quick question for you you have the newbie frog too, did u pay for it or did i got it by mistake i didnt pay for it and well i have it lul can you pls respond bc idk
The loading screen message makes sense. "Constellations:Wherever you go, whatever life throws at you... In Teyvat, the stars in the sky will always have a place for you." probably meaning that even if u die you will be recorded by the Irminsul in the sky.
When u showed ded qiqi chibi i got a random thought. Perhaps the reason Qiqi keeps forgetting everything is Irminsul considers her as dead and keeps collecting her data making her memory empty again.
There is also a character that supports this theory, Aloy. I know she's technically a collab character, but with her coming from another world she has never completed a cycle, therefore she has no constellations.
Literally all their videos are just theories from reddit that've been meme packed dude- wei isn't a god bro is just a person chill out Not saying his videos are bad, i think having the memes is a great idea to extend the audience of genshins lore. But the fact that he doesn't give any credit at all to the original theorycrafters doesn't sit right with me
6 plus their original form without constellations when you don't get them. That means there's been 6 samsara cycles plus the current one making this the 7th samsara cycle. Though there could be more, 6 might just be the number the gave us gameplay wise not lore wise. Venti is knowledgeable of samsaras and weirdly believes we've already met, which makes no sense if this is our "first" samsara.
@@dtk1981 So hold on...... what are the cycles exactly? do we know?? Like, I could see the fight of the primordial one, the fight with the second who came, the archon war, and the cataclysm, so it's like 500 years each.
@@8pril745 there is no specified time but we know even some of the God's are knowledgeable of them. Venti(connected to the god of time), Ei( by association to Yae Miko) , and Nahida(who has literal control over samsaras). Even zhongli might know considering his lore . I'm under the assumption that humans personal cycle begins when they are reborn. This means a data copy is made making 2 copy of a person and at death that saved file becomes an additional constellation. By this logic our siblings original body life and soul have died in the last cycle which would have also been their first. They WERE a descender until they died. Our CURRENT siblings is nothing more than the new cycles "data copy" this means that they have been recorded into Irminsul. By this logic the other descenders aren't recorded because they haven't actually died or have no "saved file" in Irminsul that could be uploaded. Maybe the reason we can see our siblings memories are because we are absorbing their constellations memories by accident. Since we haven't had a cycle we have 1 chance to actually chance fate because we are playing without a saved file.
@@8pril745 yes actually i believe that this cycle ends with a great war..thatswhy dain in travail say "war has already begun but its just the continuation of previous battles" so technically every 500yrs great war occurs, everyone die then they become materials(particularly vision holders)transform into stars and are reborn again then again cycle repeats as idk but there are already 3 great wars..one with second who came, then the gladiator war and then khnaeriah getting deleted by gods. also we have just reached the middle part of genshin's story so i believe if this is true then we will get more wars and stuff happened bcz MIHYOYO LOVES WAR. and dain already knows abt this
I'm not sure about the other archons but Venti probably knows about this cycle. "Then allow me to join on your quest ONCE AGAIN"- Venti "Hello" voice line "Traveler, as you sat off on your journey ONCE AGAIN, you must remember that the journey itself has a meaning"-Venti at the end of the archon quest. He's also connected to the God of Time so it makes sense for him to know about this. Another interesting thing is that when you open the menu the wind and Paimon are the only ones that aren't stopped.
THE SAMSARA THEORY MAKES SENSE - besides 6 constellations, there’s also 6 endings in 4-star character story quests! (Noelle has 6 as well it’s just that traveler decided to hang out with her two separate times and each occurrence has 6 possible endings)
Calling it now, Celestia is the remains of train from Honkai: Star Rail. ;p Feel like they're going to interweave some lore between their games at some point.
@@strclimaco6488 Is that what the first big expansion will be you think? I know we'll do the 7 elements plus Light and Void by the time we get to Godfall. Just wondering what's next - Celestia and Khaenria'h??

Ok, so what I'm getting from this is; since both Aether and Lumine don't belong to Teyvat, initially their memories are not turned into Irminsul backup drives. But since, at some point in her journey Lumine had died in Teyvat, her memories were absorbed by Teyvat. So now she was reborn into the next Samsara as the abyss princess with a full record of her existence as backup. She was also a Descender along with Aether, but she died and lost the Descender status.
@@dazaifeetpics hmm...maybe we have to save the abyss twin in the future? From getting killed? I mean, all I can tell is that Lumine died once in Teyvat. That's how the Irminsul has records of her. She is not destined to die, she's destined to repeat her cycle if she dies.
