So many snake like creatures are always in the abyss or one with it, whether they’re kind like orobashi, the 2.4 lantern rite boss, and the battle pass story (shown after every update) where she fell into corruption and a snake was depicted. Evil or not, it definitely is somewhat linked with abyss and it’s not a stretch to call baizhu’s snake a parasite. I have to do research on her though because I forgot what her name refers to. theres many more snake references i probably can’t remember at the moment but celestia has been viewed as the bird. when Vanessa ascended, she became a bird. In mondstat the city of freedom, we learn to fly with a kite/glider, but oddly enough it resembles bird wings rather than just wings.(shape and depending if you have maxed out city reputations) the wings are so obviously different from traveller’s original ones. the birds wanting to fly story from amber, the bird from the wolf/fog island in inazuma. call it a stretch if you will i don’t mind, but the abyss has way more noticeable ties to snakes that you cant help but wonder if celestia has it’s own “mascot”

Character Story 5 says that the Moon Carver once read her fortune, and she was marked by both the "solitary star" and "disastrous evil", which resulted in her homicidal urges. Similar to your ideas about the fate written in the stars. Though the red ropes used to tie her soul sounds very much like the red thread of fate. Wonder how that would tie in to her future story, and who the other end would end up with. :D

Either Yokai or Kami considering their Japanese lore. While Yokai tend to be more mischievous in nature, Kami can be anything ranging from good to evil spirits. That's why most scholars (I am studying Japanese religion rn in uni) do not translate Kami as "diety" or "gods" and leave it as is.
If the Traveler is immune to this and be able to purge and purify then it should be the same case with Archon Residue as Abyssal Magic is definitely the strongest and more powerful out of two because there are actual cases of it killing Archons and Gods and can render their power useless and corrode it. However maybe the Traveler can utilise Abyssal Magic to their own will like how the Abyss Twin has and so it’s possible that when the Traveler goes to Khaenriah they could use Abyssal Magic/Energy at their disposal and maybe even master Khemia as they already a lot about Alchemy and will probably learn a lot more about Alchemy in Sumeru and since the Traveler has an artifact/weapon that has abyssal energy that being the Festering Desire which already has an incredible amount of power and corruptive power kinda also foreshadows this.
@@breadninjaplays3836 It was plot induced stupidity because the domain in Xiao’s story quest was even bigger and had a lot more archon residue/Xiao’s Karma and notice how it was at the very point where the Traveler got pissed off and decided “that’s it I’m gonna rip his spine and use it as a xylophone or skipping rope” they collapsed but before they didn’t despite the fact they were quite literally pissed to the point of going by themselves to personally kill any fatui they see especially in the delusion factory.

Yes mate, they are godlike entities who play alot of chess. But Aether (or Lumine/ the side you pick) is kinda out. This mimic the Atem vs Bakura match up, back in Ancient Egypt. Out traveler is out there collecting the chess pieces (or technically HIS magical power) while Abyss Twin is waiting in the shadows - watching. They do so much & so little to thrive the other but not get him out of the game. Reminds you on so many other cases aswell? Enemy: I will help the good guy because he is weak af... Abyss and Abyss Order both are different as the Abyss stands for an underworld realm where the latter is some kind of government entity that rules in Abyss.. so, Abyss is not actually the evil or corrupted but the Abyss Order is which I think they were exposed to the leyline roots.
But the Abyss has been hinted that it has a will on it's own. Kitsune Saiguu pleaded to the Abyss that her memories will remain after being consumed. Childe's stories give hints that the Abyss intended to change Childe's fate. Nurturing Childe's bloodthirsty side. Ex: "Or perhaps one should say that this dark realm has sensed the burning ambition in this boy's heart" from Story 4
Unrelated, but with each passing updates, the significance of the Archons seems to become less and less. Merely elemental beings who just so happen to be strong and witful enough to survive the battle royale called the Archon War.
They were gods before they we Archons, and at least the original seven were powerful and driven enough to defeat rival gods and reshape the very landscape. Plus we learn from Venti they gain additional power from ruling their people. They are clearly impressed but we don't know why Celestia wanted Archons.

With all the talk of sin and purification in Enkanomiya with regards to strong emotions(ie. the things that make you get a vision) and ghosts, and how when gods die, their energy becomes a corrupting force similar to Abyssal energy, it got me thinking. What if Abyssal energy is the impure state of elemental energy? And the ley line trees draw in and purify that energy through their roots in the Abyss, thus bringing pure elemental energy into Teyvat?

