System = HW + SW = competence in both areas. In my case it also has lots of Requirements Engineering, technical leading, applying skills as a generalist (biggest scale as the specialists), dealing with norms, working as an interface between strategy, management, development, testing, production. Basically, I work with stakeholders (customers and different business units in the company) to determine what they need and translate those needs in specifications (requirements, architecture & design).
