That is so cool , I am 65 years old and just starting to get a few I always wanted. I wanted to thank you for your advice on how to take care of my tattoos during the healing process. Same as the tattoo artist told me. I have 3 now and my tattoo artist is working on my 4th . I know I'm a late blomer . I'm retired and my Wife passed away 4yrs ago so I'm getting into mischief, RRR .
A tattoo takes a month to heal fully. After the first two weeks you are at very small risk of infection but you still have to keep taking care of it. You can see in this video all of the layers of skin are not fully formed yet. Still... he did a exception job at aftercare. Artist really appreciate when a client takes this level of seriousness to the aftercare process.
It’s been many years since my last tattoo then I got one on my forearm watching your videos really helped me through every process of healing… thank you for the info❤️❤️❤️
Man I’ve watched all of your videos about the healing process. Very informative and useful. Especially because I’m getting my first piece done this Sunday coming up , a bit nervous and excited. Hopefully it goes well with the piece I want and also the healing process 🤞🏽
Hope they help you bro, that’s why I made them 🙏🏼 and that's awesome!! First tattoos are always full of nerves but you'll be fine. Going to come out feeling like a new and better person with it. 👊🏼 Hope my aftercare methods work for you and it heals perfectly, if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. Also what you getting for your fist piece??
Healed amazing!! Keep up the hard work, definitely following these steps for when I get my sleeve done. Gives me motivation to get mine done now in realism 😍 thanks for the helpful tips and whole process of healing from start to finish 👌🏼
Just got my biggest tattoo about 2ish weeks ago I’ve been living for your videos with the cover-up and the amount of space I’ve never had anything this big as far as Ink goes so I wasn’t sure how the healing process was going to be inside of my elbow kind of a little wonky but I think it’s because it’s always stretching constantly and I’m always working I went straight back to work so I really appreciate your videos and I know they’re a little old but they really helped me out
Great guidance! I’m a week healed and still going, my routine… Twice a day: 1. Wash with Dr Bronners Baby Unscented 2. Thin layer of Aveeno Daily Moisturizing
I came across your Chanel & Vids when looking for helpful & reliable info and must say I highly appreciate 🙏the info you provide based on experiences. I started my sleeve and had my first session two weeks ago on my forearm (first tattoo) and your vids have made me & healing process much better. Now I can proudly say I got this shit on this ink journey that awaits! Def deserved a Sub 🔔 & Follower 📸
I don't know how yall do it man. I got a small tat and my last two weeks have revolved around caring for it. Can't imagine what it would be like to get so many or a huge one
Love your aftercare tattoos they help me with my tattoo. It’s been a month since I got it. How many times do I wash it and put lotion on since it’s fully healed?
Surxio thank you so much! Means alot to hear and have people appreciate the artwork 🙏🏼 and I have so many ideas planned I just hope I have enough skin 😂
Thank you so much for all of your content! It helped me a lot before I got my first tattoo since 18 (I’m 32 now lol). I had a second skin on for 4-5 days and then went to dial soap and lubriderm 2-3x a day. I wish I had used an ointment up front but didn’t have any. The ink looks amazing and I love all your work!
Finally made it to the 2 week point with my inner bicep tattoo, you’re vids have definitely been very helpful since its been like 5 or 6 years since my last tatt. If I want to send in a pic of my healed tattoo for one of your review videos where can I do that? Im ecstatic with how it came out by far my best... and also most expensive tattoo yet lol
Love your videos! What did you do to make your pimples go away? I’m witnessing like 4 pimples that annoy me! I like the feeling of having a smooth tattoo with no bumps.
Love the videos! i just got my first tat yesterday and was wondering how to deal with it because i sweat a lot, at what point can i not worry about sweating too much anymore??
Yeah mine ended up looking slightly cloudy from when it happened. It was weird some spots had that look and then I just continue to let it heal and it went away. Maybe try not to use mosturizer on that spot and see. If not you can always get touch-ups done. Hope this helps 🙏🏼
Thank you so much 🙏🏼 thank you even more for asking and being polite about it! No it's not a conc hearing aid, this is called a BAHA which stand for Bone active hearing aid
JustINKD oh wow! My wife has a 50-65% hearing loss and wears normal aids. I have been learning more about it to help her. Since she got her hearing aids which was about a year ago her voice has changed when she takes them out. Ya man defiantly always polite about that stuff. Your tattoos are gorgeous! I wanna get a massive realism portrait on my back with the spite of heaven and the golden gates. Then have the layers of hell sins being depicted then having arc angels smite them and tear them to shreds.