Idk if you've played it yet but in the 3rd part of the event we try to order food for kichiboushi at Good Hunter and Wanmin restaurant and they both say that Kaeya has ordered food for several dozen people at the Goth Grand Hotel, a hotel that is currently filled with Fatui, as you know. What the heck do you think Kaeya is doing? I'm really stumped.
i kinda doubt it will happen but i just realized one thing I'd actually like to see Xiao teaching Collei how to handle the power inside her, since it's the same thing he suffers from.
This adds more to the theory an in-game character mentioned, an NPC did atleast. I forgot what quest it was but there is an NPC that said that they are convinced that Celestia and the Archons are from another world. And seeing how they live long lifespans and their presence has caused catastrophes and great dangerous changes like a parasitic species shows for it. What if whoever runs Celestial is from the same world as the twins? What if infact they were banished from that world for wanting to experiment with dangerous technology and weapons and wanting control that they were banished and then ended up on Teyvat where they could do as they wanted? And the sustainer of heavenly Principles is their constructed AI firewall that is there to repel any "hackers" (aka other people capable of doing the same thing as them such as people from their world, like the twins) Celestia could technically just be a space ship and the truth of this world is that it's sort of a simulation run by some super genius with a god complex and the Abyss is the "virus" that is trying to ruin the simulation and dismantle it by corrupting files (aka archons or other powerful beings) as to foul Celestia's plans? What if whoever is running Celestia is just using Teyvat to harness power or create a weapon that is the size of a planet to try and go on to invade other worlds and the Abyss twin and the Abyss in general are technically the good guys trying to prevent an intergalactic conflict? And the reason the traveler can purify things that are corrupted is because they're technically an "upgraded" version of software that has more capabilities than the person running Celestia.
Thats... Interesting, and suggesting Tevyat is kind of a space ship, sounds make sense to me. Remember In the scene of Monstad chapter after Signora stole Venti's gnosis? The MC asked to Barbara (what kind of planet is this?) And Barbara seems confused, like she didnt understand what planet is. I think all citizens on Tevyat share the sama thing.
I've just realized, we haven't had any mention of abyssal corruption of items since festering desire... we've had Tatarisuma (i definitely misspelled that) and the cleansing ritual, but those were on a way bigger scale that we needed other methods to purify, methods that were overseen by other people and we were just there for protection.
I am suprised you didn't mention Kairagi and rogue samurai being corrupted by Tatarigami! They are classified as human, just like treasure hoarders, but unlike treasutre hoarders, they actually die when you defeat them. That's a weird one.

I think that Abyssal corruption is similar to Honkai corruption, if not they're the same thing. looking at Honkai beast you wouldn't think threes many similarities but Mobius' and Kevin's MANTIS forms tell a different story. Also I agree with the sentiment that Signora is affected by Abyssal corruption, her transformation sorta lines up, also how she became feared parallels the MANTIS soldiers of Honkai, regular humans saw them as monsters given their origins. Overall, pretty much all of the things Abyssal corruption does is also what Honkai corruption does. As for the Traveler, given their origin, lines from the cbt, and a small clue on one of the Honkai dev streams.. I think the Traveler themselves are MANTIS soldiers of some sort, different to the 14 flame chasers, but still the same concept nonetheless. Theres a Honkai beast, or rather a pair of them, that are basically twins and I think those are the beasts that Travelers have been fused with. As for their purification power, I don't think the Traveler is purifying corruption, but rather absorb it to feed their MANTIS form. It would explain why the Abyss Sibling hasn't purified at least part of the Abyss order just by being around them.

I don’t think they have anything to do with the Honkai Impact 3rd universe because one their home and possibly their universe seem to have been completely annihilated, although someone with the initials K.K was talking to them before they left their home world and the way they purify a corrupted source doesn’t look like they’re absorbing it, it looks a lot more like they’re purging and purifying as name suggests as for the Abyss Twin they probably haven’t tried doing or purification just happens subconsciously and their subconscious isn’t purifying anything but either way they don’t have anything to with Honkai Impact 3rd or any of the events that happened there.

