What if there is no light on the dongle I plug it in to my ps4 and the light won't even turn on at all

@@nicoschoen144 in my case im pretty sure the dongle glitched out and both my new ps5 and pc cant recoognize it and my pc cant detect it properly and there is no driver to download anywhere to try and fix it. total garbage

My gold headset seem to have bluetooth interference during game play. I can hear audio fine, but its the other party that tell me my audio sounds like its coming out of my tv and through the headphones. If that makes any sense.

Ok so question. My sound/chat on the headphones. My SOUND button is basically broke or stuck long story short I can’t click it.. but my CHAT button works lol. So basically I’m stuck on chat .. I can’t hear any game sound, and as u know I can’t adjust the game sound on PS4 because of this sound/chat sliders on the side. Is there anyway to fix or get my game sound to come back into my headphones.. even tho I can’t raise my sound button back up because it is stuck.

I just figured it out!!! With the headset plugged in to your PlayStation via usb, hold the reset button on the usb dongle (adapter) and once the blue light starts to flash, with your headset off, hold the mute and vss buttons then plug out the usb cord and turn on the head set at the same time than release the mute and vss buttons... If you do it right it’ll work and pair for sure

Thank you so much, this video helped a lot. I got another headset on ebay, used like new, just for parts because I wanted to replace a broken hinge on mine. Bought one that was labeled DOA (Dead on Arrival) for like 15 bucks just for parts. Well, I was curious. I plugged the DOA headset to charge just to see if it was really dead, and it turned red like it was charging. Then with this video I managed to use my original dongle and pair the DOA headset and guess what? I'm watching this video with it on right now lmao. Maybe the guy who sold it didn't know you could pair it to any other dongle. Well, I just got a (like new) Platinum headset for like 15 bucks. GG

1. I had no idea my headset could work via dongle on my xbox one. Does this include voice chat as well? Will this function essentially the same as my ps4?
2. My dog chewed up my dongle a few days ago, and I need a replacement. Ebay has the dongle modeling I need, but Sony says it won't work because a headset is married to that particular dongle. They are essentially telling me to buy a new headset. Can I pair this headset with a dongle that in fact corresponds with my make and model?

@Apache-Adventures Hey Brother 👋 ended up getting a new headset as they went on sale at that time, and my son and I needed newer ones regardless. I still have the USB dongle but never re paired it to a new device.

Someone help my headset dies and doesn't charge as it used to it stays alive but only if I use a charger and the charger doesn't charge the headset but works perfectly fine with my Controller etc.

My headset flashes red after i hold mute and switch it on. But won’t flash red if i jus turn it on normally without holding mute. I’m having issues using headset wireless, and hear voices and gameplay. Without wire i can’t speak or hear chat.

Yea I thought I was going to have to buy a new headset too. I was looking to see what's the best one for ps5 and then I said lemme search again for a fix. I don't know if I followed the exact direction but I used one of those metal pins that come with phones to take out the sim card. Reset the the adapter first and then I held the mute button until it started to blink. Update* So it did work for hours. But the next day it went back to the same. I'm done trying I just ordered a steelseries arctis 7p.

The same thing happened to me it worked yesterday and now today it won’t work
I purchased a used Platinum headset that appeared to be in like new condition. Used it for a week without any issues then all of a sudden it would just cut off. I’d turn off and back on and they’d work briefly before cutting off again. Gave them to my son to try on his PS4 Pro and the same exact scenario. Is this an issue resetting could fix? Known issue? Any advice? Sincerely appreciate it
I have a similar issue. I connect it to my PC, turn on the headset and it beeps, sound turns on and works, but then like a minute later, it beeps 4 times, then 1 long beep as it turns off. They are fully charged, not sure why it keeps turning off.
Let me know if resetting fixes your issue.

So… you know that part where I said they were fully charged? Turns out they weren’t. I found out that if you plug them into the PC via USB for charging, it will not charge the headphones unless you delete the headphones in the device manager (not sure why it’s the case, but it is).
That’s obviously not a practical way to use the headphones having to delete them and reinstall them every time, so I plugged it into a wall charger instead.
Problem I started having after that is my headphones kept cutting out and according to people online it’s because they’re prone to interference and the fix for that is to put the dongle on a USB extension cable and put it closer to you. Did that and now seems to be working.
I admit, just buying a different pair of headphones would be a better solution, but since this was a $100+ gift from my wife, I wanted to make them work - so far so good.

Idk but my headset is new and i was in a game, next thing i know it totally disconnects from the Bluetooth connected to the Usb in my Ps4, and never have been able to play wireless and use my headset the real way. The headset turns on but the USB doesn’t even flash anymore.

did you reset in both device. headset mute button is reset and tiny hole in the wireless adapator. (this should be first)you should insert the wireless adaptor in to the console then insert the pin to reset. then hold the mute button in the headset to reset. it should work.
