After trialing the Magic Keyboard and Logitech Combo for a month, the Logitech Combo had more benefits than negatives. This is what works best for me, but keep in mind that everyone’s use differs.

Your review helped me decide the Logitech Combo Touch is exactly what I want. I have it now. In my opinion, it is far better. I don’t know if you will see this but after roughly 5 months of having the Combo Touch, how is the battery drainage of the iPad when the Combo Touch is connected?
@@derhensler I really can't speak to that because my iPad spends 99% of it's life on a charger. I don't think I've ever run the battery down. Charge capacity just isn't an issue for me.
This video is the most narrow minded one I have ever seen. You point out literally every way that the Logitech is better, but come to the conclusion that the Apple one is better. Apple cannot have more than one angle, gets fingerprints too easily, no function keys, not protected when removed from keyboard, etc. The use case scenarios you put forth are only the ones that you imagine, but certainly do not take into consideration any other possibilities. I have both and have the complete opposite opinion. Maybe you can be a little more thoughtful in future videos.

For the people who always uses their lap as a platform, by all means yes the Magic Keyboard works better. However, for the people who prefer using a desk or something Logitech is a way to go as well. But that's my opinion since I never really used my lap to prop up my iPad/laptop

So your disappointment with this keyboard (Logitech), was the fact that you can't use it as a laptop, and got nothing to do with the build quality and features itself? Wow. His review is actually really good. He is fair - he gives the pros and cons of each case. He says what features he values and why he ultimately prefers the Magic Keyboard. I'm leaning toward the Combo Touch, but I understand his rationale.
First of all, the combo touch is ACTUALLY a case, it covers the iPad and isn’t just held by some magnets, and you can take off the keyboard on the combo touch which is a HUGE advantage in my opinion. And not to mention, the combo touch is more comfortable to rest your hands on when typing because of that material they are using, the trackpad is also bigger on the combo touch(imo, the apple trackpad feels better to use, but the combo touch is just more versatile and responsive) which allows you to be able to move your finger along the trackpad for a longer period of time. And for around 150 CAD($100 USD) the combo touch is much preferable not just for me, but for most people.
Technically this is a great review in that it thoroughly covers all the features of the Logitech case. As long as you just kind of…. ignore the conclusion, other than that it’s good lol
Something i notice when looking at this review is how you put a negative spin on everything the Logitech keyboard has to offer. You have a biased opinion and you favour Apple. If you are planning to review products, look at them fairly and from a neutral standpoint. What features are available, Logitech has more. Logitech is more flexible, so apple has a better typing surface. Try doing pro's and con's of both rather just bashing Logitech into the ground without giving it a chance. Poor and biased review, looked elsewhere for my infromation.
I agree with the comments that the Logitech combo touch is the better case and keyboard. The additional feature controls that you can unlock from the accessibility menu under pointer controls by using a regular Bluetooth mouse on setup make the Logitech device very responsive indeed. Although I did appreciate the side by side comparisons. They also made me glad I got the Logitech device.
This was so stupid, the detachable keyboard alone is a big selling point. Also the function keys but he found a way to make it a disadvantage by excusing his poor positioning.
I had the Apple keyboard. The Apple keyboard had a ton of fingerprints on it after a couple of days. I ended up getting the Logitech and I have never looked back.
I honestly find this very funny. While just watching 4 minutes of this video, it was clear he prefers the apple magic keyboard. But as he pointed out how “bad” he thought the Logitech was, when it didn’t support the same features HE would want as a laptop, it only solidified my decision to choose Logitech. Since it is more versatile and useful based on what was shown. Overall, this man is very narrow minded.
One of your gripes of the Logitech is that it had a hard case rather than just the iPad on its own (which could get damaged). Then you recommend spending more money on a “cool” upgrade for the apple keyboard ….. by adding a cheap looking plastic case to it?! Respectfully disagree with your review. I have had both cases now and overall I by far prefer the combo touch. The kick stand is amazing. It’s reliable, strong, holds the ipad in any position. The ability to remove the keyboard and prop up my iPad in any position comfortable to my eyes and browse the web without having to hold my ipad is great. The magic keyboard weight balance is horrible. It’s very awkward to use on your lap. Then you have to remove it from the case and suddenly you have to hold your ipad to use it which could be cumbersome. the things I find amazing on the magic keyboard however is the keyboard and trackpad precision. but overall I find the combo touch to be way more usable day to day. Thanks for your opinion though!