Venti and Zhongli were promoted into archons after the war, they were gods before, they were given gnosis which adds more power to a god depending by the amount of influence they have on their nation. So their original power + gnosis = archon. I guess before that each god was just a being that was really powerful

You know, I have a theory that Phanes is actually one of the Higher order of Angels from our world that got Isekaid by accident. And then from there, he tried to reopen a rift back to our world/heaven and failed so he decided to make Genshin Impact's world in his image (He tried to play God). He then encountered and learned about the 7 Primordial Dragons who reigned unchallenged in Genshin Impact's world. Thus, he used some advanced Angelic Magic to his knowledge to create other angels (The same way God created His His 4 Archangels and the Heavenly Host to serve Him) that are significantly weaker than the regular Angels in our world but more than enough to overwhelm the 7 Dragons as they do battle against them. Coming out victorious, he then decided to remake Tevyat in his image. Creating mankind, mythical beast, other deities, et cetera.
To add to the theory where the traveler is an angel, what if she called the twins an outlander because they were fallen angels in Celestia (or heaven)??? Like idk ... MAYBE Lucifer who is also a fallen angel?! 🤔🤔
I think all forms of corruption are simply called something different in each region but they're all the same. I have no evidence for this outside that the colors seem to be related to darkness in each circumstance. Just a personal headcanon of mine until we get confirmation of more. Also, edit/addition, Thones are the third-highest on the highest tier of the angelic hierarchy. They're just under Cherubim, who are under Seraphim. Idk if you left that out because you wanted to simplify it or if you missed that part but yeah.
Abyssal Energy real life comparison = Drugs This brought to mind the 3 supposed primordial forces: Creation (The Wyld), Pattern (The Weaver) and Destruction (The Wyrm) Thanks to White Wolf gaming lol. Similar to the 3 Fates it is a Trinity of existence. The Chaos of creation spun into an ordered existence and then broken down eventually to maintain a balanced existence. Madness can exist at any stage thus good and evil don't apply at any level so it's best not to fall into thinking any facet is more pure then another. It's for these reasons I remain neutral towards the goals of Celestia and the Abyss Order. All facets are required on some level of existence. This is the primary lesson in the series SnowPiercer and other shows about maintaining life in a bubble with limited resources. Proper management is essential. Creation unchecked is pure Chaos. Order unchecked becomes an oppressive world where life doesn't truly exist. Absolute destruction meant to balance the other 2 becomes corruption instead of a means for Rebirth. Thus we tread the cycle of eternity.

Here's hoping that the new event in Enkanomiya will discuss more about the Abyss and the goals of the Abyss Order. Now that the Traveler has acquired the book "Before Sun and Moon", what will best boi Enjou do to acquire it? Also, why didn't Aether ever ask Enjou about Lumine and what/how she's doing? Previously Aether had an excuse since he didn't encounter anyone from the Abyss Order before Enkanomiya in Inazuma, but I do hope that he gets to ask Enjou about Lumine since Enjou is far more amicable to him than the Abyss Herald from before. One thing that confuses me about the Traveler's purification power, if your theory about them being Seraphim (or multi-dimensional aliens) is correct, then how come they are able to purify Abyssal corruption but still are affected by the Tatarigami and the karma of Orobaxi when they confronted Scaramouche? And most importantly, if what you say is true in that a restored Traveler with their old powers back can help fully heal corrupted individuals like Albedo or Xiao, then why hasn't Lumine cured or purified the Abyss Order? Lumine has been in the Abyss or leading the Abyss for almost 500 years (even longer if time is slower in the Abyss and Lumine was there the who time), and unlike Aether her power seems to be mostly restored. If Lumine is immune to the Abyss and can purify those affected by it, then why hasn't she done so for the Abyss Order? If they truly are the mutated forms of the people of Khaenri'ah, then she should have all the more reason to do so. Unless their corruption was caused by Celestia, but isn't the Abyss antithetical to Celestia?
I think both Aether and Lumine are immune to Abyssal Energy however I think both of them can also bend it to their will, also about the Archon Residue part of your comment which refers to Orobashi’s Tartarigami, I think it’s either that the Genshin Impact team doesn’t have a proper lore master and thus they forgot, they went on board with the Traveler being a blank slate/self insert character and use that to advertise other characters or what I think is the most likely case that it’s plot induced stupidity to advertise characters that would make them money and that they don’t care about the Traveler and intentionally hold them back due to plot and this further proven by the fact that they are capable to take on possibly the strongest of the four winds Dvalin by themselves but can’t escape the grasp of two Fatui Agents despite also being more than capable doing that and when they were falling from the Jade Chamber they didn’t even try to use their Wind Glider and Anemo to bring themselves back up and possibly even the other falling Millelith Soldiers and this only to name couple of them because there’s actually more cases like these.
I believe a miasma is something gaseous. Perhaps a fog or vapor. That’s my recollection of the definition. I think the miasma corruption is what Scarmouche aimed at the traveler Maybe 🤷🏻♂️

