#Skateboarding #Podcast #Interview - Развлечения
So cool hearing Weeman describe how he likes skating these days (introverted, early in the morning, "soul skating") because that's exactly how I feel about my skating these days (35 years). Getting in my own zone, free from distractions, just for myself/my mental well being. Great episode so far
Im 21 thats how i feel and that shit fun af
Skateboarding is a drug, Abuse it!!
All this I’m 30 bla bla so old to skateboard stuff makes me incredibly happy I started skating at age 10 and were always into sports and extremely athletic. You want to know how pro skaters skate good in their 40s? Eat healthy , do cardio and stretch everyday. That’s it.
@@goatmansasquatch1485 lol um what? Who said anything about being "so old to skateboard"? This was talking about making your skate time when you're older all about YOUR skating, free from distractions that are often around when you're a younger skater with a lot of homies around as well, and just getting in the zone and feeling great. Not sure what you thought my comment meant.
@@mechanikjoe um..he was saying practically the same thing you're rebutting.
My dad actually grew up with wee man, he’s a family friend of mine. Haven’t seen him in years but he would recognize me if I were to see him, such a cool dude
His smile and personality are contagious, you can't help but smile and be on his level of positivety. Awesome guy.
100%
1000%
Sweet 👍
Was thinking the exact same thing. Can't quantify how many times i've truly laughed out loud or grinned ear to ear during this one.
He talks with a smile. So positive. I will be back to this one often.
Id rather be social, than social media. Well said Wee man that was sick
Fuck social media BIG TIME YO
WeeMan is underappreciated in the skate industry. He's super chill
How is he underappreciated lol
Maybe if your under 28 years old real ones know Wee an OG
I love in Orange County and have seen him around a little bit. People are quick to just come up to him in the middle of his session while he's skating and ask for a photo and then just walk away.
Live*
You’re either a legend or under appreciated wtf are you talking about
Wee Man taught me to kickflip when I was a kid at Skatelab. I was kicking it too far forward like beginners do and he said "See how your board goes forward? Now jump forward with it." Hahah.
(If he sees this I want him to know that became my go-to trick for the rest of the years I skated)
The Lab was legendary im.38
I got to see him rip the outside mini ramp at skate lab when I was in summer camp way back. He was SO COOL. Still have my lab rat deck and t shirt, even though both are beat to shit.
RIP SKATELAB
"I'm soul skating" I feel that
As an older person now that hot home I can't skate like I use to as a young teenager and into my 20s so now it's all for me and my soul the pure love of skateboarding
@@masonmcconnell9375 100%!
Oopps, 1 thousand percent 😁
I haven't heard that since the movie "Brink!" 😄
Hell yea when ur knees are fukd u def feel dat lol 😆
Jason's energy and vibe is unrivaled, this episode was a great one.
Dude fully rips at skateboarding too, seen some legit hammers lines from him the absolute man 🤘
A beyond legend ! And the classic nine club format back in the game.
I’m 22 years old (23 in September) and I can literally remember Wee Man for as long as I can remember. I was only 2 or 3 watching him skateboard on jackass on tv, that’s one of my earliest memories. Such a rad dude and rad episode!
I rolled up to a spot a couple years ago with my bros and Wee man was already there at the spot. He was super nice and came up and introduced himself and he was ripping. Great guy.
Holy shit I love that the regular show is back
Wee Man is an awesome interview. The guy just gets my hyped to live life. His positive energy is infectious.
wonderful pick on this weeks interview. Wee Man is such a gnarly individual.
Cracked open a beer at 1:30 am for this super stoked for the content lately proud of y’all
Hell yeah bro they been killing it lately man
To me, jackass will never die, it was literally my childhood and early teen years. Always been a massive wee man fan. He’s such a cool down to earth guy.
down to earth lmao litrally
Jason's smile is so contagious. I can't help but smile. Such a cool dude.
Damn, Crob forgot how to say Ronnie Creager like a week later...
Going to be hard to top this one guys.
Was on wee man’s latest “do a kickflip” video at cherry recently, funny guy & very cool
Did u do the kickflip?
You didn’t mention landing it.
I had a subscription to Big Brother when that switch happened in the mail. I was sent Taboo Magazine....
Nice. A different kind of tailslide going on.
@ed pick whats the timestamp for that. bit?
1000% love Jason.
