In this video you get to watch along as I discover Mulan 2 for the first time! We previously watched other fun movies, and now it's time for us to watch and react to Mulan 2. I haven't seen anything regarding these movies, so this will be my new reaction and commentary to Mulan 2 (2004).

I personally liked this movie, for me it was nice and we got more Mulan and Shang moments and we got deeper into their relationship and also I was happy to see the boys find love with their matches

Since I was a kid, I always thought there was a certain charm to it. Sure, the film's got defaults, but it's got also qualities.
It's mostly the bad message that's the problem

Sameeee it’s pretty good for a sequel. Definitely higher quality animation than most other Disney sequels.
Fun fact: Ming-Na Wen, the voice actress of Mulan, actually cried while recording the part where Shang sacrificed himself when he and Mulan were hanging on the bridge.

me too ! i do know that i like the lion king 2, cinderella 2 (the 3th is my favorite ) and the little mermaid 2 but after rewatching it i like it less that i remember, still it's a childwood memory and i like that they give the sisters characters in the 3th, i'm not realy difficult with disney sequels that i know of 🤔, i wish they would have keep making 2d animations..like at least alter between 2d and 3d

Can't say that I hated it compared to most people and I still love Mushu despite being extra selfish in the film but I do still wish Eddie Murphy was still playing him.

I love how the entire movie Rival was measuring the time until Lonnie would be born. XD
the way i remember the difference between a manicure and a pedicure is the spanish words “mano” and “pie”, they got the first letters as the corresponding hand/foot
In the first script of this version, the princesses didn't love the guards and just pretended to get out of their arranged marriages. There was a clip where Su confessed to Chien Po that she didn't know the first thing about cooking and he passed out with shock. They changed it to make the princesses more likable.
when i was younger i always liked the second mulan movie more because I thought the first one was too scary lol

Would love for you to check out Lilo and Stitch! It’s one of my favorite Disney movies with Mulan and princess and the frog. I think it’s a largely underrated Disney movie and I don’t see a lot of reactors watching it so thought I would recommend!
💍now the chances of you having already seen The Lion King is high (if not then please do!) But as far as decent Disney sequels go The Lion King 2 is a pretty good one. Would love to see you react to it/them!
I agree. I related more to Kiara growing up than Simba so i like pt 2 better than 1.
I LUV the Lion King 2, twas my childhood! With the first one I never really got the jokes and how good it actually was until recently, now I love both.
I don't get the hate for this movie it's a pretty good sequel compared to others plus it's either this or the shitty liveaction
I like that they elaborated on their east Bali she’s differences and made this movie about compromise and not resenting those differences and how that makes them stronger

I like this movie because it makes this a more realistic romance than most disney couples.

Idk why but I would like to see you watch the Cinderella 2015 remake. One of the better disney live action remakes in my opinion.

I really liked this movie not as much as the first one ofc but this wasn’t that bad and it had some bops lol “one alone is not enough” and “I wanna be like other girls” is my fav 😂😭

I agree,it's not as good as the first,it simply cannot be,that's a masterpiece,but it's still a fun,entertaining and funny movie,I always liked it,and I have to rewatch it,you made me want to,because last time I did,I didn't watch LOTR yet not noticing the reference of Shang falling in a river and then found by his horse,just like Aragorn,so it must've passed more than 10 years.
I also have to agree,Yao is a great character,my fav together with Mulan!
9:40 he has had gorilla vibes since that time in the first movie when Shang stopped him from climbing that big pole for giving him those weights,he went full-on gorilla pose because he seemed bothered by the interruption

Being 100% Honest, Mulan(live action) would be a good movie if it wasn't called Mulan, I feel like the live action movie didn't respect the original one, I just didn't like it, like the movie is good but for me is not Mulan, Like the story is not like that, they cut off characters and that got me disappointed.

I didn’t think this sequel was that bad. I think Pocahontas 2 is by far the worst Disney animated sequel. I thought the romance was cute and it wasn’t a complete copy of the plot of the first unlike many sequels. Nothing will be like the first one but this one is pretty good. 💍

There are actually two Mulan live action movies. The first from 2009 (which is very good) and a Disney adaptation that is sucks.
If you want to watch the movie Mulan, I highly recommend it from 2009.

As for the "holding a lily" line i believe its a training method. Like how english ladys put books on their heads to practice walking gracefully. Hand placement is just as important as posture and gracefulness and manners and "fashion " (no pinchy shoes)

Out of all the "2" movies of that era, I actually like this one. I think a lot of times you hear the groaning over this from people who remember the 2000's "2" movie stunt Disney did and lump them all together as one. Don't get me wrong, a majority of those were really not good, but this one shouldn't be lumped in with them. Ring emoji.
