Just picked up a wii and couple games from my local goodwill to resell! Found an empty Mario kart case on the shelf and had a feeling the disc was in the wii. Asked for the case for free and when I got home n powered it on the mario kart disc was inside the Wii!!!

The Rhythm Heaven game is a nice find. It has really skyrocketed in the past couple years. I think to your point at the end of the video many people arbitrarily limit what they look for as well. They just are looking for Mario and Pokemon while not considering that there are good collectible/tradable/sellable games that are just more obscure or less exciting. You have to cast a wide net and not be super picky if you want consistent success.

@@Chronicles_Of_WA I remember Pokémon heart gold and soul silver being on discount brand new in Morrisons here in the UK for £10 each in late 2010 and they were in the discount bin still a year later. I never thought they'd be one of the most sought after Pokémon games a few years later I really should have bought the remaining stock
Man, when he said DBZ Infinite World probably had no value and he only grabbed it to get the deal, I was stunned. Almost passed on a fantastic deal, and the luck of the draw saved him. Wish I could have this kind of luck on my hunts.

I WOULD TAKE ADVANTAGE IF I WERE YOU , bro there are honestly some amazing deals going on right now at thrift stores I've had some luck myself scoring some great thrift deals.
Yea, been to a thrift store and traffic does donate games anytime and guessing they dont last long cause there are resellers in area who check thrift and scan and snag any they can resell for profit any. i got some old game box but not play. but know can always try play them later if wanna any games i still got from past time i used them any.

So glad I watched this. I had bought a few skylanders trap team for ps4 boxed sets with figures from Walmart years ago on clearance for about $5-10 each. I would sell at fleamarkets occasionally and couldn't get rid of them and marked then down to $15 and eventually sold one. I still have one or two left and can get over $100 for those. Recently discovered your content and I’m obsessed! Love listening to your content while I’m at work.
Once I found a Blue 3ds with a case and a Yoshi game and no charger at a Pawn America for $25. They said it didn’t work and I asked if they’d let it go for $5, surprisingly they said yes since it had been sitting on the shelves for weeks. I got home and plug it in to a 3ds charger and boom it worked! Sold it on eBay for $150. Also, found 30 different Mario games for wii for $1 a piece. I kept Mario Galaxy 1-2 and sold the rest for around $300.
Then used the money to buy myself a switch. :) haven’t been to a pawnshop nor thrift store since now I’m old and have no time to go out, so I live curiously through your videos! :)

also didn't know about the skylander ps4 games, i normally ignore them but i'll have to look out for those. the switch version is worth a lot too, which is funny considering they were practically giving them away when toys r us was shutting down

80$ takes me 2.42hrs to make at my job, I've never looked at it like that , I make pretty good money as a welder but dang I e always wanted to be my own boss and be on my own time , I'd love to do this or any other type of resale etc but it's always been a huge fear and capitol problem for me cause of kids etc man this is super neat , I don't even play games haven't in years I'm an outdoorsmen and huge hunter and a welder obviously but this is inspiring to just go out and do what your heart desires , awesome content brother keep it coming

Dope video. I actually live in China and do video game shopping through the chinese version of amazon, which has actually netted me a few sweet pick ups. Mainly because English versions of games are harder to get rid of here, so everyone once in awhile i get some sweet deals.
I also still go through craigslist and have my parents or friends in areas pick things up for me.
I use both of these avenues to source games that i want for my collection through ebay
just gotta get creative

Found a copy of Project zero 2 Wii Edition and Ju on both where japanese in a pawn shop online only wanted £10.00 I took a chance and they both arrived complete

Seeing rhythm heaven fever cost so much money hurts me so much. No matter what console you love, you want games, you’re selling all your organs, your soul, and your physical possessions to do it.
Dragon builders is now $.03 for the switch (depending upon location of course) so just something that if you wanted to build a bundle for switches like you had said it would be a cheap investment.
I have that randomly in my library.

Absolute ripper score with that new and sealed Wii game! I found a pc gta san Andreas game new and sealed in the thrift store a few weeks back and sold it tonight for $100 plus postage and I paid $3 for it! It's totally possible to do this!

I have a lot of luck at bootfairs for gaming stuff. Arrived late at one in Canterbury as I had to pick up a friend who wanted to come and everybody was packing up to go. Some people had left some boxes of stuff they didn't want and I wasn't going to look in them, but something caught my eye. I thought it was an old, slick looking car radio. It was a black edition Nintendo Wii console. My chin hit the floor. No accessories or cables for it, but still. Who leaves a Wii console behind? Worked like a charm too. Not videos games, but I did also pick up years ago 2 complete sets of the Pokemon Southern Islands promo card collection and one of them was still factory sealed. I didn't buy them on the same day, but they were within weeks of each other for £2 each.
I need to get back into this.. I just got lazy ugh. I had started and I was flipping 360 ps3 ps2 games from $1 - $3 to 10 - 20 on each game.
I am loving me some pawn shops.

Hey Caleb or anyone in the comments section, how do you get those pawnshop stickers and gamestop stickers off without damaging the cases?
I use goo gone, I put the goo gone on a paper towel and apply it to the sticker but I do it at least 3 times letting it dry overnight each time and usually the sticker will come off very easily.
What app were you using to scan those games?
Got bored yesterday and went out hunting for new game's. Got lucky at the first pawn shop. The owner just brought in her old lot of Atari 2600 game's, about 45 in total. Paid $100 but the total value is $475. I'm not a reseller though so they'll stay in my collection.
