I have a couple of disney/pixar movies you can watch tarzan lilo and stitch the cars movies wreck it Ralph ralph breaks the internet finding nemo and finding dory❤❤😊❤❤👍
Pocahontas
Please watch Hercules !
Can you try french movies please ? We have good ones too like " The Chorists "
Can you do Prince of Egypt or Family Trap? 🙏
Fun fact: 'fire cooking' or Flambé is when you use alcohol and then tilt the pan so the fumes from the alcohol catch fire to help burn off the rest of the alcohol. That's why you'll see fancy dishes with 'wine reductions' as the sauce on the plate. It actually adds a nice depth of flavor if you know how to do it, but you can also just be safe and boil the alcohol off, but Flambé is the quicker way lol
The best meat I've had in my life was a fillet of beef which was flambéd (I don't know the past tense of this word, I'm sorry lmao) in cognac.
i’m doing an advanced cookery course and one of our assessment is to flambé a list of dishes while doing gueridon service right in front of the customers. it was the most fun I’ve had in a while. the customers gasping in awe when the flame burst gives you a sense of pride. it’s also extremely fun to do!
@@grawxxor2820 Flambeed would be correct I believe.
@@grawxxor2820 flambéed is correct, flambeed too as PerssonTM said
"She's a bit overworked" describes 90% of kitchen workers lmao. This film accurately portrays how stressful kitchens are
"sweetbread" actually refers to certain organs of a calf or lamb. usually pancreas. which is probably why it looked weird to you if you were expecting an actual 'bread'
This.. this makes so much sense
Nooooo, somebody was going to offer him a side of sweetbread one day and he'd have been surprised that it's organs and not a piece of cake or something.
That would have been hilarious 😂
@@RivalReacts I've actually had a sweet bread before that was essentially a donut but less sticky and that was what I used to picture when people said sweet breads I was very disappointed to learn that it's like organ meat fun fact I have a cat and I feel bad even giving her organ meat and certain variety packs of wet food will contain like chicken liver or turkey giblets and I'm like I don't think I want her to have that
It's extra funny and ironic because "sweetmeats" is an old term for some baked treats XD
Thanks, I did not know this
Sweetheart, I'm going to blow your mind here - not only can you grown Rosemary in a garden, but you can *also* grow Parsley, Oregano, Basil, Thyme, Chives...alllllll of the herbs! Most of them grow well indoors, in like, a kitchen window. Save yourself some coin!
Now you've made me want to see him do videos on gardening or at least on growing herbs in the kitchen or front yard
@@agenttheater5 That would be fun!
Yeah and they're pretty easy to get. At least for me I can find the live plants for $2-$3 at the grocery store and just clip some leaves off when you wanna use some fresh herbs :D
@@agenttheater5 LMAO i meaaaann
@@RivalReacts You started talking about Rosemary and our imaginations went wild!
The Emperor's New Groove is widely agreed to be the funniest animated Disney film ever. Your favorite character will be Kronk, calling it now.
rival listen to this genius
Everyone's favourite character is Kronk. He is un-unlovable!
Remy was _separated_ from the rest of his clan when they were fleeing from the house. They floated one way, he floated another. No rats died in the escape.
"So much death in this movie. Disney this isn't you." 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Also, you're right. He was never a villain. He was an antagonist. There's a difference. 🙂
Disney is all about the dead moms and/or dads. Almost no MCs make it through with both parents!
Lion king was the first movie to pop in my mind. Mufasa’s death was huge.
@@octavecrush For me it was Mulan but yeah, the dead parent trope is a old as the Disney company.
I took French in high school and we were planning on making Ratatouille so my teacher put on this movie a few days before but obviously in French. May I just say the short chef is absolutely terrifying when he is yelling in French!
Hope you had a good time :)
Damn, I don’t have the dvd anymore to witness Scary French Skinner. I need a friend with Disney+
The Gusteau stuff is kind of dark when you realize that some chefs have killed themselves when their kitchen lost a Michelin star.
Don't worry, your pronounciation of " Ratatouille " is perfect ans it's a french who says that.
About the " peasant dish " the restaurant is gastronomic so it's not the type of dish we can find normally in this type of restaurants.