Wait so like what about the other descendars? Primordial one(doubt they'd be able to die) 2nd who came (it was said they were defeated by phanes but they didn't die afterall) And 3rd we don't know it might be Alice but that just makes her more suspicious
@@erastiesa ...I don't remember if the Irminsul has recorded information on the other descenders (Because I don't play Genshin my lowball pc and phone can't handle it). Fun fact, if Teyvat is indeed a giant Irminsul bubble then when the twins arrived on Teyvat, their arrival was like breaching a functioning computer. Like a virus. And then the software's antivirus (Sustainer of Heavenly Principles) decided to pay them a visit. Don't know why she called the twins humans (I think they are cosmic entities) but from the Unknown God's point of view Aether and Lumine look human and she doesn't recognise the twins as Gods (twins were originally not part of the system).
@@sayansaha155 read in artifact i forgot the name. At first the twin is from a high race called by heaven and heaven give a permission to them. But the artifact tell this in kind of personification word. And also if you remember pale princess and 6 pygmies. At the end 6 pygmies is an evil being and if you notice pale princess met knight of light whis is aether because his name means light and also pale princess is paimon because in recent quest sorush called paimon as a pale being. So 6 pygmies is the kind of samsara related? Because now is the seventh samsara
This theory works when you wonder why Alloy doesn’t have any unlockable constellations. Lore wise, Alloy could have arrived/descended into the samsara for the first time like the traveler and she doesnt have info recorded in irminsul either.
@@sub-superI mean like yea but wouldn't it be cool if Hoyo found some way to make even Collab characters have some kinda lore to them within the genshin world?
I would say it's just not spelled out straightforwardly in game, ahnd is too complex to be able to understand too easily with the little pieces given throughout the story and world exploration. What's fun is how they leave breadcrumbs as to what is happening in the game, for people like this to delve into them and figure it out while the story hasn't progressed to a more straightforward point just yet.
I’m glad more people are starting to pay attention to what Yae Miko says, she’s one of the few who knows that the traveler isn’t from Teyvat + even if she tries to disguise it as a “joke” when you invite her to your tea pot she says that it is her duty as the guuji to understand every knowledge in teyvat, as Raiden’s familiar, of course she knows more than what it seems.
I've always found it weird that venti when first meets us acts like he recognises us. And even his "hello" voiceline says that we have forgotten him and literally every archon/hexenzirkel member is striving to record data in different forms (ballads, rocks, allegories etc) and thus we r called the witness because our memories can't be tampered with "YET" But judging from venti's voiceline, it seems we HAVE actually had our memories tampered with... THIS MAKES NO SENSE AND THIS THEORY MAKES SO MUCH SENSE AND GIVES ME SO MUCH EXISTENTIAL DREAD LIKE AAAAA- Me am losing my fucking mind, thanks for reading to my rambling rantness...
Don't forget his appearance at the lantern rite, where he knew about the rainbow tour thing and even the traveler himself was wondering how he knew about it
@@吗4啊16 ohhh could be plausible yes, but doesn't make sense why he would just leave us there for an undetermined amount of time without doing anything to help us tho if he was frndly What if we died? Did he already know the traveller is immortal? Since we had to fish out paimon, who then taught us the language and everything of teyvat
I thought we landed in teyvat and when we wanted to leave, we were stopped by some unknown god. Later on we woke up and completely forgot what happened on teyvat before. So I’m guessing Venti knows us cause we kinda travelled in teyvat before? But we woke up and forgot him?
@@xayahtrinajhinie8690 "Aether and Lumine arrive in Teyvat, yet for some unknown reason the player's chosen sibling does not wake and remained asleep for an unspecified amount of time. The Traveler's sibling eventually manages to wake them up and says that they should leave, with both twins witnessing the destruction of Khaenri'ah.[1] However, an Unknown God, describing herself to be the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles, blocked their way. A fight ensued and resulted in one of the twins getting consumed by red cubes from the Unknown God, and the other trapped in a seal which caused them to lose their powers. Five hundred years later, the Traveler wakes up, separated from their sibling, and stranded" This is directly from the wiki thus confirming that before our encounter with the sustainer, we didn't actually travel around teyvat. But ofc we don't know much about what happened with the traveller before our encounter with Asmoday (sustainer) so your theory could be right?
watched this after fontaine release, which (I've heard) has pretty much CONFIRMED that teyvat is in samsara cycles. very interesting to see that it was already predicted back here
Is that why Aloy doesn't have any constellation yet? because she just only arrive in teyvat. She never experience the samsara (meaning zero constellation)
yeah. but can someone explain traveler's c6 with many elements tho this is his first travel in teyvat? hmmm. nahida said theres no record of him in the irminsul meaning no data, no death, no constellation BUT STILL has c6 of diff elements lmao
@@ajemberwood6119 maybe as twins (almost genetically identical), Irminsul thinks that the traveller is our twin, so all the constellations are fake because the belong to our twin, that's why we change places in caribert quest
I've been looking at honkai impact lore too and it makes this video even more mind blowing because forced human evolution is basically the entire objective of the honkai themselves
i'm so glad someone else mentioned honkai bcuz hoyoverse has been really smartly connecting honkai and genshin. honkai is also going through a 50,000 year samsara, where the world resets after the honkai destroys it, much like wei's point in the video. i was literally freaking out at the similarity. same multiverse same rules lmao
This connection with Honkai just crossed my mind as well. Also what if Visions are granted to those who made it to the end of a Samsara? Those who were stronger in one way or another or have the potential to show results or progress somehow. Their data would be more valuable than the regular NPCs who don't contribute anything to each new cycle. Which also makes me think... what vision bearers have actually died that we know of?