I love how you had the table holding the iPad steady when typing with it on your lap. All other review videos I’ve seen about the Magic Keyboard shows how the iPad is unstable to use when on your lap. I will agree that the Logitech keyboard isn’t great on your lap either. Personally I think you secretly like the Logitech one but thought you would get more views if you talked bad about it. Hell, it got me to watch it. 😄
I've tried both and really wanted to love the magic keyboard which is great if you're using the iPad as a computer and don't care about protection when using as a normal iPad. The Logitech just made more sense for me as I don't really type on my iPad unless I'm sitting at a desk or table and don't do that stuff on the go and use my phone for that. I also like the kickstand as I have a five year old we watch videos while learning etc. Lastly, for the drawing angle I don't do that. I just lay my iPad flat like I would a piece of paper and use an angled table if I need. I don't see how anyone draws with just the iPad as an angle and not the surface it is on....sounds exhausting and not fun. I think both are great just the magic keyboard isn't for me.
7:19 this was actually the most frustrating part of the case which is why if you want to take handwritten notes because you're a student like me, go for any case that has the triangle base for support it's MUCH sturdier

There is a huge safety issue with apple magic keyboard and having spent that ridiculous amount of money for an ipad pro i want risk it to fall and get dents(or maybe a permanent screen damage). So if you want to save your precious money for the ipad you've bought kindly buy the logitech combo touch.
I've ordered the Logitech Combo Touch for my iPad Air 5. I had one for the iPad 9th gen and I loved it. I love the kickstand. It's actually my favourite part of the case, along with the fact that the case offers a lot of protection. The screen lock button is something I use quite frequently. Also, I would never spend £350 on a keyboard case. £199 (which is what I paid) is expensive, but an extra £150 is extreme for something that, in my humble opinion, is just not as good.
problems with your review: 1. You simply glance over the fact that once you take off the ipad off the magic keyboard, you have a hard time just putting it on the table and writing on it with the apple pencil for the fear of scratching the bottom surface. This is a HUGE problem. You buy the ipad and the ipad pencil for a reason, and that is so you could freaking WRITE on it. It's what sets it apart from laptops. And the fact that you simply state/suggest spending another $70 for a fill-in case that not only costs money but weighs more, is just mind boggling. OH YEAH, and that just about brings the magic keyboard + that extra case to a total of $400. REALLY? 2. You make it sound as though you need the keyboard attached to the back on the logitech case for you to work with the ipad. HUH? There is a REASON why you could detach the keyboard from the case, and that's so you could forego that when you are just writing stuff or are just watching stuff on the bed or whatever. It makes the ipad lighter while still having the case on the back and it makes it more VERSATILE. 3. Refer to above for the meaning of VERSATILE. Because I don't think you used it correctly in your video.

The only really good point is that the system shut-off key is OFTEN inadvertently hit when trying to backup/delete. I have an older Logitech, and while I love the function keys, the system shut off is annoying. Otherwise, he is completely convincing at getting me to “AVOID THIS iPad Pro Case!!”… that is, the Magic Keyboard.
hey guys! i have the logitech combo touch for ipad air 4. my trackpad 1 & 3 finger gestures work PERFECT. my 2 finger gestures DID work perfect, but it started getting a little slow and now it completely doesn’t work whatsoever. i try to clear apps and scroll with the 2 finger gestures but now i have to press down with one finger and scroll. how to fix??
I don‘t agree with you at all. I can fit the Logitech keyboard perfectly on my lap and can work on it. The keyboard doesn’t bounce back at all. The trackpad feels great and the important thing for me is that it offers protection. The Logitech keyboard offers so much more than the Magic Keyboard. You use the Magic Keyboard just for typing. If you want to use your iPad for sketching then you have to use it naked (unless you pay 65$ more for the case while the protection in the combo touch is included). I don’t see any reason to pay 100$ more for less function’s.