Personally, I think Colette is a good representation of how it's difficult for women to be accepted in some jobs who are " normally " for men, without a lot of temper.
Her french voice actress is the singer of the song you can hear during the movie.
By the way, did you notice Folamour of " The Incredibles " ? He's the mime in the scene where Linguini and Colette do roller skate
Really, I’m surprised they even have the recipe card
@@gamemaster2819 well, it's more a traditional dish but I suppose they can cook it in a gastronomic way.
Plus, how Remy presents it is a variant of the original dish called " un confit byaldi " (the original is how the young Ego eats it)
on est d'accord

Also, that rat killing store etalage is an actual thing.
I’ve always really enjoyed this film. There’s something so charming about it 🐁🐀

ikr HAHAH
Just in case you’re wondering, Rosemary DOES just grow in the garden if you plant it. My dad has a TON in his garden, but we also live in Florida so it also may be specific to our climate but I don’t actually know
Pixar has a fair bit of creative freedom from disney storytelling 'rules' 🐁
If you haven't seen Klaus on Netflix, I'd definitely recommend it since it's fitting for Christmas coming up! It's a really fantastic and emotional movie and it feels like something you might like!
Yes, Klaus is fantastic
This is a movie that my dad and I quote to each other all the time. Such an iconic movie. And I feel you catch something new every single time you watch it over again.😁😁
I'm the same way with Cars
Fun fact, after my family watched this, my sister actually learned how to make ratatouille.😋
And we actually bought pet rats after seeing this movie as well.
And me, I'm french but I don't like ratatouille (the dish not the movie)
..can they cook?
@@a.g.demada5263 that’s ok!😁👍🏻
@@LuckyNemo03 no, they can’t cook, but after having many many hamsters for pets, the rats were a lot smarter and friendlier then the hamsters. We named a duo Spock and McCoy, and our third one was named splinter.
That's so wholesome
Snooty is being a nasty person in a stuck up way lol
Love this movie!

This is a 🔥 movie!
Facts!
Don't feel too bad. For the longest time I thought sweetbread was a type of fish.
Which was a step up from when I thought it was a bread that's sweet.
Rival when Remy is complimenting humans: 😳😊
If you haven't already watched it I would LOVE to see you react to Arcane!
Some Disney/Pixar animated movies I believe you haven’t seen yet are..
-Monsters Inc. and Monsters University
-Wall-E
-Cars, Cars 2, Cars 3
-Rest of the Toy Story such as Toy Story 2, 3 and 4
-Encanto (just came out on Thanksgiving)
GODDDD I would LOVE to see him react to WALL-E & Monsters Inc. Both are such great movies that have aged soooo well~
I recommend watching (rango) it so good and has a different vibe
Have you watched The Hunchback of Notre Dame yet? It's on the darker side but it's great.
I definitely have! But odds are i was probably about 6 years old so who knows 👀
@@RivalReacts trust me the darkest Disney movie (for me) is Pinocchio
Okay ngl, I am absolutely LOVING how the camera quality and background come together! Very inspiring stuff for me XDD
Thanks so much 😭😭❤️
4:39 If you plant it yes (easier to buy the full plant (or cutting as I think it's called), tickle the roots out and plant it in the garden rather than grow it from seed though). Tip though, if you're going to try growing your own rosemary, buy more than one bunch of it, buy 2 or 3 and wait for a few weeks (maybe even a month or two) so that it has time to properly grow (even though it means you have to buy rosemary while eating which makes you feel like you're defeating the purpose of buying it in the first place) before you pick it off, and after taken some (ok a large amount) rosemary off wait for a bit so it has time to regrow so it won't die and take stuff from one of the other branches instead. Wait long enough and repeat that caution throughout the years and it'll grow big enough so that you won't have to consider buying it ever again. Also, like thyme and oregano, rosemary prefers a dry soil so only water it every second or third day.
“If you taste the fire”….. what?!😂💀
Also i have to know if ‘midnight munch’ is actually in your daily vocabulary because i can’t with the cuteness 🥺 xx
It is absolutely in my day to day vocab
@@RivalReacts I love that! xx
Ratatouille made me sneak in the kitchen after my mother left to add seasonings... which was unessesary cause I'm black and theres always seasonings in our food 🤣 but I was a kid and the rat influenced me. But I went to culinary school after and now have a diploma and there they played ratatouille 🤷🏿♀️
7:55
The funny thing is, there’s already a bullet hole beforehand, which heavily implies that they’ve repeated this whole charade of “I’m gonna shoot you.”
