    OMG Rossini scale is hurting my brain. 🤯 I’m sure it will be easier the next time around. 🤞

    I used to practise and warm up with your videos years and years ago! I’m going to have to continue singing, i’m ready to bridge the road back to the joy of singing. Thanks again.

    Quite a ways back, I gave up on trying to decide which of your videos is the best. Instead, I gather a number of them that meet my needs of the moment...range, transition, vowel alignment and so on (always appoggio)...and just do them regularly for a while. As somethings get better or some slip a bit or just to challenge myself with something new, I'll make a change. From time to time I add a video that strikes me as especiailly good and today's qualifies. I like this one a lot.

    I think this will help me to remember how to sing tenor 🙏
    What would be great is a whole octave of Rossini practices, perhaps with a chordal accompaniment as well. I’ve been experimenting with a compressed version, 1̂3̂5̂4̂2̂7̂1̂, which is nice with ascending key areas in whole steps (or you can switch to minor for I-vii°-ii-?I vibe: 1̂3̂5̂4̂2̂7̂1̂ 2̂4̂6̂5̂3̂ ♯1̂2̂). Something like that would make a gentle warm-up and learning practice for the full Rossini practice, I reckon.

    Thank you so much! I can watch the improvement of my voice nearly everytime I do this practice and get warmed up the agility practice before. Works even when driving in my car towards the rehearsal... 😊

      Several years' worth of MP3s from my channel are available on Patreon! Here's a link:

      I took 'tapes' figuratively - if you meant it literally, I'm afraid the best that I could offer would still be Patreon. You could then record the MP3s to tape if you wanted to!

    Hi Jeff! I like Rossini scale. about Fach system, could this exercise leads to become a Rossini tenor? I mean starting at F#4 to C#5? Thank you maestro! 🎶🎤🎹🙌

    • @JeffRolka
      @JeffRolka  Год назад +2

      Thank you Chris! Hard to say. It may help you focus an align your voice so that you get more of that range, but your instrument is your instrument. How you use it, to be sure, will make it feel different though.

      @@JeffRolka thank you so much for answering! I'll try to focus my vocal sound on that way. I get for sure that exercise will help me 🙌🎶🎤✨

    Hey Jeff, should I finish all the videos in High Note Bootcamp before starting using a video like this one? (since I'll have a smoother transition at the secondo passaggio by then, in other words, singing "correctly")

    • @JeffRolka
      @JeffRolka  Год назад +1

      Good question. Maybe, but see how you go. You might try this video and see if you can spot the challenging bits that you can then identify in HNBC and work on the individual practices for.

      @@JeffRolka Thanks Jeff. It's been one month since I asked that, and I think if I talk to my past self, I wouldn't recommend me to jump into these videos haha. I was belting way too much and that was the only way I knew how to sing, and that'd beat the purpose of these exercises, which weren't designed for belting. In my case, should definitely finish HNBC first :p
