Mike V was the best skate demo I ever want to in my hometown. He skated the entire park and the parking lot. He broke his arm in the demo and even kept skating. LEGEND.
JOHN LUCERO would be a GrrrrrREAT guest. I'm SURE he has some old stories and it would be great to go from skating, to company build, and then SKATE ART! (for a while)

I had the pleasure of seeing Mike V on the Bones Brigade tour in 88 in upstate NY. He did this 10 foot wallride off a launch ramp. Then wallied off the side only to level his board out for the most flush landing! It was the most athletic move I've ever seen live. That move has stuck with me for 34 years. Dude was just so far ahead of everyone else there skating. Super nice as well. He just talked and hung out with every skater there. Glad you're doing well kind sir.🤙🤙

Mike is the man. Love that he mentions Hosoi. I always thought his style translated to street really well, and he had a real creative and natural approach/ability to skating it. I love watching the 80;s streetstyle contests...Savannah etc...

Holy crap. that foot injury. I feel your pain. I did that exact same thing to my left foot. Then one year later did it to my right foot. toes down, heel up and sat on it both times. My left foot is still weird sometimes. Makes some gnarly pops and aches. It's all good tho'. 51 and still skating!.
11 year old me was thrilled to see Mike V. on the Tony Hawk tour at Woodward. I still have the poster hanging on the wall in my garage with Mike's and many others Autographs

Mike, your Suburban Diners part was like my training manual as a grom man. Don't think I saw it here in New Zealand till '96, it made me stop spending all my time practicing tricks and just go out and ride, and appreciate the street. I'm stoked life is good for you bro.

orthopedic doctors usually do undetstand the rehab part, at least where i live, but surgery and clinical doctors youll see ab fractures and mris really have no idea ab the rehab part of it and thats facts, been told ill never skate again many times lol still skating today 24 yrs young boi