theres many more snake references i probably can’t remember at the moment but celestia has been viewed as the bird. when Vanessa ascended, she became a bird. In mondstat the city of freedom, we learn to fly with a kite/glider, but oddly enough it resembles bird wings rather than just wings.(shape and depending if you have maxed out city reputations) the wings are so obviously different from traveller’s original ones. the birds wanting to fly story from amber, the bird from the wolf/fog island in inazuma. call it a stretch if you will i don’t mind, but the abyss has way more noticeable ties to snakes that you cant help but wonder if celestia has it’s own “mascot”

@@ChillwithAster Shenhe's case sounds like fate to me. Character Story 5 says that the Moon Carver once read her fortune, and she was marked by both the "solitary star" and "disastrous evil", which resulted in her homicidal urges. Similar to your ideas about the fate written in the stars.
Though the red ropes used to tie her soul sounds very much like the red thread of fate. Wonder how that would tie in to her future story, and who the other end would end up with. :D

Either Yokai or Kami considering their Japanese lore. While Yokai tend to be more mischievous in nature, Kami can be anything ranging from good to evil spirits. That's why most scholars (I am studying Japanese religion rn in uni) do not translate Kami as "diety" or "gods" and leave it as is.
If the Traveler is immune to this and be able to purge and purify then it should be the same case with Archon Residue as Abyssal Magic is definitely the strongest and more powerful out of two because there are actual cases of it killing Archons and Gods and can render their power useless and corrode it. However maybe the Traveler can utilise Abyssal Magic to their own will like how the Abyss Twin has and so it’s possible that when the Traveler goes to Khaenriah they could use Abyssal Magic/Energy at their disposal and maybe even master Khemia as they already a lot about Alchemy and will probably learn a lot more about Alchemy in Sumeru and since the Traveler has an artifact/weapon that has abyssal energy that being the Festering Desire which already has an incredible amount of power and corruptive power kinda also foreshadows this.
But didn't archon residue cause him to pass out in the delusion factory ?

Abyss and Abyss Order both are different as the Abyss stands for an underworld realm where the latter is some kind of government entity that rules in Abyss.. so, Abyss is not actually the evil or corrupted but the Abyss Order is which I think they were exposed to the leyline roots.
But the Abyss has been hinted that it has a will on it's own.
Kitsune Saiguu pleaded to the Abyss that her memories will remain after being consumed.
Childe's stories give hints that the Abyss intended to change Childe's fate. Nurturing Childe's bloodthirsty side.
Ex: "Or perhaps one should say that this dark realm has sensed the burning ambition in this boy's heart" from Story 4
Unrelated, but with each passing updates, the significance of the Archons seems to become less and less. Merely elemental beings who just so happen to be strong and witful enough to survive the battle royale called the Archon War.
They were gods before they we Archons, and at least the original seven were powerful and driven enough to defeat rival gods and reshape the very landscape. Plus we learn from Venti they gain additional power from ruling their people. They are clearly impressed but we don't know why Celestia wanted Archons.

The more the Archons lose their dominion over their region the weaker they shall become. Considering how Tsaritsa has managed to prevent that (for now at least) I think it won't be long till Tsaritsa is given the crown of the Strongest amongst the Current Seven. Or maybe she knows that the time of Archons has begun to fade and if she does not take any step now, it won't take very long for her to corrode (or get weak) as well
With all the talk of sin and purification in Enkanomiya with regards to strong emotions(ie. the things that make you get a vision) and ghosts, and how when gods die, their energy becomes a corrupting force similar to Abyssal energy, it got me thinking. What if Abyssal energy is the impure state of elemental energy? And the ley line trees draw in and purify that energy through their roots in the Abyss, thus bringing pure elemental energy into Teyvat?