There's also the fact that in the Sumeru promotional teaser video Nahida herself says that "everything in this world runs in a loop". She could've been referring to Sumeru's dream experiment, but I think she was also referring to Teyvat's Samsara as a whole (hence she has connections to the Irminsul, she would know exactly what the Irminsul does to the world of Teyvat). This indeed supports Minsleif's video, where she claimed that Nahida's powers make her pretty dangerous. Considering that Nahida is connected to the source of this "program" called Teyvat, she is a pretty big deal ngl.
@@justlikethis6084 I mean didn't the traveller come with his/her twin? They should both have their data stored in the Irminsul, but one of them doesn't.
When Hillichurls die they turn into red particles, so does that mean that they're no longer trapped in the samsara cycle despite being previously human? Maybe the people of Khaenri'ah found out about this cycle, and that was one of the reasons why they turned into the abyss, especially seeing as previous lore points to thr people of Khanri'ah voluntary causing the cataclysm. Maybe irminsul and the primordial one are more fearsome than we thought.
this was something i kinda thought about before and it gave more evidence when we saw our sibling again. That's why in the Caribert archon quest, we were basically doing the same thing as our sibling. not just as a dream but as our sibling's past reality. In a way, we were recreating the same decisions our sibling made hundreds of years back.
@@ellalehto671 and they're all using noblesse, so everyone will support MC in the end 😃 kidding aside, i sense an Avengers Endgame vibe at the final moments of Genshin
Based on the samsara constellation theory, Teyvat has had 6 cycles at the time of Traveler's journey. The abyss twin however, has witnessed the 5th cycle, assuming each cycle ends when the heavenly principles destroy Teyvat using cubes and nails. Also, this may imply that you don't need to die in order to enter the next cycle, unless the twins died when they were cubed by the sustainer of heavenly principles, in which case, both of them should have entered into another samsara cycle... This is getting more and more interesting... Also, astrologers are dataminers. Nice.
it's interesting when u think teyvat is actually a shape or form of simulation of some kind. within it, it has full of "data". forbidden knowledge is considered as "virus". celestia descend divine nails every time there was a catastrophic event happened as a form of "Kaspersky anti-virus" but since all the good data already become a corrupted data because of the virus, it ends up wiping and affects the whole thing in that particular "folder" which results in cleansing but also huge cataclysm. still can't really explain why khaenriah people got cursed though but yea.
@@arrexu01 maybe the twins arrived on teyvat near the end of the 6th cycle which is why they tried to flee but then the sustainer of heavenly principles interfered with their departure. mc got put in an indefinite slumber filled with nightmares while the abyss twin was just sent away and witnessed the end of the 6th loop.
No one, and i mean NO ONE in the genshin community makes as powerful theories as Wei, while masking it as a hilarous joke, he is single handedly unraveling the plot. I love your theories so much!
These aren't his theories- how does no one notice this? Weis theories are all taken from reddit and other platforms, at least all the videos of his I've seen. Some interesting detail to share after completing 3.6 world quest Khvarena of Good and Evil, Zurvan mentioned that Dain and abyss sibling helped them to quell the calamity. Interesting how our sibling got mentioned again after aranara, this proves more that we are following sibling footsteps and somehow already directed to follow it that way (like samsara). I have a theory that Irminsul will record traveler's data after completing the seven. Also the second "Enjou" in 3.6 was sus.
@@pyc912 the name Klingsor is not directly mentioned in the Khvarena world quest, but if you read some notes / journals that are placed in the underground ruins below the 3.6 desert map, his name is mentioned a lot as a human (not an abyss). I forget the detail of the notes but I remember Klingsor was tasked to watch someone (probably from the akademiya) investigating the ruins. Also the name above the HP bar of the abyss herald we fight after Najusena reveals his betrayal is Klingsor. That's why I thought op referred to Klingsor as the second "Enjou".
