Also, I find it heals better if you let it sit dry after washing. No moisturizer until day 3. Then apply a thin thin layer of moisturizer until healed.
I always keep my tattoos under the wrapper for at least 1 day after I leave the tattoo shop and recently I just left my last tattoo under the wrapper for 2 days straight because I came back to work the day after my tattooing section. I noticed this tattoo healed a lot faster than the ones before and I went thru the scabbing phase within 2 days and the whole healing process only took 5 days ( I know they’re still continue to heal under the skin for the next few months but the surface is completely healed now). I don’t know why, I think different people have different ways of taking care of their tattoos but either way, what you think is good and you feel comfortable with is always the way to go.

Yes but I wouldn’t recommend applying the bar soap directly to the tattoo. Instead use the bar soap to suds up your hands and then apply the soap yesterday.

It really depend on how you heal the tattoo and how well you keep up with healing it. Yes tattoos fade. But with that being said it should only slightly fade when that tattoo fully heals

Just get my first tattoo a week ago..still healing
My artist told me to keep my wrap on for a week...
dawson jencks all artist have different ways of healing tattoos. I always recommend to do what your artist tells you to do because that’s his instructions for his style of tattooing. I’m a strong believe of making your tattoos breath.