Idk if you've played it yet but in the 3rd part of the event we try to order food for kichiboushi at Good Hunter and Wanmin restaurant and they both say that Kaeya has ordered food for several dozen people at the Goth Grand Hotel, a hotel that is currently filled with Fatui, as you know. This adds more to the theory an in-game character mentioned, an NPC did atleast. I forgot what quest it was but there is an NPC that said that they are convinced that Celestia and the Archons are from another world. And seeing how they live long lifespans and their presence has caused catastrophes and great dangerous changes like a parasitic species shows for it.
What if whoever runs Celestial is from the same world as the twins? What if infact they were banished from that world for wanting to experiment with dangerous technology and weapons and wanting control that they were banished and then ended up on Teyvat where they could do as they wanted? And the sustainer of heavenly Principles is their constructed AI firewall that is there to repel any "hackers" (aka other people capable of doing the same thing as them such as people from their world, like the twins)
Celestia could technically just be a space ship and the truth of this world is that it's sort of a simulation run by some super genius with a god complex and the Abyss is the "virus" that is trying to ruin the simulation and dismantle it by corrupting files (aka archons or other powerful beings) as to foul Celestia's plans? What if whoever is running Celestia is just using Teyvat to harness power or create a weapon that is the size of a planet to try and go on to invade other worlds and the Abyss twin and the Abyss in general are technically the good guys trying to prevent an intergalactic conflict?
And the reason the traveler can purify things that are corrupted is because they're technically an "upgraded" version of software that has more capabilities than the person running Celestia.
Thats... Interesting, and suggesting Tevyat is kind of a space ship, sounds make sense to me. Remember In the scene of Monstad chapter after Signora stole Venti's gnosis? The MC asked to Barbara (what kind of planet is this?) And Barbara seems confused, like she didnt understand what planet is. I think all citizens on Tevyat share the sama thing.

I've just realized, we haven't had any mention of abyssal corruption of items since festering desire... we've had Tatarisuma (i definitely misspelled that) and the cleansing ritual, but those were on a way bigger scale that we needed other methods to purify, methods that were overseen by other people and we were just there for protection.
I am suprised you didn't mention Kairagi and rogue samurai being corrupted by Tatarigami! They are classified as human, just like treasure hoarders, but unlike treasutre hoarders, they actually die when you defeat them. That's a weird one.

I think that Abyssal corruption is similar to Honkai corruption, if not they're the same thing. looking at Honkai beast you wouldn't think threes many similarities but Mobius' and Kevin's MANTIS forms tell a different story. Also I agree with the sentiment that Signora is affected by Abyssal corruption, her transformation sorta lines up, also how she became feared parallels the MANTIS soldiers of Honkai, regular humans saw them as monsters given their origins. Overall, pretty much all of the things Abyssal corruption does is also what Honkai corruption does.
As for the Traveler, given their origin, lines from the cbt, and a small clue on one of the Honkai dev streams.. I think the Traveler themselves are MANTIS soldiers of some sort, different to the 14 flame chasers, but still the same concept nonetheless. Theres a Honkai beast, or rather a pair of them, that are basically twins and I think those are the beasts that Travelers have been fused with. As for their purification power, I don't think the Traveler is purifying corruption, but rather absorb it to feed their MANTIS form. It would explain why the Abyss Sibling hasn't purified at least part of the Abyss order just by being around them.
That is more possible if you add the theory of the Honkai Impact's Project Arc is Teyvat itself

I don’t think they have anything to do with the Honkai Impact 3rd universe because one their home and possibly their universe seem to have been completely annihilated, although someone with the initials K.K was talking to them before they left their home world and the way they purify a corrupted source doesn’t look like they’re absorbing it, it looks a lot more like they’re purging and purifying as name suggests as for the Abyss Twin they probably haven’t tried doing or purification just happens subconsciously and their subconscious isn’t purifying anything but either way they don’t have anything to with Honkai Impact 3rd or any of the events that happened there.

if im not mistaken, venti and zhongli were basically 'promoted' into gods when they won the archon war right? so what makes havria, osial etc gods?
Venti and Zhongli were promoted into archons after the war, they were gods before, they were given gnosis which adds more power to a god depending by the amount of influence they have on their nation. So their original power + gnosis = archon. I guess before that each god was just a being that was really powerful

Maybe the heavenly principles that the sustainer is sustaining are some rules that the traveler broke, and so they’re getting kicked out to sustain the heavenly principles by the sustainer of heavenly principles?

It makes me wonder if Abyssal Magic can be learned by others. The only amount of Abyss Magic I've seen is from the Lectors, and Dain (maybe Childe too). Is there a certain condition that needs to be fulfilled? Are there other consequences besides corruption?

