    HEADS UP! On shorter videos like this it’s super important that you watch a bit longer to improve the watch time on the video. Otherwise RUclips won’t serve shorter videos. I try to occasionally do short videos like this because I know people are busy, but we get penalized if total watch time (in comparison to other longer videos) is shorter. So please stick around and learn!

      @doejohn8674 I make my own bone broth in a crockpot. I use beef bones, chicken bones, fish bones, pork bones. Great for soups and stews. Fish bone broth is great for miso soup btw. I make miso soup and put sliced boiled eggs on top of I'm wanting the light vegetarian version, but I've also made pork miso soup on occasion... The pork one I'm more likely to use a heartier bone broth than fish, the fish is better for the vegetarian version... Though now with my health conditions I'm thinking tempeh or making store bought tofu into fermented tofu might be a better way to make that particular dish...

      @trev5956 yeah, I'm a mentally disabled single mom with no child support. My ex was a deadbeat since our son was 3, and I was trapped with the abusive dipshit for 10+ years. He died late last year (son is 14 now) and still wasn't working. SSI and snap don't pay much. So beef heart it is. Rn I've got a mix of boneless skinless chicken breasts I ground up and mixed with beef heart I ground up after I managed to find the funds to buy a cheap meat grinder online. Lean as fuck for burgers, but that means I can add more guac, cheese, etc on them or easily add to stir fry's with nuts abd coconut oil... That or things like pesto, spaghetti, or a low carb Mac n cheese substitute... I'm thinking broccoli, meat, food pantry seed oil free Velveeta knockoff.

    Colostrum and liver are foods that we have in our diet here in Botswana, kinda weird to see them made into supplements out in the USA.
    In other news, I'm on day 5 of carnivore and my appetite disappeared on the second day. I have to make a very deliberate effort to eat, so I am scared of not eating enough (I can only stomach one meal a day since I started). I tried to increase my fat by having some butter with my ground beef (not a lot, even), and the nausea was insane! Also felt like I had overeaten. I then drank a mix of 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar in 1 cup of water. Prior to this, I had taken a bit of homalayan salt+water to help with electrolytes. When I tell you the diarrhea I had was CRAZY (one bathroom visit, but still) Is this even adaptation, or do I have to make some adjustments?

    • @ntombilanga3541
      @ntombilanga3541 11 дней назад

      ACV will do that. I also get crazy diahhrea when I consume it. If you're really not hungry, don't force yourself to eat. Instead, you should fast until the thought of eating meat sounds good again and then you can eat. I know that most people recommend the priming protocol when you're just starting carnivore, ie eating 3 meals a day for 2 weeks, but if you're experiencing nausea and meat aversion, you shouldn't force yourself to eat. I'm South African and just started carnivore as well.

    Steak wow we CUT steak way down when prices hiked in 2020. I’m going to add more tuna, anchovies with turmeric to my salads and more seafood, for the rest of my life. Aldi- has the best wild caught salmon I can find. Also I got some tests done and said I need tryptophan so I’ve been eating a lot more turkey. I’m sure my husband will like adding in more steak.

    I can't eat eggs as I suspect I have an allergy; the moment I eat one I start puking violently. I'm South African and it's quite difficult to find organic eggs here so unfortunately, I've had to cut them out of my diet. However, I have noticed that whenever I eat a steak cooked rare, I feel fantastic for the rest of the day;which is saying a lot because almost all other foods make me sick in one way or another. Tuna has the same effect. I wish I could afford to eat steak all day every day.

    I'm sure steak and eggs for breakfast is great but most of us arent fitness influencers or podcasters and dont have the combo of time and money for that to be a daily breakfast

      Diced beef we eat for breakfast in Somalia for breakfast. For lunch we eat goat 🍖 meat that is marinated and cooked in a way that makes folk of the bone 🍗🦴. I do suggest though you eat what your body feels ok with. Eggs or none processed meats or avocados 🥑 and eggs . Just eat healthy and avoid sugar . These influencers are not what they preach always and often not in sync with real science

    Sounds great! But for me, I'm just not interested in a big early breakfast. First, a 16 oz. cup of coffee with allulose and a scoop of collagen peptides 10 g, then, my meal is Garden of Life meal replacement with 20 g of protein and a half scoop of whey protein powder, and a cup of kefir, for a total of, altogether, 51 g of protein, 17 g of carbs, and a total of 415 calories.

      Dumb, calcium scores only show long term damage and healing of plaque in the arteries. Does not show active damage. Could make you think all is well, while you’re actually full of soft plaque that hasn’t calcified yet

      Real! You can’t deny the efficacy of a plant-based diet to reverse heart disease (My dad had a massive heart attack last year with his heart stopping for 40 minutes - Went on a plant base diet and within three months reversed all of his numbers to healthy levels). But at the same time, I don’t personally think that eating meat is problematic for people who are healthy. Healthy means low triglycerides, low cholesterol (esp VLDL), 0 CAC score, etc etc - an overall perfect lipid profile. You can order your own lipid profile bloodwork and pay out-of-pocket between $200 and $300 whenever you want. I have used ALTN (Any Lab Test Now) and also Sonora Quest.

      @ what about nutrients from vegetables? I feel like everything I read keeps talking about how you need to get your vegetables and how broccoli does this and cauliflower is so good for this and vitamin C and other minerals.

    • @aurapopescu1875
      @aurapopescu1875 11 дней назад

      @Timetraveler1111MN Plants are loaded with ANTI-nutrients which prevent the absorption of all those nutrients you are talking about. I have noticed throughout my life that I don't absorb anything from plants, and that I feel much better without them. I do take Mg and liposomal vit. C, as well as other supplements. But I was already taking them when I was still eating vegetables... I was not getting anything from the vegetables, except for cramps and bloating...

    For breakfast I eat eggs and a cabbage/lettuce salad with fish, nuts, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. Beyond mere steak and eggs, it adds enough fiber and healthy oils that are lacking in a steak & eggs breakfast. I won't eat steak and eggs anymore because it's sorely lacking in the fiber and oils that my microbiome and liver need.