In Sumeru's new 3.6 region, Realm of farakhkert there is a broken world tree deperately fighting against the influence sealed off by the fake sky, and the "sky" around the hole looks like tattered fabric. Once you completed the quest the tree partially heals and a sad song starts playing, it sounds a lot like a lullaby. I think all Rukhadevata wanted is a world where everyone can live a simple and happy life, grant them a shelter against the dangers, for gods like herself, descenders and vision holders a chance to learn, so when the day comes they will have a chance to fight against whatever threatens the world, I doubt its only Celestia, I suspect something more esotheric like an accumulation of existential dread made manifest, like Madoka magica's witches
I always thought, "one's vision represents their ambition" means their element represents their type of ambition. And the archon of that element represents it too: anemo would be for ambition of freedom/to break free from something and live as they please, geo would be achieving material/social success or prestige/noblesse by honoring their words/values, electro would be for the famous pursuit of eternity/continuity (keeping traditions etc), dendro would be ambition for knowledge and spreading/using knowledge for good, hydro would be ambition for justice, etc
This theory makes actually so much sense. Also, allow me to add something. The picture shown at 6:05 depicts also a huge mountain in the middle, with a tree on top, that builds somehow a connection to the underworld. And now it's getting interesting. The mountains equivalent in Genshin is the Musk Reef, formerly known as 'Pilos Peak', as we know from the unreconciled stars event in version 1.1. Now, there isn't a tree in the middle of Musk Reef, as it should be, if it refers to the picture. But what's the icon of the Spiral Abyss? Right, it's symbolizes by a tree! And as it just so happens, the Spiral Abyss is a connection to the underworld (Abyss), like the picture would suggest. I don't think it's a coincidence. It fits just way to well in this bigger picture of Genshins lore and makes this theory even more plausible. Nice video.
Wei cooking good today. I also had the same idea about the constellations. Lore wise the ultimate fate of person is to complete their constellation (reaching their destiny). Gameplay wise you get a C6 character, the strongest version of the character.
I think it also makes sense that constellations and visions make the characters stronger, since they're basically the same thing, just from different people
Someone in the comments said that if each character has 6 constellations, then it maybe means that 6 Samsaras have already passed so far.. Well in the previous video Wei talked about the fact that Zhongli has been in this world for more than 6000 years.. So maybe if there are 6 cycles cause of 6 constellations, it may mean that every cycle lasts for 1000 years, hence we could have arrived in Teyvat in the early stages of the 7th cycle where everything is new and Irminsul has no information about us. Instead our twin came in the world in the previous Cycle when the distruction of Kh'anria (dunno how to write it) occured. That could explain why Irminsul has informations about our twin, and why our twin knows that our journey has an "End": the end of a cycle of 1000 years.🤔
this explains why our sibling is not considered a descender because they already completed their journey once meaning a cycle. so their data has been collected when teyvat ended its cycle and they have been registered in irminsul. not only that but they have been unable to change the fate of teyvat which is one of the requirements of a descender....this makes perfect sense. only the traveler is considered a descender because we are yet to finish our journey.
I've actually considered that the whole game is a Samsara (and have seen others bring it up as well) but it is only now that you have lain it all out like this that I truly think this theory is true. One of my biggest struggles with Genshin Lore, especially since the Caribert quest, is the JACKED-UP timeline. Like, no matter how I thought about it, the timeline was not adding up for shit. But, if this theory is true, then the time line makes sense because it then becomes possible that some information we have been fed or experienced took place in a separate Samsara.
This game has a clock I mean it's a very specific design choice .. Why would a real world need a clock to operate time.. Changing time in game is equivalent to fast forwarding a video
Samsara plot... Just like Honkai Impact, Hoyoverse really love connecting these two, and I mean Genshin and Honkai are parallel universe of each other but some rules don't change in both universe...and Samsara is one of those rules ig maybe?
10:02 OMg- thiS makEs soOo much sense, because in game when we get the character again we get a constellation of them ~ meaning we get “another life” of them :o
Wow this explains so much. Every video is like a massive lore bomb. genshin story is so good i cant wait to reach the very end. I wonder how confusing the ending will be to people who hadn't bothered to explore the lore though
Thinking of how the Traveler can change fate, Diluc's Constellation is about being a lonesome guardian in the darkness, and how his high Ascension Voice-Over is about how he thought he'd half to fight alone in the darkness, but we made him realize his mistake.
Woah, thats a cool detail, and proof that traveler actually changes something. Zhongli is wrong, we aren't here to just sit and watch and record. We break the cycle.
Hoping to do something similar for Lisa then. About the Fate-changing thing. Especially it's been very well known that she always had death flags. She must've died young quite often during the past Samsaras.
I think venti is zongli and venti are the centre, like nilou. His hello voice line says "join you ONCE AGAIN" . But this doesnt line up cuz trav never went through a cycle, but is possible that venti is aware of it, and can reset it at any point, though this will relate him to istaroth. It could be that he hadnt, but the last cycle he force ended, which allowed for trav not being absorbed by the irmansol
i had this thought before of when mihoyo said that lumine and aether are both the canon traveler, it's because once they reached the end of the journey, everything repeats itself, and no matter which twin you picked and no matter which twin is the abyss twin, they're all canon because they've happened before too. But I guess it's just a stupid idea of mine.
