They may not have this brand in NZ but here in the states we have Justin’s nut butters in single use foil packs...perhaps another brand is available? A great addition for the kids’ thrown together banana sandwiches.

I love this! So simple. I also enjoy seeing your kids eat so happily and healthy. Do you find your toddler hardly eats some days vs others? I know children won’t starve themselves but I worry that my simple meals are off putting and my toddler is holding out for daddy’s junk food.
My kids would definitely rather eat junk and won't as much of foods they don't like!! When they know there is another option they will definitely hold out for it.
@@ChelseaMae I would love a video on how you make it work for your kids to eat this way. My kids have never liked anything except pizza and fries. And we don't eat that any more. So they eat potatoes, green beans, and when I will make it, peanut butter and jelly. My 7 year old eats beans. But nothing can have much flavor. It is so very discouraging to cook and then they don't eat anything but fruit from the crisper.

I didn’t know that spaghetti is good for weight loss...good to see that i’m also allowed to eat some spaghetti...but it’s weird, i eat the same way as you do but i’m not losing any weight. I weight about 59 kg...maybe that’s why i’m making slow progress? Idk, or maybe i should decrease the rice and potatoes bc ur eating less then i do? Idk, I’ll keep trying! I’ve heard that strength training is very effective but i never really sweat when i do that.
Its not about eating like me. You don't have my lifestyle or my body or my metabolism. You can definitely have spaghetti and still lose weight because its all about eating those lower calorie foods (a lot of veggies) to get into a calorie deficit. Thats the problem when you just eat like me, first off you don't know exactly what I eat all day everyday, and also that might be slightly too many calories for you. The point is to be able to reduce your calories from your starting point so that you get into a calorie deficit. Its not once sized fits all but I talk about how to do this in my course. :)
Track your calories. Low fat high carb vegan is a great way to control calories and stay full. But you can still overeat calories. Some of us have huge appetites. A few even got fat on all raw just eating fruits and salad. Stay active. Most starch solution style eaters are very active and run cycle and walk. Weights are great for retaining muscle but you need cardio to burn off the daily calorie intake. My Fitness Pal is a great tool to make sure you are in a deficit.
@@stargazerbird I respectfully disagree about counting calories. The biggest issue is that most people don't accurately count and they certainly don't count off plan days and binges so getting an accurate picture of your calories is actually really hard. This is partly why I have 100s of women message me weekly thinking they can't lose weight eating 1200 calories per day, because they are convinced they're eating that little. The most accurate form of data is the results you get, so the best strategy is eat following these principles, then tweak and change if you aren't seeing results or when you plateau. You use the feedback from your own body to make decisions about where you need to change and when rather than relying on an app or a book. They can be good places to start but they don't tell the full picture or what to do when you're doing it all 'right' but its still not working.

I have never seen people drive on the beach except in movies. Do your parents eat plant based also? I am curious as to what is in that bean mixture.
