Some good points there - the proportion of people's stuff that comes by shipping versus 10 years ago, and as a lot of commenters pointed out how regional the various problems are. Colorado doesn't have delivery problems as much as it does have porch pirates after delivery, but once the delivery system found out who Brian Nadeau is and the prices of what he was shipping..he could never ship from his house or under his name again. Thanks for this PSA - as folks won't know if they are on an island unless others speak up about the dangers of pool cues 😉.✌️

That's crazy! I've never had issues with pirate ship. I've used them for along time now. Sorry to hear about the issues! I did have an issue with USPS & took almost 2 months to get to its destination here in KY! But it finally got there! Take care!

UPS has been my best experience. If something was lost or damaged I had no issues getting a claim filed and paid for.

FedEx in Memphis is the worst! My wife had a $1200 iPhone stall in the hub there for 4 days last week. It was an overnight package and should have been here Tuesday. It took until Saturday morning.

FedEx,UPS ,and USPS Are nothing but trouble here in NH I hate shipping anything

The biggest difference to me between the 3 is that USPS has federal protections in place that are punishable by law. Now on the other hand I had a UPS package that was going along as normal and then all the sudden the tracking updated and said something along the lines of “package has been damaged and discarded”, no explanation or ability to receive the “damaged” items. Whereas USPS is legally obligated to deliver it no matter what condition it’s in.
That said, USPS is going through some major changes in certain regions and areas right now at a time where package volume is high, which is causing major delays. It’s supposed to make service much better once complete, although only time will tell and right now it’s hurting service for some. People definitely shouldn’t give up on the PO though and contact their representatives if needed because when run properly it can be a major asset to small businesses and the public while being completely self funded off the postage it sells.

@@poncho151 bro , I love the idea of the post office....but like I said, I don't get what I pay for. I certainly don't receive all my packages either. When I say every pool cue...it's been like 6 that just disappear once in Memphis. 6 operate cues over the span of 3 years. What makes me nervous , is that I must depend on shipping in order to sell knives that I make. Of course there's gonna be a hiccup every once in awhile , but this is almost every package going out or coming in the past few months. I hope it gets better but if I pay for express...and it takes 3 weeks when it should've taken 3 days...they should be liable for a partial refund...no matter which service it is. That's not even on the table. I pay 40 bucks to ship packages on the regular and 3 out of 10 come back to me after being lost for a month. I don't get any money back for their negligence. If they were held responsible for delivering when they say they will...maybe they'd misplace a few less packages. Just my experience overall so far.

@@apex_alchemy_knivesyeah I fully understand and agree with your situation, I’d probably do the same thing in that case. The pool cue thing is very bizarre and makes no sense at all. Not sure what is going on in Memphis but from what I’ve read it is one of the big hubs and areas that has some serious problems. Hopefully things turn around for you guys because all of this seems like such an unnecessary added stress and headache man.

Yeah usps isn't like it used to be. You gotta watch with some locations fedex or ups may not deliver to anyone in that area due to po boxes. The little town my daughters live in is that way. I can't remember if it's fedex or ups, but one of them will not deliver anywhere in that town. My daughters have to go to the post office to get their mail out of a po box because that office doesn't do home mail delivery.
You stay safe out there and have a wonderful day.

@@jeffjackson5331 makes it tough on people who have a business that depends on shipping. Shipping has single handedly increased the cost of my product due to delivery failure. Everytkme a package makes it back to me...I have to pay 40 bucks to roll the dice again. Strange days

You mean cutting funding (6 years ago) from one of the few government entities that every citizen uses in order to provide further tax breaks to the 1% was a bad idea? I'm shocked, I tell you. Shocked.