This might be my new favorite nine club to put on repeat. Soooo good
was thinking the same. Overtaking mike v!!
Agreed
Holy shit wee man looks just like eldy😂
Lmao
Weldy
This dude's a Legend! 🔥
This is EASILY one of my favorite 9C episodes of all time. Thank you, all.
guys, this pace you've been keeping in the last week is AMAZING!! i mean, 3 new episodes every week? can't get better than that!!!!!!
yeah we actually fw queso heavy on the east coast lmao so good
This ep truly brought a warmth to my heart! Wee Man is so humble and I love the way he thinks about life!! Thankyou!
It’s crazy to me that Kelly has never seen a freestyle board lol
Maybe he don't know the shape but actually forsure he saw one before
Seriously hahahaha
That's what I thought, Im the same age as him and my first board was a old freestyle board. It was a hand-me-down but still.
@@ryanschindler923 My first board was a freestyle shape and i started skating in 98
Loving Rog as the talking house, keep that shit going
Skate cerebro
The Ghost Host
I’ve never seen Jason in interview before - he’s such a nice dude!
Raab Himself and Steve-O both have interviews with him too, would recommend
@@sallytims6894 ah sick! I’ll look those up, cheers 😊
@@sallytims6894 Was about to also recommend Steve-O. Such a good episode.
This is his second nine club appearance, he’s done a decent amount of interviews.
such a chill humble dude.I loved this. Thanks again guys.
This was also a reminder for me to be more gratefull for what i got.Im 5 foot 5 and used to feel very insecure about my height but people like this who own their shit helped me get over it.
I just started to skate again after a 22 year break. This is great to learn about all the guys I missed and learn more about the guys I used to watch! Definitely keep up the good work!
Same here but a 6 year break and I just turned 30 this year.
@@luis_6068 I just turned 41 and I can feel it learning those tricks. haha
Skated with Wee Man and the DVS team way back in the day at my local. Was an awesome sesh man!
That is so dope, dvs had a sick roster back then
I really appreciate the long podcasts, I'm always working and need something to listen to, these are fantastic and always a hoot!! Thanks fellas.
Thanks for all the great talk and laughs Nine Cub. So appreciative of this show. 👍🙏
Anyone remember the little ccs catalogues from the 90’s ? Literally had like every skate product in it that was out at the time
Mr. Weeman said about street-boarders trying their first ramp drop-in. He says there is air-time and the thought 'wait, am I going to blast off'.
Now I think I have one more reason to think I can die happy because Weeman helped me through those words and more in the Nine Club Interview. I was probably only a street skateboarder for (6) years before I really skated ramps, mini ramps, the bigger quarter pipes, 5 to 8ft vert. The first impression is real about a drop-in.
Thanks Weeman. Thanks Nine Club.
-J.T
Love the nine club being back in proper form. Always love wee mans energy, great episode as usual. Much appreciation for everything you guys do
I turned 40 this year and yeah I don’t wanna compete with a 30 year skater at the spot lol. Sooooo real!
Love weee!
me too, ol buddy. grats on 40
40 last month. I feel it.
40 in January. I hurt.
Thanks for another great episode everyone. Listening on the commute to and from work today was the highlight on an otherwise lame day. Your personalities and subjects make us laugh and give us hope and pride and are inspiring, thanks as always.
Just in work, thought who’s on nineclub this week? Yes 🤙🏻🤙🏻😃😃
This has been a longtime coming. Jason is so cool, and a class skater. 🔥🔥
Once again another amazing episode helping me cope with the daily life of anxiety and being scared of the world. I always have the nine club to wind down to every night ❤️.
This has been one of the best guests in a while. Thank you !
That was one of the best episodes yet! Thanks for all you guys do sincerely
Wee man is naturally funny , it’s too good😂
Man this interview was awesome from start to finish. Such a chill and happy dude. This whole episode was chill and happy just because of him. Love it. Wee Man the legend
Eldy and wee man can pass as brothers.
This is awesome. Not even ten mins in & I'm completely stoked.
One idea for a future episodes, Steve Van Doren, and a full Daewon Song episode.
the Gullwing Street Shadow information, along with it being the backstory to Rog's magnesium preference
Wee man beautiful positive person.
I never knew just how many pivotal skateboarding companies he was a part of!
such a good interview! great work guys!