It also makes sense when you consider the words from the Queen of Khaenriah when she died at the end of the story (sorry i dont remember the name of the book) she says: "...The dream goes on" (and refers that her death and the death of others is just the end of one dream as a new one will begin.) Just like how people were dreaming and repeating the cycle in Sumeru archon quest. That would also explain Dainsleif's line about Khaenriah in the Teyvat trailer: "In the perpetual meantime of a sheltered eternity, most people are content to live and not to dream (the rest of Teyvat). But in the hidden corners where the God's gaze does not fall, there are those who dream of dreaming." (Khaenriah and the Abyss).
This reminds me of the main story of Princess Connect Re:Dive. At one point the MC has to choose between risking it all to defeat the villain, or start over. If the player chooses to start over, the story will restart, but the beginning will change, with the MC remembering what happened. And based on something a character (I think the main villain, if I remember well) says, this has happened before many times, though the MC didn't remember it. Now, that world is actually a videogame that the characters are trapped in, and based on what is said, it recently got reconstructed somehow (hence the MC's memory loss). There's also the Seven Crowns, which are like the gods of that world (actually the developers of the game), and they're basically like the seven Archons in Genshin. Now, if Teyvat is a simulation, how come the twins arrived there in the first place? Unless it's not a literal simulation and it's more of a metaphor. Basically like a simulation on a computer, but on a reality-altering level. Unless Teyvat was put in a samsara in order to find a way to fight off something. Which is another parallel with Priconne; in there the main villain wanted to achieve godlike status and power for some reason (she later says it was to fight off an even bigger threat), and she gathered power by absorbing the life force of people, and also by "farming" a type of monster called Shadow that is made when a body is separated from its soul or something like that. But there's also another type of monster that is basically a dark replica of a real person, but if I'm not mistaken it's said to be of similar nature to the Shadows. Which makes me think that type of monster is actually remnants of someone who died in a previous cycle. And why am I saying all this? Well, in Genshin, basically every form of energy is absorbed or transported by the Ley Lines, and souls are also a form of energy. From what we've seen so far and from what I remember, the conditions for a ghost to be formed in Genshin haven't been explained, or at least "unfinished business" isn't one of them, at least among the ghosts in Enkanomiya. So ghosts are probably made up of the data that couldn't be absorbed by Irminsul for some reason. I think this could be more likely to be real when it comes to the ghosts in Enkanomiya; since Enkanomiya is not part of Teyvat, data remains unabsorbed more often, but only data regarding memories and personality (hence why the ghosts don't have a defined for). There's also Tsurumi island, which has its own ghosts, though those are remnants of their own cycle. But instead of being a simulation, it was just a loop based on what was recorded that happened on one day. Ok, I'm not gonna go into much detail in explaining Tsurumi island because what I'm about to say might explain it. So far, the place that has the most ghosts and remnants of data (such as feelings and events) is Inazuma, particularly in the islands that have the highest concentration of Electro energy (Seirai Island and Tsurumi Island). Electro is electricity, and what do computers run on? Electricity; but too much can cause it to malfunction, which may explain the strange phenomenons seen in Inazuma, such as time in Seirai seemingly being stopped, and the loop in Tsurumi. Even if the loop may not have been accidental, it does prove the kind of things Electro can do. Now, Dendro is the element of life, and can seemingly take an infinite amount of forms. Irminsul is a tree, albeit not a literal one. Though, the Dendro Archon seems to be the only one who can naturally draw and manipulate information from Irminsul, so it's at least a tree in that Dendro is naturally tied to it. BUT, so far, we have seen that Electro has also been capable of connecting to Irminsul, and the Electro gnosis even helped Nahida connect to Irminsul to talk with Rukkhadevata. Now, we know that Quicken, the Dendro+Electro reaction, is tied to the lore, based on what the devs said. And Dendro+Electro reactions seem to be the only ones that aren't based on any real thing, that produce unnatural effects, seeing how when you hit a mushroom with Electro it boosts its capabilities to abnormal levels, and if you pay attention, when you hit the Terrorshroom with Electro, it shakes its head as if it were stunned or unable to handle the power, which further supports the "abnormal" effect of Electro on Dendro. And if Teyvat is a simulation by Irminsul, and Irminsul functions mainly with Dendro, then having a high concentration of Electro in one place will cause abnormal effects on reality. Regarding Enkanomiya, another possibility is that Celestia disabled the full absorption of data there to avoid secrets from before being found by someone on Irminsul. There's also how Hilichurls don't seem to be absorbed into Irminsul, since when they're defeated they disappear with a red effect rather than a blue one, which may imply that they're deleted instead of absorbed by Irminsul, and then replaced by a new instance. Or maybe they're not allowed to die until a specific amount of time, so when something happens to them they're deleted and another instance of them is placed.