Rats are carriers of more than 35 diseases that can be transmitted to men and that guy didn't think twice about putting it in his head. We have two alternatives, either he is stupid or he is not afraid to die. I think it's the first alternative 😐
I love this movie btw
Remi is the cleanest of Rats, tbh
@@lorettabes4553 well yes but i don't think linguini knew that. To him Remi was just another rat
They don’t carry that many diseases and the ones they do are the same you find on pet rodents as well. Still gross to have them in the kitchen but they aren’t as dirty as you think
you do know it's the same for dogs right? They have multiple bacterias and viruses they can infect us humans with :p
It’s also a movie where rats build sailboats and cook ratatouille, so…
Give this man an award for ‘Best Content Creator to Watch After a Stressful Day’! This one’s been my comfort movie since I was in high school, and I gotta say, the combination of Rival Reacts’ cute humor and the experience of rewatching this film has made my day so much better. Thank you!
PLEASE NEVER CUT YOUR REACTION TO SHOW ONLY THE MOVIE SCNENE , the most important thing are your reaction, the movie scenes are only a complement of your reaction.
honestly, if you want to watch some classic Disney movies, you should do a princess movie marathon! starting with Snow White and moving forward into the modern day. I know you've seen most of the modern princess movies, but watching classics like sleeping beauty and cinderella would be a fun reaction!
Agreed!
"WHY IS YOUR COUSIN SO BIG" 😂 fr tho that guy be lookin like he's from the sewers of NYC 🐀
Just love how he calls us his favorite bozos
You really are 🥲❤️ my absolute favorites
"You're very aggressive for someone who's... about to make soup." hahaaaaa
"Guts and Gusteau" is a fantastic name, especially since Gusteau sounds like Gusto
Honestly you having the scary movie argument with yourself about whether a mouse in the house that goes outside and is or isn't a rat is funny 😅
"I ain't never seen no mouse outside."
"That's because it's rat a fool!"
"Damn."
I read somewhere that the reason why that one cousin rat is too big is because he is a lab rat, the thing in ear is supposed to be a code or a tag which means there are many of them who had been experimented on
The shop with the dead rats on display actually exists.
“la ratatoulelee.. *smile & nod*” perfection
RIP peter o'toole the voice of anton ego(1932-2013) RIP ian holm the voice of chef skinner(1931-2020) and RIP Brian Dennehy the voice of django(1938-2020)😥 and i love ratouile🐀👨🍳❤ it is one of my favorite pixar movies in my top 5 favorite pixar movies and it is one of the underrated pixar movies but it is a good/a fantastic pixar movie🐀👨🍳🎬🎥👌 and rival great reaction video👏👏👍👍 and also rival reacts can you PLEASE do collab with timotheereacts maybe to the pixar movie cars finding nemo and finding dory❤😊❤👍
This movie makes me hungry and I have a empty stomach
The Lion King, Finding Nemo, Inside Out
The song brings me to life
Technically, they could claim Remy is creating the recipes at home. That way he still gets the credit but the restaurant doesn't shut down. Yes. I have to assume they lie about him helping. It's a small restaurant, easily ran by only the 3 of them.
Rats and mice do not get along, at all. In fact, rats will eat mice. You will not find mice and rats in the same location.
Skinner's descent into madness was a huge part of why I love this movie lol
16:31 thats Thomas Keller, the movies chef consultant! The ratatouille recipe they use at the end is a variation of HIS recipe!
I literally just watched this movie yesterday on TV. Can't wait to see your reaction!
speaking of rats/mouses have you ever seen Stuart little? omg YOU GOTTA watch it 😭
I dont think so… i do know what it is though 😂
I love your reactions! I mean Ive been having an addiction to Rob Schneider films recently so I cant stay on videos for long without wanting to watch one but I did find you like an hour ago and I definitly love your videos
Mice are smaller and have fuzzy tails. Rats are bigger and have bare tails.
