, damaging as much tissue, organs and other tissue as possible. I was nurse, maid, cook, etc. I could see them get sicker and sicker and I would hide and cry all day. Working so hard and watching your people get sicker breaks your heart and I wasn’t trained for all that so it hit me hard. I had to send them both to hospital on the same day and both unfortunately didn’t come back home. I cry and cry because I couldn’t save them so I can’t imagine how these heros feel when they can’t save people over and over again.
