Thanks Bethany, looks great! Are you going to be using some kind of backsplash, to keep water from getting behind the vanity? I'm also curious as to what you are going to do to the two top drawers to make room for the sink. I do think spar varnish was a great choice for the top, it's super durable and waterproof!

So I have the original mirror that goes with this dresser and it’s going to sit on top of the back edge of the dresser and that will serve as a backsplash. The top two drawers I’m going to have to modify to fit the sink (it’s a partial drop in sink) so I’m going lose a good portion of the drawers, but I can still make-shift them into shallower drawers. Good to know I picked the right top coat. Thanks for watching!

How long did you wait between coats and did you sand?
I hope to catch you on pawn stars! Sweet!
    Thanks always for sharing!

Thank you for watching this video. To answer your questions I waited 12 hours inbetween coats. It says on the can you can reapply after eight hours but that’s if the previous coat doesn’t feel tacky. My basement is a tad colder than the minimum requirements to dry. It says on the can 70° is the ideal temp. My basement is hovering around 65°. Yes, I am lightly feather sanding in between coats using 400 grit. Yes, please check me out on Pawn Stars next Wednesday should be fun.!
