The thing about this is majority of people before sided with Amber when this news came out, because she's a girl and Johnny Depp is man, if there's an issue like this even if it's not in Hollywood they always sided with the girl, not knowing that there are husband who are being beaten by there own wife...not the other way around...
@@baraclude not funny really sad. If a man is a gentleman and brought up not to hurt women he is a sitting duck to a violent woman. It is not only the physical abuse but the mental abuse that goes with it. Amber has a lot of issues and way to much testosterone pumping through her body. In our house my dad was at times violent towards my mom but my mother was way worse with us kids. I saw both of them as violent and bad tempered people. I learned as a child that the sex did not make a difference.

You can't know forsure before facts were shown and we do not know what happens behind closed doors but why have we not heard about other partners complaining about him? To me it was either a lie, drugs, alcohol or that sometimes a certain person can bring the worst out of you while another brings the best out of you. We should always stay open minded before judging, we love to jump to conclusions too fast and crusify others. I decided back then that I won't watch any of the movies Johnny was fired from or any Amber was playing in. What hqppened to not guilty before proven guilty? This cancel culture is sickening.

It frustrates and enrages me to no end that there's a double standard when it comes to male abuse victims and female abusers. Saying their relationship was toxic, or that the fault lays with both of them, is so unfair. She abused him for years, lied about it, destroyed his credibility and career, did irreparable damage to his public image, the list goes on. Judge was related or married to a friend of AH I think. Not sure exactly but he definitely should have recused himself from what I understand.
The judge was biased towards Amber, even giving her a platform outside the courthouse during the case. People believe Amber slept with the judge.

I can’t believe JD lost his case in a British court. I’m a Brit, proud of it, but over the years have lost faith in British justice. I only hope US justice proves better and that JD wins. Having watched hours of the courtroom scenes l simply can’t BELIEVE JD will lose.

As a woman who is a victim of abuse this annoys me... she has exaggerated the ‘abuse’, she was violent towards him and she has lied. This makes it so difficult for real victims to come forward, I struggled to get people to believe me because of who he was, it makes it harder to believed and she is doing a huge disservice to victims of abuse. I am horrified by this...

The fact that the UK judge was friends with her counsel. And she went to private dinners with the judge's wife's friends and her. The fact that the lawyers good friend whom he wrote a book with was a mentor to her counsel... and last but not least, the judge's SON works for talk radio. The sister company of talkradio, the sun, employs Wooten, which is the person who wrote the "wife beater" article.... the judge's wife's friends were also very vocal in their public support for amber before any trial.
So, he never had a chance at that UK trial! The judge had too much bias. This was his wife's friend. His son's associate. His friend's friend's, etc. Private dinners and stuff with the judge's wife and her friends? Just wow.

I could tell you about when it's apt to use "your" versus "you're", where to put commas and periods and that it is "on par", not "at par" but that's not my job, nor is it the point I was making. There are lots of reasons for people's errors: laziness, English being their second language (like it is mine), disabilities like concentration problems or dyslexia.
Making errors in judgement, assumption or conclusion is a different thing entirely.
So all I'm saying is, attack people on the merit of their arguments and leave grammar out of it.

When everything first hit the fan, I was so shocked, but I just had a feeling that something wasn't right. I'm so glad I never truly believed that he was that kind of man. He has always been one of the few people in Hollywood that I actually look up to, and I would have been devastated if the evidence had actually been in Ambers favor.
