As a first time user of stripper, I used 4 gallons of the Soy Gel Stripper (not the safenol one- just the regular NMP one - its roughly 80$/gallon) to do my roughly 19 kitchen cabinet doors and 9 drawers LOL. I get my stuff from the Woburn MA woodcraft.. Took a few weeks as space was in issue. Great product! Very slow long process with 1 heavy coat on each side of the door left on for 24-48 hours and then scraped off. Now Im onto the sanding stage... and finally bought a Festool extractor/sander for dust management after leaving a very long comment on your previous video asking you whether I should get that system or not :) PS: I have been through this long experience with the Soy Gel stripper- give it 24 hours and you need a MUCH THICKER COAT. Also i did not have any paint on my cabinet doors or stain. I just hand maple wood cabinet doors with a thick layer of poly from 20 years ago. After leaving for 24 hours, I was down to bare wood. I wanted to preserve the grain of the wood because I am going to sand now and then do a few coats of oil based poly (no paint again)

I just LOVE your videos! I've learned so much from you and appreciate that you don't cater to certain brands. There are so many products out there that are worthy (or not) of our hard earned money and it's nice to have honest reviews. Your fur babies are soooo cute!!! Your work is beyond excellent and I aspire for my work to be as good as yours someday. Have a great weekend! :)

Thank you so much and WELCOME to my channel! I really enjoy hearing feedback from people on how my tutorials are being helpful. Yeah I'm very adamant I don't want sponsors. I want to give REAL reviews. There's too many people out here online looking for a quick buck and will say every product is awesome just to get some sales and views. Not me. Besides Biscuit and Bacon wouldn't let me hahaha! Please subscribe and thank you for leaving such a nice comment. Let me know if I can be of any help :)

Fantastic burl (I think that’s the proper word for the grain), thanks for the demos!

I'd LOVE to see how you finished this piece. I have a Mahogany venire piece that I'm going to start very soon. My plan is to have natural top with a beige painted base w/natural door fronts.

I'm still working on it! *gasp* *embarrassed* Between my furniture business, real estate business and gardening I've been up to my neck in projects. When I finish it I'll post it on my business Facebook or Instagram. Both links to those profiles are below.

Thank you for this video. I need to use a stripper and really have avoided using the one I have as I hate the smell and mess. I will be trying this one out on a vintage desk I'm working to refinish.
