    That's really fantastic. One thing you may have not considered is the color-fading ability of almost every lamp. It is an insidious damager of collections, like this. It can take years, but it is happening. I once saw a Star Wars collection of a collector and the guy couldn't even see what I was talking about. The last time I saw his collection, the fading was so bad and he could now see it. It reminded me of how our accent can change by moving sonewhere without us knowing. Anyway, great stuff.
    I should ad, some LED systems are far better at this problem. Others still slowly affect color.

    I have a basement full of this stuff. When I was living in Japan, I started to collect games and ship them home because I didn't have room in my small apartment in Japan. At the same time, unknown to me, my Mom and Aunt were going to garage sales and estate sales and, as a surprise, my Mom started to buy all the console games she came across. She did this for 6 years. I was eventually surprised with all of these games and consoles at my 33rd Birthday. In 6 years, my Mom had bought over 4,000 games. I was shocked. She said the most games were 50 cents, a dollar, $2 at most. She is a retired RN so, I don't think the estimated $8000 she spent was too noticable to her over the 6 years. She also bought several brand new appearing boxed NES, SNES, Game Cubes, Genesis, Atari Jaguars, a few NEO GEO boxed consoles. Shockingly, I have over 500 Game Cube games. One garage sale, she found 20+ Neo-Geo boxed carts. She paid 10 each for them, or she spent around $200. My Dad was actually get annoyed with her because he made her move his boat from the garage to outside where he had to put a cover on the boat. To this day, I have close to 35 medium boxes of console games, and consoles that are now in storage. I think I might have $100,000 worth of games, plus consoles. WHen I told my Dad, he said, good, "you can pay us back the $8,000 dollars your Mother spend." hhahha

    "I never had a Super Nintendo, I went straight N64." Man I have to say that's a real pity. In terms of the sheer volume of incredible games, I would say the SNES is probably Nintendo's best system. N64's titles were excellent, but it lacked the enormous number of great titles.

      @horseality6250 4 года назад

      If you want to start a collection I would keep an eye on good deals. Do researches on the prices and make your own limits :D
      It’s useally cheaper to buy convults (with games, more controllers/consoles at once) instead of everything seperate.
      If you are interested in repairing things your own, you can save a lot of money even with little things like cleaning up. Sometimes it’s just dirty contacts :)
      A good tip: Sometimes they sell n64/snes... for like nothing because they think the system isn’t working. When they show a light but no picture they often just have a ,,too modern" tv that requires a rgb signal which the old consoles don’t have. Of cause it can be a lot of other things too but most of the time its pretty easy to repair.
      (I hope its understandable english isnt my mothertongue :D)
