    Jeff, Of all the millions of singing videos on YT, yours have become my go-tos. So many helpful warm ups! After years of being a frustrated, limited singer, my voice is developing in a healthy way. Thank you.

    For years now I'm having a hard time trying to understand when you say "for those that would like to follow along".... I'm thinking we're all here following along. I mean, what is everyone else doing??
    Call me a superb student, but i'm always following along

      I'm just meaning the keys on the piano - but you're right, now that I think about it, that's a funny thing to say!

    Your videos have helped me get through the pandemic where we as a choir were instructed to warm-up on our own. Your videos are wonderfully tailored and it shows how much thought you put in to care for your audience's voices. As opposed to some who would just lazily put up warm-ups for gradual clout and view buildup.
    Your time and efforts are much appreciated Sir Rolka.

      Thank you very much! I appreciate that and am glad that the video warm ups were helpful when you had to do so on your own! I hope you continue to use and enjoy them!

    Hi Jeff, thank you for this sustained singing video series!! I was looking for the Tenor range after practicing Baritone's and Baritenor's during the last 2 weeks. Can't wait for Alto range to complete my full warmup. (I'll give mezzo-soprano a try for head voice register). Thank you so much for your dedication!

    Oooh. That final exercise trips me up quite a bit! LOL. I can see that I'll be practicing that one quite a lot until I get it right.
    Also. OMG. I finally got some vibrato on this one! First time it actually came out! No, I wasn't trying to force it before (I know better than that.) I figured it would come out on it's own eventually. It just hadn't happened yet until this morning. Sweet. Thank you!

    Always, always, always, vowels are concentrated on...like a body builder, trains tube vocal chords...I'm so loose rite now and calmed

    Hi, Jeff. Quick question: in exercises where you count the end of each cycle (e.g., the last one in this warmup session), is it your intention that we hold through each “four and”?

    • @JeffRolka
      @JeffRolka  2 года назад +1

      Great question. When I sing the example, I sing it for the duration that I would have you emulate. The held note at the end of a phrase is generally two beats, but get the counting from my example to be on the safe side!
      Great question!
      Jeff