The kickstand and the detachable keyboard is the reason I bought the Logitech. The rest is only minor cons, Logitech Combo is far more superior than any product out there. The only major drawback is the weight, which you failed to mention.

I really don't see how the apple magic keyboard is superior from the explanations in this video. In my opinion, I think the Logitech is better going by pros and cons, but I prefer the magic keyboard based on the lap usability.
I can’t comment on the Logitech, because I haven’t tried it. However, as an owner of the iPad Pro 12.9 and magic keyboard cover, I will say that the magic keyboard is an extremely poor design. It is inherently unstable at almost any angle, can’t really be used on your lap unless you hold your palms on the rests to keep it from toppling over, and it provides literally no protection at all for any part of the tablet except the screen, and that is only when it’s closed. The minute you take the tablet off to use it as an actual tablet, it’s completely exposed and naked on all sides. It also provides no mechanism to retain the Apple Pencil, which is pretty absurd. No, the magnet on the iPad is NOT strong enough to trust when transporting the tablet via any method. As soon as I find a good replacement, I’ll be selling the “magic” keyboard, whose only magical property appears to be its ability to drain your wallet with a premium price for a mediocre product.
Found the combo for $70 in Woot. And I had just purchased my m2 iPad Pro brand new for $800. Lucky me. Add the Apple Pencil 2 for $70 and I think I’ve made a killing.
I have the Logi combo and my 11” m1 turns off the screen by just closing. No need to hit screen lock button. I do agree with the springiness when setup for drawing, needs to be firmed up somehow but I’m very happy with the Logi. Edit to say, if you are accidentally hitting the screen lock key then you are making key mistakes all over the place not just the lock key. Great video presentation though, as good as any Pro out there! Just lost me at the conclusion. The 2 biggest reasons I bought the Logi was price and protection when disconnected from keyboard.

For me the viewing angles of the Magic Keyboard work great. I’ve had it now for about 2 years and never had an issue or needed something else. One of the main reasons I prefer the Magic Keyboard is how it fits on my lap. My preference. I’m looking at the Logitech again though for my girlfriend. For her and how I see her use her iPad, the Logitech may work better.
I went with the Logitech and it did not hold out well in the long term. Rubber on the rim along the front of the iPad started separating in a year. I regret buying it. Honestly wanted to keep enjoying it, but I would recommend against it.

I moved from the Magic Keyboard to the Logitech because although the MGK is way more refined feeling, 1. There is no side protection, and none outside of the case, and 2. when I want to use the iPad as just a tablet, I am stuck with a naked iPad that makes me nervous even with AppleCare, and if I am on a plane or out somewhere and I want to use the tablet, with the MGK now I am carrying around a heavy clunky case and the iPad removed. That was so annoying that I went Logitech. It's not perfect but it provides protection and everything can be contained in one piece rather than 2.
2 points my dude. you must be pretty short to not type on the combo in lap. Not saying its still not a fault. Just saying it is not as bad as you made it out to be. The other is drawing on the ipad with the keyboard inverted. Using the keyboard as an anchor point is great when drawing. I think they are both great keyboards. But some of the faults you said are... well good. It is personal preference at the end of the day of course. Great review. Thumbs up hit.