YOU ARE A GENIOUS ABOUT THE ELECTRO AND DENDRO THING OMG. WE HAVE TO COLLECT ALL THE THEORIES FROM THE COMMENT SECTION AND SEND THEM TO WEI TO MAKE ANOTHER VIDEO OR SOMETHING, OR JUST YOUR THEORY
The only thing that bugs me about this theory is Venti. He greeted us like an old friend and wanted to accompany our journey once again despite us not recognizing him. If that whole samsara cycle was true, then we would at least have finished one cycle and have one constelation. But then it also means that Venti somehow doesn't get affected by the samsara cycle.
Man, You reveal the whole plot within 10min. Well, I figured out many things because I know the Honkai story, but I never thought about Yae, Al Haitham, and Nahida giving that many clues about the truth. You are really a genius!!
Samsara stuff makes a lot of sense! In 3.0 livestream at last there was video of Abyss twin and Enjou where at last the twin says “ I wonder what choice you’ll make Aether” as she knows what will happen!
GREAT! As always. How can you get me amazed every time?? We were speculating in the dark and although so much is still unknown, finally our picture of Teyvat is taking some shapes. In 3.6 we also got a lot of lore - and - what amazed me - stated very clearly, not some small and vouge bits that were more incentives to speculations and discussions that real information.
AND THAT'S WHY ALOY DOESN'T HAVE A CONSTELLATION it says too "the time has not yet come for this person's corner of the night sky to light up mind blowing
Whoaaa i have always confused in the Nahida Archon quest when she talk our twin isnt a decender.. Why she's different with our mc? And then your explanation is hitting all the marks! Good job Lord Wei! Its our pleasure to learn a lot from you :)
you finally woke up wei 😭 love the intro, kimi no na wa was not only the first ever anime i watched, but is still to this day my favourite anime ever saw shinkai's latest film suzume no tojimari at the cinema yesterday, man that was fantastic
I had somehow a theory and idea that the world runs in a loop and it's all just a simulation but I never really dug too deep into it to make a coherent thought process. Thank you for your hard work in making this video, summarizing my scattered thoughts 🙏 Also I'm surprised you didn't mention about the mistranslation of Destiny (the Chinese words were the same as Heavenly Principles, meaning the Abyss Twin is just fighting against Heavenly Principles) and the fact that the starry sky of Teyvat in anywhere but the desert is shaped like a dome, which would align perfectly with your World Tree Ball theory and constellation fruit.
Wait! Today I found a new loading screen from this patch, it mentions "cycles of life" too: *Pari:* So long as the Khvarena and the Amrita continue to flow, the Pari shall last endlessly through the *cycles* of life.
also in the beginning when the twins were about to leave teyvat due to khaenriah's destruction, they mentioned your journey is not over, the heavenly principles said that. and then shot us back into the world to continue the samsara cycle, our twin woke up earlier and completed it while we are directly following in their footsteps due to how coordinated the quests have been, *spoilers: the most recent quest for 3.6 for the new area, the pari there mentioned that a masked soldier (dain) and a blonde haired person which looked identical did a favor for them similarly and the pari are on good terms with those two, along with a one armed soldier (which may be the leader of the fatui) end of spoiler** but does that mean that we have to complete the samsara cycle and the end of the world is khaenriah? didnt someone try to go to the underworld (khaenriah) and make it up again or was that another city, its related to sumeru but i dont remmeber...
*spoiler on the 3.6 world quest From the paper in the ruin facility says that "there's a power that can transcend Abyssal Power and that power is Human Evolution" Even Alberich himself says "Anyone who can control the abyss can control everything" Imagine having a power that transcend the abyss
I agree with the samsara concept. It really point to that direction especially after 3.6 khavrena world quest. The question is for what is the "irminsul hive" purpose. Plus Whether the heavenly principal is has the same role as will of honkai
I personaly really love the fact that this theory could explain another theory : the one where Dain is Aether from the future. Maybe Dain is here to help the twin to escape from that cycle because he already lived this ... Or maybe Dain is an Aether who failed to accomplish something and thats why he tries to help us, so we could achieve where failed. Yeah pretty cool and iteresting theory
This is actually backed up from a world quest from Fontaine where you discover the "world formula" on which is stated that the results of the calculation is the same every time. On a cycle
Absolutely! Venti says in the very beginning of the game when the traveler is going to leave Monstadt to go to Lihue for the first time that he loves the air in the trees, but I,’ve said it before! He’s said that to the traveler before? How could he possible when he has only met the traveler at this time. Dainslief is not a good guy. He is the Boughkeeper with access to Irminsul. According to Scaramouche The twins were summoned by the heavenly principles and the Jester (who was a royal Madge in Khaenri’ah before the fall of the city) (before he became the head of the Fatui), had plenty of time to control and manipulate the twins minds with the power of Irminsul and the magic spells/potions the Jester had available. Scaramouche also says he does not know when the twins entered or left Khaenri’ah. Then he tells the traveler he has met them before. Where? How? When he was kabukimono prior to becoming a part of the Fatui? The twins are going around and around in a circle! Catch 22? De ja vu? Just like the ceremony of Sansera. When the twins become (through magic)the Abyss prince/princess, (who they are not) sometime there after they loose all memory of everything, (maybe because they are descenders) accept wanting to find there brother/sister. They end up on the beach outside of Mondstadt with Pieman and the game begins again. Also when they meet Dainslief in Mondstadt, when he asks the three questions, he says that their answer is like their brother or sister. How would he know if he had not met the twins before? The twins have not done what they were sent to do. Until then I imagine there will be more clues to the effect that they are going around in circles, until they find the correct path that will lead them to save Teyvat. Of course the game is only half over and if it is to continue for 2-3 more years everything here may become a moot point. 🤣
That means their accumulated data from past samsara are being added to their current life causing them to evolve. Remember when the meteors fell and we find out it was a constellation the characters gained the "information" of that person effectively living through peices of his life.
