I have a handwritten cook book of MY great grama..
And I'm 75.....she worked at a fraternity house in Greencastle Indiana......
Things like "spagetti for 150".......🤭🤭🤭🤭......
It's a treasure to me...to look at her recipies...written in pencil......🤭
Loving this!! This is why I think it is SO important for us to leave behind our family recipes! My, sadly, estranged family, still cannot make my Mom’s fudge! All they have to do is ask me!! And they are running out of time! I am 67, and a cancer patient… PLEASE, START WRITING OUT YOUR FAMILY RECIPES, NOW! Time, waits for no one… 🙏🏻😘😉
Absolutely! My grandma put together a family cookbook with all her recipes that she got from her mother and grandmother (so my great-great-grandmother) as well as some new ones that she loves. It took her a very long time to type up so many handwritten recipes, but it was so worth it. She gave all the kids and grandkids copies, and it's one of my prized possessions. I use it at least a couple times a week.
God Bless You, Joanne and Sincere best wishes for your health ❤

@@shannonrickard8605 Can we buy that cake from a bakery in London??
I want to eat one now its looks delicious 😋
I'm not a baker but I stead a great cook...please say yes I can buy it..😩
I'm glad you were able to enjoy watching this. Food is always good.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE watching Paul and Michael interact especially when Paul gets one over on Michael. British wit and humour are the best coming from someone who is a Canadian and who had a wonderful mother who was a great cook and had a very witty sense of humor. You can't get a better combination than that!!
My mother has been gone now for many years and I dearly miss her but watching Paul and Michael together in the kitchen reminds me of some very wonderful memories. Thank you so much to BOTH of you for making these wonderful videos, especially this one. I watch it over and over and it always makes my day!
🙂❤❤
Royal Teas seem so magical! Fairy Tales have proper teas with special desserts! Queen Elizabeth II has probably had thousands of proper teas! So, very beautiful!
☕🍰Ms.Layfield, have a cup of coffee.
I am from the USA, New Jersey, and in 1952, at 7 yrs-old watched the Queens Coronation on television. We loved it, and my mother was born in 2/9/1918, and my father, 11/1/19. My father fought in WWII, as did his two brothers. All fought in Europe, where my Uncle Donald was shot down and buried. My grandfather served in WWI, and was stationed in England, as I have a picture of him on horseback, reviewing his troops. 👋 I'm so proud of my family's service in the military,
I watched this when it was first on, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Michael is an excellent host. Can’t wait to watch it again. ❤
Michael & Chef Paul are hilarious together!
I was about to start re-watching old episodes again. Thank goodness for a new one.
☺️ I agree with you 🌈
Ohhhhhhhh...... I want scones, clotted cream & a lovely pot of tea with a cozy!
(It's what we had when I visited Stocckton-on-tees!) I was visiting family
Too bad they don’t have the recipes online someplace. I’d like the bath buns recipe as is but can’t seem to find it online.
I love that she arranged tea tea party.
Have watched many episodes and they have just been brilliant…. Fascinating to see them make very old recipes.

“I’m going to add a big tablespoon of treacle” *proceeds to add almost 1/4cup of treacle* 🤣🤣🤣
I love these videos so much! So interesting!
Great programme, I was glued to the screen, wonderful recipes! Lovely interaction of those two chefs, loved it! ❤️
My mother was an exelent cook, for her to have a good result you have to have good ingredients, love this transmission

Those desserts!
*THANKYOU FOR SHARING THESE VERY INTERESTING FACTS AND RECIPIES!!!*

Must be all the cream and butter!!!
*All the chitty chatty and joking makes this so entertaining and a joy to watch!!*

HOW could anyone eat dinner after tasting those rich goodies served with the classic Afternoon Tea?
On another episode, the Chef stated that the Royal Family ate five meals a day. Each were small servings as not to waste anything. But it does seem afternoon tea time was the time to chow down.
I'll keep my remark very simple.
YUMMY 😋
It just struck me, can you even imagine eating every single meal that is outrageously beautiful and delicious? Day after day? Crazy huh? I mean at what point would you just go Ho-Hum?
Who could go wrong with this? Absolutely NOBODY😃
Right? Like at what point would this ever conceivably become normal to a person?
I heard the Queen ate very simply unless it was a State occasion.
On my 28 day honeymoon cruise on a fancy Cunard ship, after 3 weeks all we wanted was a cheeseburger & fries by the pool.
Even the royals don't eat like this every day. These were/are favorites. But, even then, what a tremendous treat
I loved this Royal chef. He great!
This is my third watching. What a Delight! It’s inspired me to make a checkerboard cake which is made in one tin with a special divider, then stacked. I now ‘glue’ the layers together with apricot jam and top it with marzipan . Very delicious.
I love this show because there aren’t any shouting chefs, only friendly ones.
Thank you, Mother Theresa. I'd like to see her dining in the slums of Calcutta.
@@kevinboone2178 I believe you’re referring to Mother Teresa? Our middle names may be pronounced the same, but I’m not she. I do favor vegan curries and have been told that I cook them well. Have a good day.
Ms. Theresa, it made you wanna what? ⚡ Danng?
What a great queen she was
@realroyalty are these recipes available? Is there a cookbook accompanying the series? Thank you !
Chef Paul is an absolute legend. Chicken recipe is the best! Thanks for the many top tips! Best salmon that I have ever eaten was from Inverness Scotland. I can’t forget it. ❤️
👛👒😊I enjoyed looking at what the Queen's favorites are and they history behind The Royal recipes was fascinating.i guess the Queen and I both like to indulge in chocolate ☺️💜👑🌻
15:33 Such a gracious appreciative woman toward those employed to keep her home and very life running comfortably well. Always lovely to hear such stories and I remain hopeful that todays wealthy individuals will listen and take this to heart. Living with kindness and without greed is a beautiful guiding legacy to leave for others to follow.
43:27 🕵🏼...I mustache you a question Sir,
all great fun with two little inner child boys...🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
MAYDAY. MAYDAY. CAN YOU HEAR ME? Ask Ms. Windsor where her wealth comes from, who had do die, or go without, for her to be blessed. LISTEN!