You know, I have a theory that Phanes is actually one of the Higher order of Angels from our world that got Isekaid by accident.
And then from there, he tried to reopen a rift back to our world/heaven and failed so he decided to make Genshin Impact's world in his image (He tried to play God).
He then encountered and learned about the 7 Primordial Dragons who reigned unchallenged in Genshin Impact's world. Thus, he used some advanced Angelic Magic to his knowledge to create other angels (The same way God created His His 4 Archangels and the Heavenly Host to serve Him) that are significantly weaker than the regular Angels in our world but more than enough to overwhelm the 7 Dragons as they do battle against them.
Coming out victorious, he then decided to remake Tevyat in his image. Creating mankind, mythical beast, other deities, et cetera.

I think all forms of corruption are simply called something different in each region but they're all the same. I have no evidence for this outside that the colors seem to be related to darkness in each circumstance. Just a personal headcanon of mine until we get confirmation of more.
Also, edit/addition, Thones are the third-highest on the highest tier of the angelic hierarchy. They're just under Cherubim, who are under Seraphim. Idk if you left that out because you wanted to simplify it or if you missed that part but yeah.

Abyssal Energy real life comparison = Drugs
This brought to mind the 3 supposed primordial forces: Creation (The Wyld), Pattern (The Weaver) and Destruction (The Wyrm) Thanks to White Wolf gaming lol. Similar to the 3 Fates it is a Trinity of existence. The Chaos of creation spun into an ordered existence and then broken down eventually to maintain a balanced existence.
Madness can exist at any stage thus good and evil don't apply at any level so it's best not to fall into thinking any facet is more pure then another. It's for these reasons I remain neutral towards the goals of Celestia and the Abyss Order. All facets are required on some level of existence. This is the primary lesson in the series SnowPiercer and other shows about maintaining life in a bubble with limited resources. Proper management is essential.
Creation unchecked is pure Chaos. Order unchecked becomes an oppressive world where life doesn't truly exist. Absolute destruction meant to balance the other 2 becomes corruption instead of a means for Rebirth. Thus we tread the cycle of eternity.
I hadn't even considered the connection between corruption and wyrm taint. That's some keen thinking.

Probably because each gnosis ties their archon straight to Celestia, with it as their power source, so they not only get themselves buffed but also have access to some degree of Celestial magic?

Here's hoping that the new event in Enkanomiya will discuss more about the Abyss and the goals of the Abyss Order. Now that the Traveler has acquired the book "Before Sun and Moon", what will best boi Enjou do to acquire it?
Also, why didn't Aether ever ask Enjou about Lumine and what/how she's doing? Previously Aether had an excuse since he didn't encounter anyone from the Abyss Order before Enkanomiya in Inazuma, but I do hope that he gets to ask Enjou about Lumine since Enjou is far more amicable to him than the Abyss Herald from before.
One thing that confuses me about the Traveler's purification power, if your theory about them being Seraphim (or multi-dimensional aliens) is correct, then how come they are able to purify Abyssal corruption but still are affected by the Tatarigami and the karma of Orobaxi when they confronted Scaramouche?
And most importantly, if what you say is true in that a restored Traveler with their old powers back can help fully heal corrupted individuals like Albedo or Xiao, then why hasn't Lumine cured or purified the Abyss Order? Lumine has been in the Abyss or leading the Abyss for almost 500 years (even longer if time is slower in the Abyss and Lumine was there the who time), and unlike Aether her power seems to be mostly restored. If Lumine is immune to the Abyss and can purify those affected by it, then why hasn't she done so for the Abyss Order? If they truly are the mutated forms of the people of Khaenri'ah, then she should have all the more reason to do so. Unless their corruption was caused by Celestia, but isn't the Abyss antithetical to Celestia?
I think both Aether and Lumine are immune to Abyssal Energy however I think both of them can also bend it to their will, also about the Archon Residue part of your comment which refers to Orobashi’s Tartarigami, I think it’s either that the Genshin Impact team doesn’t have a proper lore master and thus they forgot, they went on board with the Traveler being a blank slate/self insert character and use that to advertise other characters or what I think is the most likely case that it’s plot induced stupidity to advertise characters that would make them money and that they don’t care about the Traveler and intentionally hold them back due to plot and this further proven by the fact that they are capable to take on possibly the strongest of the four winds Dvalin by themselves but can’t escape the grasp of two Fatui Agents despite also being more than capable doing that and when they were falling from the Jade Chamber they didn’t even try to use their Wind Glider and Anemo to bring themselves back up and possibly even the other falling Millelith Soldiers and this only to name couple of them because there’s actually more cases like these.
