I just hit Ping irons well. I have tried others over the years but always come back to ping as it just works. Currently playing the G series still and no complaints

Very informative review, with just one question. Were you using Ping shafts and if so can you comment on the line up of shafts, since I’m assuming its a critical factor in fitting process. In particular, I’m a middle-age bogey golfer (i.e., medium speed hoping to improved distance, consistency, score). Cheers..
Hi Elliott, I use Dynamic Gold X100 shafts in my irons. I'll be honest and say I haven't used PING iron shafts before so i can't really comment. However, I have used their driver shafts quite a lot and been really impressed by how they perform. Just make sure that if you go for a fitting, you ask to try a few different shaft options - the feel and performance are likely to change quite a bit.
Excellent no nonsense review Neil, the current line up of Irons from PING just look superb. Since they had the exodus of designers & engineers to PXG they have really upped their game. Gone are the days of functional but ugly and boring Irons, now they are offering function and SEXY!
Ping really knows how to make consistent irons. Consistency so much more important than distance...
Well done Neil! Spot on with i210 and i500 findings.....love i210 consistent feel and flight.....have you done any reviews of pxg irons? Never hit them but I'm intrigued comparing to i210

So why not do more testing then upload that? You pretty much counted the i500 out by saying it needs more testing.

Currently have the ping eye 2 black dot. Debating between i210 and g400, any recommendation? I consider myself a good ball striker with my irons

Good review in terms of showing the differences but 5 shots just way too small of a data set to take consistency figures seriously.
