  • In this series you can join me at the craft table once a week for a few minutes of art and craft creativity - between ten and twenty minutes usually. But sometimes a project needs a little MORE than just a few minutes... so in A Few (More) Minutes of Fun, you'll be invited along for a deeper dive into my creative process.
Today I'm sharing a set of six altered teabag sachets. Follow along as I create a series of tiny collaged artworks using recycled teabag sachets, gesso, Distress Ink and Oxide sprays, Tim Holtz and Rubber Dance stamps, flower and butterfly stickers and Idea-ology ephemera.
I bought all the products used in this video myself.
Distress Ink Spray - Broken China; Distress Oxide Spray - Speckled Egg
Ranger Archival Inks - Olive, Pebble Beach, Potting Soil
Tim Holtz Field Notes stamp set by Stampers Anonymous
Weed Love stamp set by Rubber Dance stamps
Idea-ology Snippets - Curator and Number Strips
Flower and butterfly stickers widely available online

Omg! Shut the front door! I love these! I’m really regretting all of the hundreds of tea bag papers that I threw in the trash. Ok, I’m ok now. I’m have almost stopped thinking of how many thousands that are gone. Just kidding. 😢 these are lovely. I really like the idea of making them in groups of 6. Great idea! I already have everything I need to do this project. I could make some papers lol. I’ll go get a cup of tea. 🫖 thanks for sharing! Hugs, treen 💕🫖💕🫖🎨🎨🎨

You are so utterly adorable the way you mentally process the placements of things and verbalize it out loud for us. I have so thoroughly enjoyed this. I just subscribed because I am certain I will love everything you do. ❤

Need to make a label using your quote of, “ messy fingers is a sign of a good time.” These are absolutely adorable and I’ll be making some just for kicks and giggles to put in my journals or little happy mail to my messy fingered friends. Have a great weekend.
