      @giancarlomonsalve  Месяц назад +1

      Thank you! I’m really glad to hear it’s helpful. This challenge is common, but with consistent practice, releasing the tension and keeping the tongue in the correct position, forwards, always touching the lower teeth, is key. As I always say, and as I was told by many of my great teachers, this makes a big difference. Keep working on it, and you’ll definitely see progress. GM

    question - i hear vowels but what about the consonants? I get the tongue position you showed where the vowels sound really good but when your singing lyrics , with your tongue out, the consonants won't come through. Just wondering about that. Your vids are excellent and love the advice.

    • @giancarlomonsalve
      @giancarlomonsalve  Месяц назад +1

      Great question! The tongue position I show is crucial for achieving the ideal vowel sound, but I understand your concern about consonants. Consonants are articulated mainly through tongue movement and proper placement of the lips and teeth, but the key is to avoid disrupting the balance of the vocal space that you create for the vowels. You want the tongue to stay flexible and not interfere with the airflow or resonance. It might help to think of consonants as quick “interruptions” that should snap back into position without changing the open throat and support you have for your vowels. It’s about finding the right coordination between vowel space and clear consonant articulation. Keep experimenting with the sensation, and I’m sure it will improve!
      Thank you for watching and for your thoughtful comment.
      GM.

    Hi, so should we raise the back of the tongue for high notes?

    • @giancarlomonsalve
      @giancarlomonsalve  Месяц назад +1

      Absolutely not! According to the vocal schools I come from, it's essential to keep a balanced space between the tongue and the soft palate at the very back of the throat. As Franco Corelli used to say, you need to find that space between the tongue and the palate to allow for proper resonance and freedom in the voice.

    • @giancarlomonsalve
      @giancarlomonsalve  Месяц назад

      Thank you so much! However, it is indeed ‘keep your tongue forwards,’ or in Italian, ‘tenga la lingua avanti.’ I know this because I come from that school, and it’s exactly what Ferri Leodino used to tell me. Leodino was a direct student of Melocchi, and this advice was passed down through that lineage.

    А, что делать, если звук в середине, прям такой же как у вас, но как только я подхожу к верху звук начинает тухнуть?

    • @giancarlomonsalve
      @giancarlomonsalve  Месяц назад

      Здесь важен правильный контроль дыхания и поддержка. Ваша грудная резонансная полость должна оставаться активной на всём протяжении, особенно когда вы переходите на высокие ноты. Возможно, ваш звук “тухнет” из-за недостаточной поддержки или слишком резкого перехода к головному резонансу. Попробуйте сосредоточиться на равномерном расширении груди и открытой глотке даже при повышении высоты звука. 💪🏻🎶👍🏻

    А, звук надо ощущать в одном месте?

    • @giancarlomonsalve
      @giancarlomonsalve  Месяц назад +1

      Концентрируйтесь не столько на самом звуке, сколько на ощущениях вибраций, которые создаются в костной структуре. Например, попробуйте почувствовать вибрации в грудине, в зубах, а также частично в тканях, ощущая лёгкое жужжание вибраций на губах. Это более важно, чем сам звук.