Awh man I'm sorry to hear that, sucks to have to deal with that. Hearing is so important and honestly one of the hardest things to deal with when it's not what you're used to. But glad to know you're still with her and learning Everything you can about hearing aids and all. Yeah I can see her voice changing when it's taken out, for me when I remove mine I lose that sense of how loud I am or exactly how I sound. Thank you means alot to hear AND FUCK DO THAT SHIT UP!!!!! 👏🏼👌🏽 get your whole back done because it's going to need alot of space and detail BUT when it's done it's going to be show worthy 👊🏼 thanks for sharing bro, really enjoyed your comments 🙏🏼
just had may tattoo yesterday. and it was my very 1st tattoo. it's an Odin design. I've been looking for additional information and experience from those who had been there like you. hopefully mine turns out Excellent. your sleeve is epic. wanted to know. when did you get back to hitting the gym or even.sweating it out again? cause I'm sorta into my regimen when I.got my tats.
That’s awesome bro! Welcome to the tattoo world, many more to come! And for the gym I like to give atleast a week off. 2 weeks if you’re really serious and want to be safe
@@justinkd thank you so much for giving me your very own personal advice, from your own experience. then I'll play it safe, 2 weeks it is then. nothing wrong with have a few days off. again thank you so much. on day 2 now, fortunately for me, have aquaphor here in the Philippines and thats what I'm using but I do it only once a day. cause I saw your other video about applying too much ointment. again thanks. 😁😎👍 already have another design for my next project. probably I'll be placing it on my chest. a Lion and a crown over it's head.
@@alexander-bv2ll my pleasure bro and yah its always better to play it safe. if it heals well then maybe go abit sooner than 2 weeks. gotta get those gainz lmao. and try to keep it at around 2-3 times a day up until day 4. just make sure to put a small layer and then take a paper towel and dab it so you get any extra ointment off. sounds sick bro! ideas will continue to flow in now
@@justinkd got it!😁👍 will do that. and adjust accordingly. again thanks. will update you about the healing soon..a week or two from now.😄 hopefully it heals well.
Yeah when I get a fresh tattoo it's hidden from the sun at all costs. Even now when it's healed for acouple years I make sure to keep it from getting to much Sun. Best way to keep it looking its best and causing less fading
Can you swim 21 days after with a swim shirt that covers it from sun? I am on day 3 of healing and it seems to be going well minus the light yellow bruising which happens all the time with me.
Im getting chest next and then a leg sleeve. I'm DEFINITELY getting my back but I'm taking my time and planning that one out. It's going to be a next level kinda piece 👊🏼😏
Hello sir your tattoos are awesome.. Sir i have a question can we wash our tattoo daily and if yes so how to wash I mean just apply soap normally like we use bath time.. Or is there any specific way to wash.. Nd which aftercare ointment is best for tattoo
I like using aquaphor but have now started using hustle butter and sanibalm as aftercare ointment. As for washing Just use any antibacterial soap wash it three times a day about six hours in between and wash it in circular motion lightly
Hi.. Do you put moisturiser back after the pimple incident healed? Or u stop using it.. and how about about after 2 weeks? Do you apply the moisturiser? Sorry for asking too much..
Bro ask anything you want👊🏼 so for the pimple incident I stopped using the moisturizer up until they all went away. After that I started to reapply it to keep my skin continuously fresh
So from day 2-4 you want to wash it 3 times a day, waiting 30 min to dry and then using healing ointment waiting about 8 hours in between each. Around the 4th day switch over to mosturizer. From day 5 on, you want to wash it once a day and then same thing again, wait and add mosturizer.
I’d say stay out of the sun for atleast a couple weeks until it’s healed and then sunscreen right after. But I’d still avoid the sun as much as possible for a good month or so as that skins very sensitive and it’s going to be felt
day 7 on the small black outline 4 inch tat, never flaked/scabbed yet. should i be good to use some Aveeno UnScented and how much? I still wash morning/night with soap and it has a bit shine still, no redness or anything bad as far as i see!
Sometimes it's hard to see flaking on outlines but if it's itching than that's a good sign your on the right track to healing. Make sure to slap it and not scratch 👌🏼
For my aftercare I wash once in the morning at my morning shower....put auquaphore on.....wash again at lunch time and auqaphorre...then one more time before bed and I do that for a week then I switch to the lotion
My tattoo is sore and sensitive even after 2 weeks (17th day). No swelling, redness, or bumpiness in or around the tattooed area. When I try to moisturize i feel the soreness during the massage.. when i normally touch it i dont feel any soreness. When I pat it i feel the soreness.. Is it normal? I am worried fuck.

how do you wash or care for tattoos after they are fully healed
Just make sure that it’s always protected against the sun. Moisturize skin weekly, and shave the area to have it look it’s best
do you use unscented body wash? or does that not matter?
Do i still need to wash tattoo twice a day after is healed?
Once it’s fully healed you only have to wash it once a day when you take a regular shower and that’s about it but make sure to continue to moisturize
🔥🔥🔥
How do I shower after a week with a tattoo
A week after a tattoo you should be fine to take regular showers. Maybe try to keep it out of the water stream abit
Thanks
How do I tell if My tattoo is dry
It feels dry, itchy, stiff or flaky
I’m at the 2 week mark now. Still a bit shiny but pretty much 0 peeling left.
Prefect you're pretty much healed and ready to go. Still make sure to mosturize every now and than and also keep out of Sun