Disagree. The Logitech sketch mode is far superior to Apple. You can’t sketch on the Apple at all. Most people don’t get tablet to type on primarily. While writing papers the functionality of the Apple document software is limited.
The magic keyboard I got for my iPad Pro 12.9 last weekend is packaged up and ready to go back to BestBuy in exchange for the Logitech Combo Touch after watching this video. I just didn't like the magic keyboard. Maybe it's because of my little Lenovo Chromebook Duet, that has the same fabric material as the logitech along with the kickstand. The Duet cover still looks brand new. No fingerprints, scratches, smudges on the cover and having a choice of multiple angles to prop it at, is just superior, imho. Function keys as well... Thank you Sir for helping me make up my mind... The Logitech is coming home today!
Is this review for real? you didn't make a single compelling point the whole video the "it doesn't sit on your lap" segment was a joke. This came off more as a hit-piece on the logitech than anything else and I say that not really liking the logitech case
Agreed. Sometimes you want to lock the screen when you go to the bathroom so your wife doesn’t see what you were looking at. The button is so much faster and convenient than closing the case like he mentioned. What if you don’t want the case closed?
So I'm guessing the iPad is also smart enough to adjust the screen brighness, volume, and rewind and fast forward videos by itself without touching the screen? A function row is on every laptop for a reason. Touch screen or not.
I have one for the iPad 10.2 9th Gen. and I don’t have those problem sponginess or flimsiness and I get plenty of feedback on my trackpad. I get sturdy clickiness on it like a regular computer .
I listened carefully. You like the Apple keyboard better cool…, but you didn’t mention the protection the Logitech case provided to the edges of the iPad. I agree that the Apple keyboard is more polished and very well done, but I like the extra protection that the Logitech case provides.
I appreciate this review as I just looked at the reviews for the Logitech case online and they are not good on durability. Many people are having issues with it warping. While I have seen all the reviews on the flexibility the Logitech case offers, I can see ur points about how unnecessary some of these feature can be. Makes perfect sense to say one is more refined than the other.
@@mannyislikethat I guess I am something else. You are not understanding my point of view. All of these comparison reviews have a huge flaw which is durability. They only compare functionality. Sure, one is cheaper with more functions but what good is cost and functionality when you will need to buy another one later. This is why I avoid iphones bc I would rather have functionality of android over the solid build of iPhones. I am going to change my phone often anyways so that eliminates my concern of durability. However I buy Mac books over other laptops bc durability and longevity is my concern. I can't do things on mac's that I can do on windows based laptops but I don't care enough to forgo the longevity that I have experienced with MacBooks. I have pruchased the apple case and I am very satisfied with it. I don't need multiple positions when the one I have is just fine. I have also added a case to the iPad itself so that elimates my concern over the iPad not being protected when I take it off the stand/case.
I love my Combo Touch. If you want to save energy or dont want your colleagues to read you mails - just press the lock-button, no need for closing.. ;)

I love my Logitech One Touch case. I wanted a protective drop protected case. This met this where as the apple case did not period. So far I’ve had zero issues with the vinyl fabric on the case and this is used in my kitchen area where major stains can occur.
Personally, I find the logitech way more versatile and useful based on what was presented. This review only solidified my decision.

So in your comparison review Ben, you point out in every conceivable way WHY the Logitech Combo Touch is LITERALLY more superior in every way to the Magic Keyboard, and yet you give the edge to the Magic Keyboard because it's a 'more refined experience in day to day life'. Makes perfect sense to me (I think not). So your disappointment with this keyboard (Logitech), was the fact that you can't use it as a laptop, and got nothing to do with the build quality and features itself? Wow. Do you honestly think that people only use these cases as a replacement to your laptop so to speak? Talk about narrow minded.

First of all, the combo touch is ACTUALLY a case, it covers the iPad and isn’t just held by some magnets, and you can take off the keyboard on the combo touch which is a HUGE advantage in my opinion. And not to mention, the combo touch is more comfortable to rest your hands on when typing because of that material they are using, the trackpad is also bigger on the combo touch(imo, the apple trackpad feels better to use, but the combo touch is just more versatile and responsive) which allows you to be able to move your finger along the trackpad for a longer period of time. And for around 150 CAD($100 USD) the combo touch is much preferable not just for me, but for most people.
But but but, you can buy an 80€ pitaka case too complete the Magic Keyboard that Apple could not figure out how to properly protect apparently

Something i notice when looking at this review is how you put a negative spin on everything the Logitech keyboard has to offer. You have a biased opinion and you favour Apple. If you are planning to review products, look at them fairly and from a neutral standpoint. What features are available, Logitech has more. Logitech is more flexible, so apple has a better typing surface. Try doing pro's and con's of both rather just bashing Logitech into the ground without giving it a chance. Poor and biased review, looked elsewhere for my infromation.
I agree with the comments that the Logitech combo touch is the better case and keyboard. The additional feature controls that you can unlock from the accessibility menu under pointer controls by using a regular Bluetooth mouse on setup make the Logitech device very responsive indeed. Although I did appreciate the side by side comparisons. They also made me glad I got the Logitech device.

