Passed my test today! Saw this video weeks ago before it even hit 1k and learned the track and instructions from here so I was prepared early for it. You sir, saved me with this video
@Makayla Arthur exactly the same, it’s the same place I went to so I learned the track from this video, single only difference is the person talking to u has a tent over them, and there’s like one other driver on the track with u BUT they take their time and turn, meaning if ur ahead of them, their instructor makes sure they’re not up ur butt being too fast and u take ur time but not wasting theirs, it’s quite easy

I JUST PASSED! And I went to this place. The "parking lot" is a bit narrow but just make sure you position your car on the far right and understand the length of your car so that you know when you need to start turning.

@@delicesloubna3404 I believe so you just have to use the correct formula. My instructor told me the same thing all of the parking videos on RUclips told me, and that was to remain as far away from the actually parking spot as possible so that you have a large bank angle and you can make a convenient wide turn. The next most important thing was to make sure that your mirror is lined up with the first cone and that you turn your wheel allll the way to the left or right, depending on if you are doing left or right side parking. Lastly... You have to let the car roll slooowly into the spot. There’s is no rush.

@@Duyennguyen-ux8ll you have to make an appointment. Right now they're scarce, but if you wake up early around 5 or 6am you can find 1 or 2 slots open. That's how I found mine after taking my first road test there. When I was there on Friday, they told someone that they don't have anything for the next 30 days & you can actually walk in on Mondays very early before it opens, to secure a spot if you do not have an appointment. I am not sure if this is an every day thing, but the person at the front desk said to the person to go back on Monday.

@@averyhanson6140 yes, they are still giving the road test exactly like this. I was told by a lady the first time that I went that they will continue to do it this way even if the pandemic ends. You can always make sure by reading the appointment email that they send you, all the way at the bottom it says how the test will be conducted.

@@ellielundquist6432 The instructor was giving instructions via phone from outside the vehicle. My test was on a modified parking lot so yes, a paved course. It was not on actual roads.

@@ellielundquist6432 I was the same way before the test but there is literally no reason for you to be worried. As long as you have practiced these maneuvers enough and know how to handle the car you will be giving the test in, you will do well! The test is same as this video so watching it helped my anxiety a little. I hope it helps!

At least the DMV I’m going to they still are doing it remotely. I take my test tomorrow so hopefully I pass. When you were at the stop light turning right, were you not allowed to do it while it was still red? I know that’s legal to do when it’s safe to go, but I don’t want to do it during the test if they say it’s not allowed.
I was just nervous and stop thinking, it's okay to turn right.
Is this just for covid or this their new road test course? Asking for my cousin! I remember taking my road test at this location, but they took me out on the actual roads.
I personally asked a worker and was told that at this location it's staying like this and that they were no longer going back. But I'm not sure if that was 100% correct or if she misunderstood my question

I came across your video yesterday but didn't finish watching it. Today I took the road test at this same place without knowing this video was in the same location and I failed immediately. When I first turned the curb I went over the lines but then straighten the car, and then when I went to do the 3 point turn, I was so nervous that I didn't see how the narrow street had an open area for me to be able to make more space for myself. So when I fully turned I went over the curb a little and the examiner told me to keep going straight and wait for her. She asked me what did I do wrong, and I told her that I went over the curb and she told me "that's right, you need to practice more". I feel like she could have been more lenient, but I also understand I did wrong. I wish I would of had that nice lady that you got. Hopefully I'll have better luck next time. I scheduled another test for next week.

@@ellielundquist6432 I got there around 10:30 and left around 12:00pm. The wait that took the longest was waiting in line for the cars to finished getting tested in the parking lot. And then when I went to get my documents, other than that everything was quick

@@jaclyntrinh2572 Yes! First they will simply do the car check in the parking lot (the lights working and the horn) and then a person will help lead you to the back for the test. After that, this is exactly what you will be seeing for the driving test. Good Luck!

I don't think you have to do that if you are not comfortable,in my opinion you can just turn your head and look at the rear window. No one is in your car or close to you, just do it smoothly.

do they want you to look out of your back window for the reverse part or do they prefer you use your mirrors?
window, I passed mine today and its no worries its easy its a matter of listening and paying attention
The correct posture is to look out your back window , so that's what they'll be looking for . Try not to look at your mirror or your rear view camera ( if you have one)

Yes, I used my own car for the road test. Only one person is allowed in the car for adults, I heard about an extra adult is needed in the car if you are under 18.

Mines is tmr at this same location. What all do they do/ask before the test regarding the car. Like emergency brake, windshields. Also do they ask about arm signals?
@@Hermani_. they dont ask about arm signals, they ask to inspect your car at the beginning to make sure your car works properly. They ask for you to check brake lights and signal lights. Remember to bring all the documents they ask for.
What was your answer when she asked what will you do if you had to park in a hill?
Shift your tires to the right, pull/pump the lever of vehicle has one and shut off your car

The "remote" test means no DMV officer in your car to give instructions, they are standing outside to give you instructions by phone. I am not sure the COVID19 situation is still true.

i did the test at the brandon dmw and the instructor said i got a perfect score😂, also he said be fail to understand what a 3 point turn is so make sure you guys study the 3 point turn, the test is super easy

Don’t be I just took mine I passed and GET THE LADY she’ll in her 40’s to 50’s and y’all he had did was what I did. Remember wide turn on the parking spot and doing the 3 point turn get as far to the right as possible and turn you wheels don’t have a doubt!!! When I tell you there was a truck that did EVERYTHINGGGGGGG WRONGGG and he passed by hitting the cones failing the 3 point turn , passed the stop sign, RAN OVER THE CONE, was driving in the side of the grass AND HE PASSED with all that 😭😭😭 DO NOT GET THE MAN THAT LOOKS LIKE HE IS IN HIS 60 get the women who is 30-40 years old

@@platonymous I just went yesterday. There were two white guys doing the exam, I didn’t see a lady but they’re all supposed to be following the same basic procedure so it shouldn’t matter too much who you get. My guy was nice and I passed!

I think they want you to park at the center of the spot and leave space at both sides.