This explain how Chlotar Alberich (after the contact with the "Sinner") already knows who are the Abyss Twin, and call her "the princess" even if it was the first time they meet and before the abyss order be created (by himself). And considering the theory that the "Sinner" is the Second One who fought agains Phanes in the past (and is also a "Descender"), this also explain how "the rules of the time doesn't seem enough to stop him", as Dainsleaf says.
I'm glad to see that the lore archon is thinking the same like me. I've been commenting this on several videos that Irminsul is Teyvat's cloud server created by the Celestia. They are using it to monitor everyone. When a person or a group of people comes to know about knowledge they're not supposed to, the irminsul reports it and celestia takes action. Same happens when the people with ambitions when they are eligible for a vision. It's important to note that irminsul affects only people. It cannot alter time. All we witnessed as samsara was the irminsul's re-execution of data from a particular period of time, which makes all others except the traveler unable to feel it mentally. However, they can feel it physically. After experiencing a lot of samsaras, the people become extremely tired. This proves that, the samsaras aren't due to time travel, but the re-execution of happenings recorded in irminsul. Its something else thats controlling the time. In the game clock too, we can't travel into the past. Even if we're changing the time into the future, it's only the people and the fake sky are being affected by it. The flora, fauna everything else is independent of that time travel. So this clock could be something based on irminsul. It's like it can only change certain things, excluding some. The tree of Windrise suddenly got into my mind when he showed the world tree. And we know, Alice and Vanessa ascended to celestia from Windrise. That tree is SUS.

6 plus their original form without constellations when you don't get them. That means there's been 6 samsara cycles plus the current one making this the 7th samsara cycle. Though there could be more, 6 might just be the number the gave us gameplay wise not lore wise.

And then the software's antivirus (Sustainer of Heavenly Principles) decided to pay them a visit.
Nice video.
Earlier, before the Archon War, the Dragonspine had a tree on its peak. Like Irminsul-like tree.
Wei cooking good today. I also had the same idea about the constellations. Lore wise the ultimate fate of person is to complete their constellation (reaching their destiny). Gameplay wise you get a C6 character, the strongest version of the character.
All you've proven is that swiping a credit card is the character's ultimate fate.
Yeah, we already knew that :)
not my bennet
The editing is so good, goddamn it these videos are fun.
"Babe wake up new Genshin lore just dropped."
4:12 TRUEE!!!
THIS IS ENDLESS CYCLE OF FARMING ARTIFACTS!!!!!
One of the loading screens also say that no matter what life throws at you, the stars in teyvat will always have a place for you
7:22
Now I am afraid of losing my 50/50 and getting c6 Qiqi
-with how much excitement do you wait for these videos?
-YES.
Actually just love to see that Minsleif voiced the story parts
More About Freminet: III "i read in a book that when people die, they turn into stars and watch over us from the sky"
10:02 OMg- thiS makEs soOo much sense, because in game when we get the character again we get a constellation of them
~ meaning we get “another life” of them :o
My favorite part is the connection between samsara and the abyss siblings.... It literally blew my mind....
Wow this explains so much. Every video is like a massive lore bomb. genshin story is so good i cant wait to reach the very end. I wonder how confusing the ending will be to people who hadn't bothered to explore the lore though
Mihoyo watching this going "oh no he found out we have to change the plot"
8:05 I think this is also connected to how Mona cannot make predictions for venti...
I've been waiting for this!
No wonder when we wish on a character they come in the shape of a star.
true. thats why i see qiqi's constellations in my whole sky anywhere i look my qiqi already took her 12th samsara lmao
@@ajemberwood6119 Lol! I kinda feel you. I hope you get samsaras for the character you want. This vicious cycle ends!😔
i had this thought before of when mihoyo said that lumine and aether are both the canon traveler, it's because once they reached the end of the journey, everything repeats itself, and no matter which twin you picked and no matter which twin is the abyss twin, they're all canon because they've happened before too. But I guess it's just a stupid idea of mine.
same this is my thoughts too. It is all just a loop/cycle/samsara, whoever your main character is, we are all just repeating the same storyline >.