I had the Apple keyboard. The Apple keyboard had a ton of fingerprints on it after a couple of days. I ended up getting the Logitech and I have never looked back.
This video is a perfect example for the necessity of seeing the dislike count.
I honestly find this very funny. While just watching 4 minutes of this video, it was clear he prefers the apple magic keyboard. But as he pointed out how “bad” he thought the Logitech was, when it didn’t support the same features HE would want as a laptop, it only solidified my decision to choose Logitech. Since it is more versatile and useful based on what was shown. Overall, this man is very narrow minded.
One of your gripes of the Logitech is that it had a hard case rather than just the iPad on its own (which could get damaged). Then you recommend spending more money on a “cool” upgrade for the apple keyboard ….. by adding a cheap looking plastic case to it?!
It really sounded like the only big gripe on the Logitech was the face it was harder to type on your knees.
Respectfully disagree with your review. I have had both cases now and overall I by far prefer the combo touch. The kick stand is amazing. It’s reliable, strong, holds the ipad in any position. The ability to remove the keyboard and prop up my iPad in any position comfortable to my eyes and browse the web without having to hold my ipad is great. The magic keyboard weight balance is horrible. It’s very awkward to use on your lap. Then you have to remove it from the case and suddenly you have to hold your ipad to use it which could be cumbersome. the things I find amazing on the magic keyboard however is the keyboard and trackpad precision. but overall I find the combo touch to be way more usable day to day. Thanks for your opinion though!

Yikes! Apple Fanboy Alert! Looks to me like you had way more good things to say about the Logitech keyboard than the Apple one. I love how you had the table holding the iPad steady when typing with it on your lap. All other review videos I’ve seen about the Magic Keyboard shows how the iPad is unstable to use when on your lap. I will agree that the Logitech keyboard isn’t great on your lap either. Personally I think you secretly like the Logitech one but thought you would get more views if you talked bad about it. Hell, it got me to watch it. 😄

I've tried both and really wanted to love the magic keyboard which is great if you're using the iPad as a computer and don't care about protection when using as a normal iPad. The Logitech just made more sense for me as I don't really type on my iPad unless I'm sitting at a desk or table and don't do that stuff on the go and use my phone for that. I also like the kickstand as I have a five year old we watch videos while learning etc. Lastly, for the drawing angle I don't do that. I just lay my iPad flat like I would a piece of paper and use an angled table if I need. I don't see how anyone draws with just the iPad as an angle and not the surface it is on....sounds exhausting and not fun. I think both are great just the magic keyboard isn't for me.

7:19 this was actually the most frustrating part of the case which is why if you want to take handwritten notes because you're a student like me, go for any case that has the triangle base for support it's MUCH sturdier

over the years, after many ipads, cases, keyboards, combos, etc... the logitech has been *by faar* the best, leaps and bounds above the rest. Just having the ability to remove the keyboard while still having it in a protected case is the best

There is a huge safety issue with apple magic keyboard and having spent that ridiculous amount of money for an ipad pro i want risk it to fall and get dents(or maybe a permanent screen damage). So if you want to save your precious money for the ipad you've bought kindly buy the logitech combo touch.

I've ordered the Logitech Combo Touch for my iPad Air 5. I had one for the iPad 9th gen and I loved it. I love the kickstand. It's actually my favourite part of the case, along with the fact that the case offers a lot of protection. The screen lock button is something I use quite frequently. Also, I would never spend £350 on a keyboard case. £199 (which is what I paid) is expensive, but an extra £150 is extreme for something that, in my humble opinion, is just not as good.
problems with your review:
1. You simply glance over the fact that once you take off the ipad off the magic keyboard, you have a hard time just putting it on the table and writing on it with the apple pencil for the fear of scratching the bottom surface. This is a HUGE problem. You buy the ipad and the ipad pencil for a reason, and that is so you could freaking WRITE on it. It's what sets it apart from laptops. And the fact that you simply state/suggest spending another $70 for a fill-in case that not only costs money but weighs more, is just mind boggling. OH YEAH, and that just about brings the magic keyboard + that extra case to a total of $400. REALLY?
2. You make it sound as though you need the keyboard attached to the back on the logitech case for you to work with the ipad. HUH? There is a REASON why you could detach the keyboard from the case, and that's so you could forego that when you are just writing stuff or are just watching stuff on the bed or whatever. It makes the ipad lighter while still having the case on the back and it makes it more VERSATILE.
3. Refer to above for the meaning of VERSATILE. Because I don't think you used it correctly in your video.