Also, I'm 35 and havent skated beyond cruising in over 10 years, but i just put together a slappy setup cuz of you guys. wish me luck! lol
He kinda looks like Eldy, sometimes imo
Weeldy
Aaaaaand they even sound alike 😂
this was such a dope interview. dudes energy is just infectious. good times. nothing but good times
Holy this just made me a fan of his.. I'm not the hugest fan of jackass but weeman is so positive and down to earth... awesome to hear the stories.
one of the best stop and chats , great job guys! getting better every week!
This is my most favorite one so far and there has been some flat out awesome shows.
One of your best episodes!
Jason is so entertaining. Best stories & down to earth. 🌮
One of the best episodes all time. Amazing stories!
had a epic footwear ad of Jason hanging in my room growing up!
Great ep! I love wee man one of my fav skaters he’s such a positive upbeat and laid back guy he could fit in anywhere and I could see him as a part of the nine club he fit in so well here
Love hearing how these guys got into skating. It's so relatable.
Discussing the special guests clips quickly became my favourite segment, does it really make sense to save that for a stop and chat that might never happen?
First thing I have to say is Wee Man is the coolest dude. I mean so down to earth and humble. I could hang out with Wee Man all day long just talking and hitting the curbs 👍😎I'm the same age as Wee Man was like going down memory lane hearing his story. What a cool dude. This was one of the best interviews I have seen on this channel. Really enjoyed this interview 👍👍
DAYUM! yes on the episode on location at chronic tacos. Oh snap this was a "sleeper" for me. I knew next to nothing about dude. It turned out to be one of the best episodes. Dude rolled up on s.e. Hinton?!?!?!!?!! Wha!!!! Golden! This dude is next level legit. Up with wee man
Forgot how much I loved this format
6:24 I got SMOKED on a backside slappy first skate of the spring this year. You can get bodied for sure.
Curbs are dangerous
I smoked a slappy with my backside **
@@goatmansasquatch1485 I slapped some Smokey in my backside woods
I keep pulling my ear buds out to check if I’m really hearing trucks backing up in my cul de sac at night!! You guys have got a lot of sound penetrating the studio!
What a cool dude Weeman is , loved the episode. Please invite him again
Wee man is so sick, dude has a great outlook on life, best dude
This is by far one of my favorite episodes.
This guy has so many awesome stories what’s he’s become seems so smart and down to earth the 2.5 hours just few by! Cannot wait for 10/22 my birth month!
been waiting on this one! so glad to have the regular show back
So stoked the original episodes are back wee man is the man
This is the best one yet.
This is the best! It’s so sick that Jason is such a skater at heart, it’s embedded in his DNA 🙌
YEAH!! This is going to be good. The Nine Club rules.
Really enjoyed this episode, he's a great human being
With Ronnie und Jason you guys came out swinging hard. Stoked for what's to come. By the way the scene where Wee Man kicks his own head is one of the funniest things to me
That's one of the funniest things to everyone.
Another great interview, nothing forced and real conversations, keep it up fellas
Happy to see the old show back 🙌
Wee man is the man
Im hoping these guys will review Tim Savage's video "GRACE" that just dropped. Some of the parts in that video are just insaneee. Crazy good east coast skating
Another awesome episode as always guys. Please never stop doing what you do.
Such a good episode. Keep up the good work guys
Came to hear Wee man talk jackass. Stayed for him to talk about his love for skateboarding. Great interview fellas!
I met wee man at Fremantle skatepark in Western Australia during work hours with a mate of mine. Wasn't really any people there except us and like us he was in the zone skating so we yelled out our yew weemans and let him do his thing and we just had a wicked skate sesh. Was so down to earth and we didn't harass him just enjoyed a good thrash out
thank you for putting this out
Wee-man is a legend!!! Such a cool guy, I'd love to meet him someday. If you see this wee-man, you rule!! Keep on killing it!!!
Wee man and all these guys are a part of my childhood, such great role models, and an inspiration!
This is the first time I actually heard him introduced as Jason. Awesome interview overall. Keep em coming!
Its not how tall the curb is, you are falling from your height with 150+ lbs slamming on the ground.
I love how he gets that special feeling when the dad who got tears from watching Jackass with no communication skills. Shows what a good dude he is!!
I did not want this to end. 9 club you guys are the shit.
Damn this was a great episode! Really loved hearing Jason talk, super rad guy!