@@pyc912 i think its timeline multiverse thing
7:05 that is why Aloy has no constellations, she isn't from Teyvat and has never died in Teyvat.
Woahhhh
The fact that Gojo came into my mind at 2:47 💀
😂😂
LMAO
FOUL 💀💀
LITERALLY SAME JSJDFHJKSFDSK i was like wait gojo???/ nah this is genshin-
He's not even out yet, right? 😭😭
1:30 wtf 🤣
In 3.6 we also got a lot of lore - and - what amazed me - stated very clearly, not some small and vouge bits that were more incentives to speculations and discussions that real information.
i really liked when apep called traveller as the one dear to celestia or something along the lines
AND THAT'S WHY ALOY DOESN'T HAVE A CONSTELLATION
it says too "the time has not yet come for this person's corner of the night sky to light up
mind blowing
Great video, imagine what we could achieve if Genshin fans knew the lore about Honkai too and didn't just hate on it
Whoaaa i have always confused in the Nahida Archon quest when she talk our twin isnt a decender.. Why she's different with our mc? And then your explanation is hitting all the marks! Good job Lord Wei! Its our pleasure to learn a lot from you :)
you finally woke up wei 😭 love the intro, kimi no na wa was not only the first ever anime i watched, but is still to this day my favourite anime ever
saw shinkai's latest film suzume no tojimari at the cinema yesterday, man that was fantastic
Love your editing and theorycrafting, keep up the good work
nah the fact this actually makes sense. love your vids. they are always so interesting
Why was my first instinct when you asked "Who else is trapped in a box?" was to verbaly respond with "Gojo?"
I had somehow a theory and idea that the world runs in a loop and it's all just a simulation but I never really dug too deep into it to make a coherent thought process. Thank you for your hard work in making this video, summarizing my scattered thoughts 🙏
Also I'm surprised you didn't mention about the mistranslation of Destiny (the Chinese words were the same as Heavenly Principles, meaning the Abyss Twin is just fighting against Heavenly Principles) and the fact that the starry sky of Teyvat in anywhere but the desert is shaped like a dome, which would align perfectly with your World Tree Ball theory and constellation fruit.
6:45 Gave me a heart attack.
Remembers the second raiden battle where all the peoples visions light up in the sky in raidens conciousness (STARS, MEMORIES AND IDEALS)
I love that this came out before the esoteric book in Fontaine which confirmed the cyclicality of Tayvat
Wait! Today I found a new loading screen from this patch, it mentions "cycles of life" too:
*Pari:*
So long as the Khvarena and the Amrita continue to flow, the Pari shall last endlessly through the *cycles* of life.
i am so excited to see another lorebomb frr
also in the beginning when the twins were about to leave teyvat due to khaenriah's destruction, they mentioned your journey is not over, the heavenly principles said that. and then shot us back into the world to continue the samsara cycle, our twin woke up earlier and completed it while we are directly following in their footsteps due to how coordinated the quests have been, *spoilers: the most recent quest for 3.6 for the new area, the pari there mentioned that a masked soldier (dain) and a blonde haired person which looked identical did a favor for them similarly and the pari are on good terms with those two, along with a one armed soldier (which may be the leader of the fatui) end of spoiler** but does that mean that we have to complete the samsara cycle and the end of the world is khaenriah? didnt someone try to go to the underworld (khaenriah) and make it up again or was that another city, its related to sumeru but i dont remmeber...
when did they say 'your journey is not over' ?
Really wish our school educational videos are like this interesting, especially with the edits
I'm glad that Minsleif voiced this video...
Her calm and sweet voice, and definitely your lore geek facts.
*spoiler on the 3.6 world quest
From the paper in the ruin facility says that "there's a power that can transcend Abyssal Power and that power is Human Evolution"
Even Alberich himself says "Anyone who can control the abyss can control everything"
Imagine having a power that transcend the abyss
Oh no, it's Honkai all over again.
this dude is the best genshin lore theory youtuber ive seen tbh i love it
I agree with the samsara concept. It really point to that direction especially after 3.6 khavrena world quest. The question is for what is the "irminsul hive" purpose. Plus Whether the heavenly principal is has the same role as will of honkai
same, it also amtches with the sumeru quests. idk after that quest i can’t trust this game
Yooo.. This explains why Aloy has no constellation, as she is not from teyvat and this is the first time she has stepped foot in teyvat.
I feel like the constellation theory would also be why thru wishing (literal stars falling from the sky) we get the constellations of characters?
That means their accumulated data from past samsara are being added to their current life causing them to evolve. Remember when the meteors fell and we find out it was a constellation the characters gained the "information" of that person effectively living through peices of his life.
it does the most mind blowing genshin theory ever!!
I love the metal pipe sound omfg