Dude, you literally managed to explain that logitech is better but concluded that the magic keyboard is better. hahaha. That's really funny to me. I love apple products. I own two macbooks, one 12 inch ipad pro, one 11 inch ipad pro, and two older versions of ipad. And even I think that your video is ridiculous. LOL
You said you didnt need a lockscreen button, but is sooo much easier just to click the button than close the entire magic keyboard case, like wtf???
Fabric cover is quite hard to clean once it’s get dirty, but it’s still way better than a greasy rubber. Just my experience.

The only really good point is that the system shut-off key is OFTEN inadvertently hit when trying to backup/delete. I have an older Logitech, and while I love the function keys, the system shut off is annoying. Otherwise, he is completely convincing at getting me to “AVOID THIS iPad Pro Case!!”… that is, the Magic Keyboard.

hey guys! i have the logitech combo touch for ipad air 4. my trackpad 1 & 3 finger gestures work PERFECT. my 2 finger gestures DID work perfect, but it started getting a little slow and now it completely doesn’t work whatsoever. i try to clear apps and scroll with the 2 finger gestures but now i have to press down with one finger and scroll. how to fix??
I don‘t agree with you at all. I can fit the Logitech keyboard perfectly on my lap and can work on it. The keyboard doesn’t bounce back at all. The trackpad feels great and the important thing for me is that it offers protection. The Logitech keyboard offers so much more than the Magic Keyboard. You use the Magic Keyboard just for typing. If you want to use your iPad for sketching then you have to use it naked (unless you pay 65$ more for the case while the protection in the combo touch is included). I don’t see any reason to pay 100$ more for less function’s.
That tech has been around for a looong time I think you won’t have to worry about that as there is a lot of research out there on it now

The kickstand and the detachable keyboard is the reason I bought the Logitech. The rest is only minor cons, Logitech Combo is far more superior than any product out there. The only major drawback is the weight, which you failed to mention.

I really don't see how the apple magic keyboard is superior from the explanations in this video. In my opinion, I think the Logitech is better going by pros and cons, but I prefer the magic keyboard based on the lap usability.

I can’t comment on the Logitech, because I haven’t tried it. However, as an owner of the iPad Pro 12.9 and magic keyboard cover, I will say that the magic keyboard is an extremely poor design. It is inherently unstable at almost any angle, can’t really be used on your lap unless you hold your palms on the rests to keep it from toppling over, and it provides literally no protection at all for any part of the tablet except the screen, and that is only when it’s closed. The minute you take the tablet off to use it as an actual tablet, it’s completely exposed and naked on all sides. It also provides no mechanism to retain the Apple Pencil, which is pretty absurd. No, the magnet on the iPad is NOT strong enough to trust when transporting the tablet via any method.
As soon as I find a good replacement, I’ll be selling the “magic” keyboard, whose only magical property appears to be its ability to drain your wallet with a premium price for a mediocre product.
Found the combo for $70 in Woot. And I had just purchased my m2 iPad Pro brand new for $800. Lucky me. Add the Apple Pencil 2 for $70 and I think I’ve made a killing.
The like/dislike ratio is a good indication of how full of BS this video is.
I have the Logi combo and my 11” m1 turns off the screen by just closing. No need to hit screen lock button. I do agree with the springiness when setup for drawing, needs to be firmed up somehow but I’m very happy with the Logi.
Edit to say, if you are accidentally hitting the screen lock key then you are making key mistakes all over the place not just the lock key.
Great video presentation though, as good as any Pro out there! Just lost me at the conclusion.