Now I'm hungry.
Me to,Hello Anna how are you doing 👋😊😊😊😊😊😊
24:11 chef dodged a political bullet. Also had no idea that I had grown up on french cuisine. My father would hunt partridge and mother made most of her sauces with cream and butter....with herbs of course. And I thought we were poor.
I really love this and love the pots!🙂
Michael has the world’s best job.
Yes that truth,Hello Cheri how are you doing 👋👋👋👋👋👋

Yeah, bet he doesn't even have to do the washing up!
That he does - and he’s thoroughly enjoying it. I’ve not seen him show dislike for any dish yet.
Absolutely!
This reminds me of the Marriage Supper of the LAMB getting ready for Emmanuel s Big Day. Get Ready. Church. Keith Greens. Song. The Easter Song. Ok back to this Highly Favored woman. God Save the Queen. Have a wonderful. Blessed time.
The Queen is not Born Again
I saw where she had Billy Graham to her home a couple of times. She had watched his crusade and invited him over. Then one more time. We really don't know if she was born again or not. I'd like to think she said the sinners prayer with him. I'm sure he offered to pray with and for her.
There is a book soft cover from 2019 The QUEEN AND HER FAITH
This is so Special what an Honor & Blessing to behold . Thank you so much for this video. From Milly in Maine USA 😇❤️🙏😊

This is amazing. I must admit that having access to a diet like this would be my ticket to health but I cannot possibly afford an outrageously expensive diet which has been medically suggested to me. most 'commoners' can't. Perhaps I'm a bit old fashioned but it just doesn't seem right. But then again throughout the Millennia has it ever been?
Really enjoyed this. Thank you. ❤️
I would so love to have the amounts (ratios) for these recipes such as the coronation chicken. Maybe a cookbook.
I remember making melon balls for a fancy water melon basket centerpiece for baby shower yrs ago... tedious 😂❤
It seems as though you put a number of episodes into this one video which is kind of cool for people who didn't see those episodes
Re the Battenberg dessert: The dark and light bars represent the black and white stripes on the Battenberg coat of arms.
Thanks! Good to know.
Interesting!🙂
Really enjoyed this wonderful program!
I love all this beautiful meals thank you for sharing with us ❤
Long Life Hm Queen Elizabeth
@James Hama fine
No disrespect to any of you fine folks commenting, but the Royal Family especially the “Queen” are EVIL LIZARD PEOPLE!
@James Hama iiiii m
No
In hell.
Re: Coronation chicken. I imagine that the chickens used today are much more tender today than in 1952, though not as flavorful . That poached chicken with the added seasonings looked delicious .
Fried chicken. Have you ever seen Ms. Windsor eat it with her hands and drink Kool Aid from a jar?
@@kevinboone2178 I really wonder if they eat fried chicken 😅 if not, they're missing out...
So amazing watching the beavers. Congratulations Luke and Julie. Good work Ben and Nester
Wonderful program. I enjoyed and learned so much. 🇺🇸
I like checkerboard cake 🍰 too.
The Battenburg reminded me of checkerboard that I made one and used apricot to layer it. Delicious!
I would have loved to also provide the recipes for the eclairs & the orange scones.
Looking for QE2's Scone recipe...I had it, but it has come up missing. It's really the best, & now that she is gone, I want to make them again with my Earl Grey.
All the food in this program is absolutely delicious looking. I would love to sample each one! Fantastic! 💖
How do I get a copy of these recipes?
1:44:38 oops there's a drip. . . .now wait for it. . . .he goes to the fridge to get the cold ones . . . . .and boom there it is. . . .1:45:22. . .that same drip!
This is so amazing to watch. I can only imagine how delicious everything tasted. A true work of art and a labor of LOVE.❤️
I agree with the others! Please provide a lovely Royal Recipe book for sale. It’s especially appropriate currently with the King’s coronation ❤
It was so nice to hear someone say "sneaked" instead of the incorrect "snuck" that even sneaks into so many books.
Delicious meals! So elegantly explained and so professionally prepared. Bon apetit! Thanks for sharing! God bless you all.