Have you seen the Black Cauldron? If it weren’t specifically Disney films I’d suggest you watch all the Cartoon Saloon films they’re all gorgeous to behold!!
"she likes to carry knives so i like her" solid logic
I'm sure you won't look at this, but most herbs will grow quite well in basically any condition, especially the woodier and wild ones
Too much death for a Disney movie? It’s way easier to find a Disney movie that starts with death than one that doesn’t. Lion King, Up, Bambi, Finding Nemo, Soul all start with death, most of them a parental death.
I have a rosemary bush in my backyard and use it all the time to cook 👩🍳
Nah you’re winning at life for real 😭
the shop window with the rats hanging in it was based on a real shop the creators saw when they went to paris for research
SHEEEEEEEEEEESHHHHHHH rival! loving this FIRE quality of your new videos! the ~GROWTH~
p.s. orange juice with pulp is the correct decision.
THANKS CLAU 😭❤️
Unsure if anyone else covered this, but flambé (setting fire to a pan) is an almost entirely dramatic way of burning off alcohol. Some great pan sauces use liquor (cognac, whiskey, etc) and it's a nice flashy way to burn off the actual alcohol.
Some people say it adds a certain flavor to the dish, but it's mostly showboating. Not that there's anything wrong with showboating, but still.
Seriously though why don't you have more subscribers? Your reactions are just the best!
Thanks bestie, we can only hope 😭
Hey, good catch on the vantage point, nobody else would have their eyesight go into the lights like that.
orange juice with pulp is absolutely the vibe
Still waiting for you to react to 'A Silent Voice' XD But yes, this movie is great, one of my fave childhood films ^-^
I only like orange juice with pulp if It's in a screwdriver... Sunny D also makes a good screwdriver.
I recommend another fantasy cartoon with a rodent protagonist. She is a widowed field mouse trying to support her three children and keep them safe. It’s a fantasy called The Secret of NIMH.
“The best thing u can make is a glass of water”
Me: 🤣🤣😆🤣😆😆🤣😆🤣😆🤣
My favorite line of this video was “yea I love 💥 it’s my favorite flavor” LMFAOAOOA
HOW have u never watched this masterpiece
today is my birthday I'm turning 12 but I think my auntie forgot she didn't call.
Not once did the chefs double-dip their spoons when tasting stuff
Rats and mice are both very territorial and rats have been known to eat mice as they are both omnivores.
You should try “it’s such a beautiful day” by don hertzfeld. Made me cry
At least in the US you can buy orange juice with pulp or without and usually with pulp it'll say more or less pulp and I tend to get less pulp cuz I feel like without the pulp at all it feels fake and with more pulp you're basically just chewing your juice so I like the light pulp
🐀
This film feels like I am a part of French (Parisian) cuisine culture. Truly incredible!
I watched this movie around the age of 8 and Im now a professional chef. I have to mention this movie when people ask why I chose my career path lol anyone can cook 💙
Love all your videos bro! Keep it up!!!😁
Thaanks!!
I would love to see your reaction to Hercules. Such an amazing movie!😊
Rival: Collette is a murderer.
Me: In every movie that's not made by Disney she'd be a lesbian.
The funny thing about you saying how thick people's accents are in this movie is that the voice actors were told to tone down their French accents to make it easier for children to understand. I get it, though, this was hard for me to fully understand without subtitles, even as an adult... And I fluently speak French! (It's my 3rd language.) And I think that none of the actors were French, either, so they nailed their accents pretty well!
When she said "a peasant dish" she meant an ordinary and simple one. Imagine going to a famous and expensive restaurant to eat and they give you a sandwich, a simple and without any side dish sandwich.
RATATOUILLE IS A CINEMATIC MASTERPIECE HELL YEA
Yooo honestly I used to hate pulp as a kid. But now, I'm a certified pulp enjoyer
Love this
The most iconic song from this movie is "Le Festin". You should definitely Google the translation for that song
Yeah rosemary is a relatively easy bush to grow if you’re careful. I’ve grown some and I am not a gardener. Mint.. you be careful with mint because it will take over everything like a weed. Though I do like the smell when the lawn gets mowed. Most spices have a lovely smell and some have beautiful flowers.
My husband plans on growing spicy peppers next year and I plan on tomatoes and onions. I loooove tomatoes.