For me the viewing angles of the Magic Keyboard work great. I’ve had it now for about 2 years and never had an issue or needed something else. One of the main reasons I prefer the Magic Keyboard is how it fits on my lap. My preference. I’m looking at the Logitech again though for my girlfriend. For her and how I see her use her iPad, the Logitech may work better.
I went with the Logitech and it did not hold out well in the long term. Rubber on the rim along the front of the iPad started separating in a year. I regret buying it. Honestly wanted to keep enjoying it, but I would recommend against it.
The logitech combo touch is so bad that apple has now copied it.
My question is longevity on the hinge of the Logitech combo touch kickstand. Will it eventually start to slide down on its own?

I moved from the Magic Keyboard to the Logitech because although the MGK is way more refined feeling, 1. There is no side protection, and none outside of the case, and 2. when I want to use the iPad as just a tablet, I am stuck with a naked iPad that makes me nervous even with AppleCare, and if I am on a plane or out somewhere and I want to use the tablet, with the MGK now I am carrying around a heavy clunky case and the iPad removed. That was so annoying that I went Logitech. It's not perfect but it provides protection and everything can be contained in one piece rather than 2.
2 points my dude. you must be pretty short to not type on the combo in lap. Not saying its still not a fault. Just saying it is not as bad as you made it out to be. The other is drawing on the ipad with the keyboard inverted. Using the keyboard as an anchor point is great when drawing. I think they are both great keyboards. But some of the faults you said are... well good. It is personal preference at the end of the day of course. Great review. Thumbs up hit.

Disagree. The Logitech sketch mode is far superior to Apple. You can’t sketch on the Apple at all. Most people don’t get tablet to type on primarily. While writing papers the functionality of the Apple document software is limited.

The magic keyboard I got for my iPad Pro 12.9 last weekend is packaged up and ready to go back to BestBuy in exchange for the Logitech Combo Touch after watching this video.
I just didn't like the magic keyboard. Maybe it's because of my little Lenovo Chromebook Duet, that has the same fabric material as the logitech along with the kickstand. The Duet cover still looks brand new. No fingerprints, scratches, smudges on the cover and having a choice of multiple angles to prop it at, is just superior, imho. Function keys as well...

Agreed. Sometimes you want to lock the screen when you go to the bathroom so your wife doesn’t see what you were looking at. The button is so much faster and convenient than closing the case like he mentioned. What if you don’t want the case closed?

I have one for the iPad 10.2 9th Gen. and I don’t have those problem sponginess or flimsiness and I get plenty of feedback on my trackpad. I get sturdy clickiness on it like a regular computer .

I listened carefully. You like the Apple keyboard better cool…, but you didn’t mention the protection the Logitech case provided to the edges of the iPad. I agree that the Apple keyboard is more polished and very well done, but I like the extra protection that the Logitech case provides.
I appreciate this review as I just looked at the reviews for the Logitech case online and they are not good on durability. Many people are having issues with it warping. While I have seen all the reviews on the flexibility the Logitech case offers, I can see ur points about how unnecessary some of these feature can be. Makes perfect sense to say one is more refined than the other.
If you find a detachable keyboard, function keys, more than 1 viewing angle, and more is unnecessary, you are something else mate.
@@mannyislikethat I guess I am something else. You are not understanding my point of view. All of these comparison reviews have a huge flaw which is durability. They only compare functionality. Sure, one is cheaper with more functions but what good is cost and functionality when you will need to buy another one later. This is why I avoid iphones bc I would rather have functionality of android over the solid build of iPhones. I am going to change my phone often anyways so that eliminates my concern of durability. However I buy Mac books over other laptops bc durability and longevity is my concern. I can't do things on mac's that I can do on windows based laptops but I don't care enough to forgo the longevity that I have experienced with MacBooks. I have pruchased the apple case and I am very satisfied with it. I don't need multiple positions when the one I have is just fine. I have also added a case to the iPad itself so that elimates my concern over the iPad not being protected when I take it off the stand/case.
I love my Combo Touch. If you want to save energy or dont want your colleagues to read you mails - just press the lock-button, no need for closing.. ;)

I love my Logitech One Touch case. I wanted a protective drop protected case. This met this where as the apple case did not period. So far I’ve had zero issues with the vinyl fabric on the case and this is used in my kitchen area where major stains can occur.
Couldn’t agree more, far as trying this on your lap, its just doesnt work and it wasnt comfortable for me either