Congratulations 👏 and all the best for your success and happiness 💓

That last octopus salad! OMG!
I can see and hear Michael's mouth watering ooooooo amazing video and to see the historical copy of the cookbook that is over 120 years old phenomenal. Thanks.
Great to see an original family restaurant that is still going strong!
An amazing masterpiece..
Thank you.
💐
I wish new episodes would come out !
Very lovely dishes
Really enjoyed the video I watched from the beginning to the end very enjoyable
I'm disappointed that this show visited Audley End without featuring Mrs. Crocombe.
I am so glad I'm not the only one who thought that
Who in the world is Mrs Crocombe?
This food must be very tasty to eat!I wish we could try some Royal 👑 food 🥘 in America! They do sell pastry pie’s at Trader Joe’s,though!
Some recipes are not that hard to make like e.g. scones. Give them a try or maybe even hold an afternoon at home. I bet your friends may enjoy that, too.
Ah yes, another wonderful episode of "Let's Torture the Diabetic"! WEEEEE! (I miss these sweets). 🤪
😅
I love these two together 😍
How can I get a copy of Marguerite Payton’s cook book? I had on but lost it in the hurricane of 2019
Making me hungry, like my grandma got from her mum.
Genius. Looks so 🤤.
Love this show waiting on more like it full of interesting stories of history ♥️♥️♥️
Hello 👋
🌻❤️
Lovely thank you for sharing the recipes ❤🌹☺️ 🌙🌞
Love this
Michael puts out such Ian McKellen vibes...love it.
Very interesting thanks
I am curious- what are the round pans hanging in the background? They look like skillets with VERY shallow sides, but the only thing that I can think they could be used for is the careful frying of an egg.
Might be special lids/covers for certain pans, i thought it was maybe for crepes but they seem to have part of the handle going inside
Lids?
Love watching your channel!
Where can I find those bowls?
Does anyone know what the yellow ribbon dish is on top of the white circle? Are they a kind of dessert? I have not yet seen the episode showing how they are made! I am very curious 🤨 indeed!
They show it at the very end of the program. It appears to be excellent!
It is a pineapple dessert, can’t remember the episode, sorry 😞
It’s a pineapple pudding. Top layer is a custard infused with pineapple skins and pineapple juice and base layer is a whipped cream mixed with pine apple juice, pineapple chunks and pistachios. Both layers are put in molds first where they set, and after the dessert is assembled.
Thank you…..that chicken rcp I have to try…and afternoon cute cake..
Thank you for this vdo…..
Wish rcps also written….
outstanding
I can't believe the Queen doesn't like pasta, red sauce or garlic 🤯 Italian food is delicious, and garlic is one of the best flavors. Aside from that, all these foods and desserts look incredible. These chefs are so good at what they do. I wish I could taste these dishes! The royal family is so lucky to have meals like this every single day. Does anyone know if these recipes are available somewhere, or are they family secrets?
I thought about the garlic also. I think, maybe the red sauce and garlic could upset her stomach. Also, being a queen and interacting with people at any given time, one must control the breath and the intestines to be comfortable. Just a guess 😉
I loved watching and learning about the food served to royalty. Thank you. Great job!
Yes would love more videos of Disney foods
I love it❤️❤️❤️
I absolutely respect and appreciate the quality of the production of this show and the expertise of all involved.
That being said, I think we must question how and why the word “royal” are used.
If royalty doesn’t apply to us all, then it is not true royalty.
Any man or woman who counts themselves above any other is simply ignorant of the truth.
Lovely food too 🎉
Adorable and yummy diet, a learning experience is cooking these recipes....
❤❤❤❤thanks
Delicious!
@2:29:43ish, manure hot house grown Pineapples... It is shown like it is just the heat from the decomposition of manure is what's being used to keep the green houses/hothouses/
hotboxes warm enough for growing the pineapples? If this is the case one could also or instead of manure, use regular composting bins add manure also, or use just regular composting bins. using a combination bin I think might add to or rekindle heat as it gets closer to harvest time!!
Ce frumoasa istorie
Correct me if I'm wrong, but another reason George the 4th was so keen on the overindulgence of opulance and ceremony for his coronation was because Napolean Bonaparte had been crowned King/Emperor of France shortly before. Which George took it as a personal affront and challenge, and was determined to outdo Napolean in every aspect when it came to ceremonial events of monarchy. His coronation being the first.
Omg I wouldn't be able to resist the temptation! I am glad I am not royal...lol
I'm a subscriber. I am inspired to purchase those sheets. I've went to their website and even picked out a set, but never purcjased. 100% cotton is becoming less available.
